Rules (inspired by Xylthixlm, stolen from Ged! And then stolen from Proph/Atog )
[1] I will enforce the rules strictly, because I'm evil like that.
[2] Your vote must be in bold. You don't need to unvote before voting.
[3] If my vote count doesn't seem to reflect your vote, just revote.
[4] Once your death scene has been posted, you're dead. Dead people don't make forum posts. If you make a post after you are dead, I will hunt you down.
[5] Post at least once every 48 hours. If you don't, I'll hunt you down. And prod you. After that you’ll be given at most another 48 hours or so before you are either replaced or modkilled. If you're going to be without computer access for more than 48 hours, let me know ahead of time either in the thread or by PM. Remember, people: if we work together we can have a replacement free game, but that can only happen with your help.
[6] No funny stuff like invisible text, tiny text, cryptography, or acronym claims.
[7] Don't edit posts.
[8] Don't quote PMs.
[9] You may not talk outside of the thread to anyone about anything that goes on in this game. Period. Whether you're dead, or they're dead, whether they're in the game or not.
[10] Have fun and be nice to the other players and me, even if we don't deserve it.
Additional info:
Deadlines will be (number of living players * 1.5) days.
Day will end when a majority vote (half the living players rounded up) is reached.
If deadline is reached without a majority vote, the player with the most votes will be lynched. In the event of a tie, the player who reached that number of votes first will be lynched.
Night phases will last 48 hours.
No lynch is an option.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
A couple things that aren't listed in the setup/rules that I'd like clarified:
How long are phases?
Does a majority of votes hard lynch?
If we hit deadline without a hard lynch, what happens? Does plurality soft lynch, or do we no-lynch? If plurality soft lynches, does a tie mean that both die, 1 dies at random, or neither die?
Could we choose to hammer "no-lynch" if we felt like it for some reason?
As its a semi-open setup, could you edit the OP with full role descriptions for the possible roles involved?

im bringing in tombot for this real quick
doing math in verse would make me a dick
INPUT 9 players, 2 scum
>Odds of successful Day 1 lynch = .222
>Odds of forcing a power role to out themselves* = .148 (8 possible town power roles distributed amongst 6 possible setups)
>>Combined odds of successful Day 1 lynch = .251 (.222 + .777(.148·.25))
>>>additional .333 chance of having a second power role to possibly out
Total odds = .254 (.251 + .749(.333·(1/8)·(1/7))
Possibilities:
>Dead scum .222
>Dead scum and outed power role .029
>Dead scum and two outed power roles .003
>Dead VT .630
>Dead VT and one or more outed power role .116

There are circumstances where this can be the correct play. I may have made a micro that made this optimal, and it also offers opportunity to address how people react to abnormal stimulus. For instance, most scum players know how to react to say...a day 1 massclaim, for instance.
In this particular instance, there is a specific reason why no lynching would be a bad idea. I am curious why you didn't mention it?

It was still 90% an RVS-ish vote. The 10% was because I find joking about the mod being scum to be a suuuper light scumtell, since it completely avoids potentially talking about other players. I made a vote that was both silly and also had the potential to be serious, depending on what happened next. I thought your reaction to the first (and only) vote on you was weird, and it looked like you were asking tom to elaborate on his math that doesn't actually accomplish anything.
20% is probably better than your 0% vote on Rhand! Also I don't know why we're acting like these numbers are concrete.
