I was a little bit hangry at that point. Didn't mean to hurt the feels.
But to speak to the Iso point... Interaction analysis will be useless. Behavioral analysis will be the better tool, except any Cult Leader worth their salt can curb acting scummy for a day. So in reality, it won't yield results until after a flip. Iso is one of the better analysts, but also a huge distraction the later in the game he lives. You're telling me that none of you already came into the game being paranoid of him? You read your cult PM, realized you were vanilla, and then didn't instantly think of who would need to be sorted out the quickest?
No lynching is not a good idea as it gives us one less chance to nail the cult leader, as well as what Iso said.

Other ideas for Day 1? Maybe we kill Tom for hiding behind a gimmick instead of actually playing with his own words and thoughts? Oh, he is "flavor gaming".... That's actually funny. Play on words and all.
Maybe it's best we No Lynch here? Not all that used to setups with one-man scumteams, and in the few I have played, it's usually pretty stalled in the beginning because no scumbuddy interactions.
tom is probably going to be super unhelpful and continue to serenade us with italics.
Iso, I think if you can divine the Cultist Day 1, I will bake you something delicious and then take a picture of me eating it, since you probably don't want mail dessert.
Do I get delicious pastries too? Because you are scum.

Alright, I'm gonna lay out exactly where I'm coming from so that I can a) remove myself from the mislynch pool, or b) make the people who lynch me look awful and make sure they're scrutinized post-mortem. I have yet to be mislynched on MTGS, and if I'm going down, so is the Cult Leader.
(Or at least I'll do my best to make sure of it.)
I dunno if this is gonna be tl;dr but I am gonna ramble and maybe quote a bunch of stuff. I probably won't quote anything of tom's because it's all gibberish, but I him anyways.
First off, how I treated Huntzilla. He's a pretty easy read if you ignore ~most of what he posts and focus on his attitude towards the game. That's part of the reason I voted him; the other part is that with him having recently witnessed Iso decimating the scumteam in two different games (where Hunt was town both times), I have a hard time comprehending why town!Hunt would rather vote Iso off on Day 1 rather than try to figure him out. His responses:
So the problem for Hunt here is that he thinks the Day 1 lynch is going to be more baseless than it usually is/seems because scum are just as uninformed as the rest of the town. So what's the solution? Sort Iso! By lynching him.
I personally disagree with that course of action in a general sense, but Iso is being a limp floppy noodle so far and I don't like it. So maybe we can lynch him. Depends on how the Day plays out.
Hunt only has one more post after this, and it's fluff. I wanted to wait a little longer before moving my vote + explaining what I was doing to see how Hunt would react to me, but Wheat Grinder is being an impatient little smurph so here we are. Plus, I've talked about how I read Hunt in past games, so maybe he's adapted. Not worried about it right now.
I think we start off by killing Iso. Either he is the cult leader, or he is going to distract us because we all will fear he is the cult leader. Either way, he needs to die.
I'd be on board for the policy lynch of Iso, but I'm never on board for the policy lynch of Iso. Otherwise, solid plan.
-
@tom: Are we gonna start this like Neighbors again or are you gonna town hard enough for me early, this time?
Alternatively, are you the Cultist?
Mostly fluff, nothing awful.
Then he naked votes me, probably seeing how I react to it, blah blah blah.
I accept mail desserts as long as they don't go bad before reaching me.
Currenty, I think the Cultist is between 8 of the non-Iso players. Watch out, Cultist - I'm hot on your trail.
That aside, No Lynching seems really poor in this setup.
The fewer targets we give the Cultist, the higher chance the Deprogrammer has of hitting the same person, and the more chances we have at sussing out individually scummy players.
No, I think a Day 1 lynch is rather vital, particularly for ~reasons~ I'll be glad to reveal later.
Fluff and mechanics, which is fine because I asked about No Lynching. He's not really talking about his vote on me just yet.
Curious: how much longer until your ~reasons~ come to light?
It feels so wrong to be agreeing with Wheat about something.
But...I agree with Wheat about everything, and Vaimes is just so off-kilter that it's unusual.
A demon cannot be trusted, and a dragon will not be ruled.
vote iso
Go bother someone that's scum.
You're not even trying. I don't intend to get lynched for imaginary reasons, so help me out, here.
You're not gonna try to sic tom on me by explaining why I'm so ~monstrously~ wrong (that's a pretty intense word choice for something you can't even bother to explain)? You seem to really think I'm scum (although I personally don't believe you believe it a la Ace Attorney).
Vote Iso
Onto Wheat, and how I'm reading him differently even though he insists on calling me scum.
First post is whatever, poking at Iso.
He calls me scum for asking if the Deprogrammer can be recruited, which? Eh. I was pondering whether or not the Deprogrammer should claim Day 1 if they couldn't be recruited and we'd have a Day 1 townfirm to work with. Bad, maybe, but not scum motivated.
Calls my reasons for voting Hunt bad. Not a fan of just "bad"-ding a post and leaving it at that. It's just obnoxious, and you know I'm going to ask you why anyways.
still pretty sure tom is town. Can't remember if I said that already.
I see exactly where he's coming from and he's wrong but only because Vaimes is scum and therefore Iso isn't.
Vote: Vaimes
"Too easy to speedlynch" he says.
Anyway, main difference in my reads on Iso vs. Wheat is that Wheat is owning his vote, whereas Iso is trying to jokingly pass off accountability to Wheat.
---
I don't really have any other reads. tom is gimmicking and he could be scum, but eh. If he got lynched toDay and flipped town, we don't get much from his posts.
DV made a couple of okay posts, and Anak is ?busy?.
For people who want to see how Iso genuinely scumhunts (or how he fakes it) should read Stargate (Neutral, pegged the scumteam) and Ace Attorney (scum, didn't own his votes/scumreads).
If you've never been mislynched that actually makes me feel even better about you.
(Or at least I'll do my best to make sure of it.)
I dunno if this is gonna be tl;dr but I am gonna ramble and maybe quote a bunch of stuff. I probably won't quote anything of tom's because it's all gibberish, but I him anyways.

I'm a what?
So it's fine for you to vote Huntz but not fine for me to vote you.
"I wanted to wait a little longer" I'm going to go into how I detest this later.
Vague dislike. Weird-ish thing going on with how he treats Wheat. Potential blame shift if I do end up getting lynched: noted.

Calls my reasons for voting Hunt bad. Not a fan of just "bad"-ding a post and leaving it at that. It's just obnoxious, and you know I'm going to ask you why anyways.
No, I don't accept this. Because you're somehow unhappy with me for putting an end to your spat with Huntz because you were hoping for more from him, yet you were the one who asked for the information that shut it down.
You're trying to have everything two ways. You're also smart enough to know that it doesn't work like that. Therefore I can only assume that it's all spin.
I didn't think Hunt was especially town, either. So I poked him about it, because I find him easier to read than most.
Why don't I believe you? It's because you looked willing to go the whole way on Huntz until called out.
Accusing me of reacting to "public disfavor" is whatever. The only disfavor was from you and Iso. I only sheep strong townreads.
Why don't I believe you? It's because you're freaking out about Iso and I voting you, which is still the only disfavor pointed your direction.
You are speaking out both sides of your mouth.

DV made a couple of okay posts, and Anak is ?busy?.
Ta-da.
And with that you have successfully shat on almost every player in the game.
I know absolutely nothing about your history with Iso.
I don't get your point on how I asked for info that shut down the Hunt thing.
If you don't believe me, shrug. There's no way for me to magically change your mind if laying out my thoughts completely as they are didn't do anything for you.
How have I shat on every player? I don't want to lynch tom, Hunt, you, or DV.
That's L-1. Not really a bluff; I've laid out everything I think, along with my main scumread (Iso) and the reasons for it. If people think I'm scummy enough to warrant a Day 1 lynch (which sucks, because I thought I had been improving enough to break away from being so mislynchable), then I guess that's just how it is.
If I get lolhammered because Curse delays posts sometimes, oops.
I know absolutely nothing about your history with Iso.
I'll let you get away with it then. For future reference: Iso and I almost always have the wrong read on each other.
I don't get your point on how I asked for info that shut down the Hunt thing.
I don't get what you're saying in this sentence.
If you don't believe me, shrug. There's no way for me to magically change your mind if laying out my thoughts completely as they are didn't do anything for you.
You have laid out a fabrication completely.
How have I shat on every player? I don't want to lynch tom, Hunt, you, or DV.
Shat on does not mean "thinks is scum" in this context.
That's L-1. Not really a bluff; I've laid out everything I think, along with my main scumread (Iso) and the reasons for it. Sometimes I second-guess myself when someone is too scummy, because scum have some self-awareness.
But you keep trying to make the "right" decision rather than the natural one, so my read only gets stronger.
I was going to make a big giant post about why you're wrong and how that makes you scum and then I realized a thing so I'm actually not down with lynching you any more. My early vote on you was part reaction-baiting, part me thinking you could be scum for what seemed like non-genuine opening posts.
So, Unvote.
However, I'm still happy to clear up some misconceptions for you.
As Wheat said, he and I have a Mafia history; one that goes back 5 years. None of my posts or points about suspecting Wheat have even been slightly joking. Outside of yourself, he was my strongest scum read. (Now he is my strongest scum read!)
On that note, Vote Wheat.
Perhaps you're misunderstanding my tone. I can get that, as I'm certainly approaching this game dramatically differently in execution than I was with Townville. However, what you're not considering is how the setup is affecting my process. Electron Cloud is weaker in single scum setups, which relates to the ~reasons~ thing you were curious about, but also still not something I'll be touching on until an unspecified amount of time later, as that will decrease the effectiveness of my approach if I do. I have to wonder why you assume I would automatically share my reasoning for voting a person, though, when you've seen me utilize naked votes as pressure tools both with and without having a reason for scumreading my targets and seeing what falls out when I shake the tree. That seems disingenuous.
I realize that it's difficult to let go of a scum read when they're the original reason you came under pressure, but now that I've performed a small paradigm shift and let a little bit of information on my thoughts loose, that will hopefully assuage your concerns about myself.
I do have a question for you, though - why push me for my railing of you ( ) but not Wheat for the identical push?

He scowls at his imperfect creation, then crushes it to scrap. He salvages the etherium and begins anew.
I'd like to hear from Anak and DV a bit.
I'm pretty sure Vaimes is not the Cult from the last day or so of posts. Comfortable with Iso, and Tom as well.
@Iso
I'm not sure I agree with your Wheat push Iso. Basically, because you agree with him, he must be the scum? Is it similar to Proph's litmus test when reading me; "If Hunt's acting town, he's scum. If he's acting scummy, he's town?"
Otherwise, he has seemed like normal wheat to me.
Vaimes is it because hunt just wanted to kill one of the better analysts on our team immediately?
But to speak to the Iso point... Interaction analysis will be useless. Behavioral analysis will be the better tool, except any Cult Leader worth their salt can curb acting scummy for a day. (Can't really speak for his magic powers in a game with lonescum on Day 1, but maybe he'll surprise me.)
I'm surprised that after Stargate and Townsville your first instinct in this game as town would be to want Iso dead on Day 1.
No to the first, but almost certainly to the second.
So Vaimes is scum.
Good-o
Do I get delicious pastries too? Because you are scum.
Your reason is bad and you should feel bad.
But after he makes posts like that I can't say I'm completely against the idea.
Feeling good about Tom and Iso.
Actually, I liked his answer.
I don't like what you're doing, here.
But I'm also torn about the fact that Wheat is agreeing with me and almost want to lynch him on principle for such.

I'll post sometime in the next few days.
Seriously though, that's a rough stretch.
My first reaction was "no" but then there was no content since my last post and I feel like posting.
The reason is because you don't believe Huntz is scum, haven't thought he's scum, and are trying to disengage in the face of public disfavor.
If I "suddenly" change my mind on Wheat overNight, he's probably the Cultist and recruited me.
But...I agree with Wheat about everything, and Vaimes is just so off-kilter that it's unusual.

Too bad they're more fluff.
Glancing at Wheat's wall, it looks like it's just going to be a bunch of taunting, but we'll see.
I'm gonna sit back and let the lesser-knowns post a bit, since I've given plenty of content (and I don't have any more since my recent infodump).
Unvote
Vote Vaimes

I'll let you get away with it then. For future reference: Iso and I almost always have the wrong read on each other.
I don't get what you're saying in this sentence.
You have laid out a fabrication completely.
Shat on does not mean "thinks is scum" in this context.
I quoted this one out of order and won't bother to fix it. Do you believe Vaimes is town or scum?
Sometimes I second-guess myself when someone is too scummy, because scum have some self-awareness.
But you keep trying to make the "right" decision rather than the natural one, so my read only gets stronger.
I don't think we're gonna get much with us walling at each other, so.
Interact with other people for a bit.
Catching up now
I was going to make a big giant post about why you're wrong and how that makes you scum and then I realized a thing so I'm actually not down with lynching you any more.

(You would know the answer to that last question if you read my wall! It's in there, right near the end, I promise.)
I know it's there, but given that I deconstructed your stance about how I was approaching Wheat, I don't feel satisfied with that answer.
I mean, do you really want to know why I'm suddenly townreading you?

Yes, for accountability purposes; otherwise, eh.
I'm pretty sure Vaimes is not the Cult from the last day or so of posts. Comfortable with Iso, and Tom as well.
@Iso
