Maybe not worth a spot in a deck but I actually like this version of Jayemdae Tome. Two mana is much easier to manage than 4 and three cards is likely enough value. After that it's still not useless (I really dislike cards that have limited charges then become useless) because you can Scry. Nice design all around.

Investing two Mana into being able to crack a clue three times and scary? Yes please.

Looks like all the mechanics are being reversed from last set. Instead of adding brick counters it removes them.

With all the magic-users, you'd think a couple would develop architectural spells. You can Shatter in an instant a Colossus of Sardia or Murder a Force of Nature, but you can't stack some granite blocks with your magic? Pitiful. I guess it makes sense though. They're probably still using Orcish Lumberjack to clear the land before construction begins.
