2. Be respectful and constructive when critiquing cards.
- This forum is not for proving you know more or are a better designer, ripping people's work to shreds, or for rude comments and heated debates. Engaging in any behavior that contributes to a hostile atmosphere rather than to a positive and supportive one will be infracted as a flame or troll.
- In CCC&G, many games involve judging other peoples' work. Please keep the above in mind when doing this!
3. Always provide artist credit!
- If you post a render of your designs that shows art created by anyone other than you, you must properly credit the artist.
-Properly crediting the artist means including:
a) The artist's full name or screen name.
b) A link to the website from where you got the art. Be as specific as possible.
- You should include the artist's name in the render and the link in your post.
- If you, or somebody you know personally (such as a significant other) created the art and you have permission to use it here, please mention this in the post.
4. In Custom Card Contests & Games, constructive necroing of old, ongoing game threads that have fallen off the front page and that are not time-bounded is allowed.
- For example, if the Alphabetical Card Game had no replies for over a month, it's permitted to post the next card in the alphabet and participate in the game as intended, and in the process bump it.
- Double-posting - i.e., replying to your own prompt, or posting two parts of a sequence in a row in a thread like this - is allowed as long as the thread is NOT on the front page at the time.
5. Don't pointlessly double post.
- Double posting, or making two or more posts in a row, is discouraged in CCC.
- The exception is if you are updating a thread with new cards, which we allow. Please observe the necro rule, however.
6. Follow the rules for the game you're entering!
- Posting off-topic posts in a game thread can derail it and lead to situations where multiple people are frustrated with your conduct. Please try to keep your game entries appropriate for the contest you're in!
7. If in doubt, ask a moderator!
- We don't like giving out infractions. If you suspect that something you want to do might be against the rules, or if there is some gray area, feel free to contact us to discuss it beforehand!
Please be guided accordingly,

TIPS AND TRICKS
This is a little section of things you can do to maximize exposure and minimize confusion when posting your cards. We won't infract for failing to do these things, but they are all highly recommended "best practices" here in CCC.
1. Format your cards like this!

CARDNAME'S rules text goes here.
Don't forget to use appropriate line breaks! Flavor text should be in italics!

2. Always post a text card!
Some people turn images off. Some people have slow connections. Some people just hate images. Some people might be blind and read the site through a text-to-speech interpreter! There are any number of reasons to always post a text card with any renders you post.
3. Use spoilers for large images!
This is mostly a courtesy issue, but if you are attaching large images to your post, please put them in spoiler tags!
4. All about contests!
There are a few general types of contests in CCC&G:
1. Quick Reply contests. These are contests with no judging, just entries. Post a card and you're good to go!
2. Rolling Judgment contests. These are contests that periodically collect entries and then have a period of judgment or voting. Post a card, but pay attention to see if you win! You may have obligations as the winner of a contest.
3. Monthly Qualifier games. These games fire at the beginning of each month. They are the MCC, the DCC, the CCL, and the various games hosted by Club Flamingo. These games are typically month-long, single-elimination games that have only one winner at the end of the month.
4. The CCC&G Pro Tour. This is a giant, invite-only contest held only twice a year. Invites are provided through the Monthly Qualifier games. Click the link to learn more!
