DV felt town to me because he was playing like Megs, but in a way that was actually helpful. Like I understood why he was voting for who he was, and it had meaning, while no brakesing.
Sort of surprised at the Cantrip NK, I actually expected it to be DV or Shadow based on people's thoughts on them so far

I did too, so I checked his posts and the only thing I can figure is that Cantrip was technically the first person to explicitly say that Megs was probably scum, thus would have been the hardest lynch.

I feel like Tom is probably our best first lynch, because I really don't want him as a question mark if we get down to the final 3, and his "I still think megs is town" post felt a little too "oh no how could I be that wrong /sarcasm"
i mean, i get that im not endgaming this. even aside from a paranoia lynch, i accidentally defended scum yesterday
if you want to lynch me first that sucks but i get it.

dont let killjoy live
not sure why the cantrip kill is weird tbh.
More than anything, I just expected to die. Also, I'm not planning on letting anyone but myself and DV slot live if it comes to it. I'm pretty sure this game is in town's hands.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

Hmm, I'm tinfoiling a scum!megs world. Megs, why aren't you doing anything to reconsider/further your reads and the gamestate?
Tom: why did you eliminate the scum Meg pairings except with me and DV?
hol on a sec
how i'm supposed to do those things when we haven't even had any flips?
wait, wait, i feel something coming on... it's... it's... by god, i've just re-evaluated the gamestate!

This is why I think Anak might be town. Scum would have thought of this, and Anak isn't very good at hiding what he's thinking. Like this seems genuine and I can't see it coming from scum.

Actually I think Shadow might be meg's partner. How quickly he switched from his obvious preference to lynching 4 d1 as well as his sheeping tom on voting other me just seems... wrong.

nah, megs actually tried to get anak lynched and left as soon as it didnt look viable. i know this cuz its the same thing i did.
but as scum, thats how you treat a townie. try to lynch them and move on if it doesnt work.
that aint distancing
megs and shadow is a little more viable. theyre both capable of scum theater like that. but... why?
in a micro where you can just try to sweep?
@Windveiled Hi, I love your enthusiasm but you happen to be very wrong. Say you lynch me and I flip town, who would you look at next? I see you mention Tom, why would you want to lynch him.
@KJ You are probably right, we have to lynch you at some point today just because of how D1 went with zomg. But why did you keep mentioning that, instead of just moving on and trying to scumhunt? Also if you didn't like Tom's NO BRAKES strat, what did you think about DV doing mostly the same?
Sure Megs is unpredictable, but he is predictably unpredictable. I think we still can use his flip to our benefit, it's not something that we should just ignore.
@KJ: I was never gung-ho for lynching 4, as the day went on you can see my propensity towards 2. I did say I could be persuaded, but there was never any good arguments made.
Also, why wouldn't scum!shadow move forward with the Anak lynch, I even had a scum lean on him earlier in the day that I could have leaned on. Instead, you think that I turned the lynch off of a townie and onto my partner? Sure it would be a solid bus to get me a god shot at end game, but lynching 2 townies day one is an even better shot.
_________________________________________
At this point, I'm reasonably sure that Wind is town, and we get 3 Lynches today, so I'm okay with any/all of Tom/Anak/KJ. I think we should probably start though so that we can not miss our deadline.
why would he seal off the anak mislynch if he is scum?
I mean he could spin the angle of lynching me and going "guess I was wrong about who Megs was busing" and rescind his Anak clear, but you're right, he has a pretty decent shot at just being town. I'm not voting him because I think he's the best choice, I'm voting him because I think you're almost 100% town and that makes the 3 Lynches of the day a lock win for me.
It's not a trap. I want to lynch you/Anak/KJ, and at this point I don't see much point to hunt between the 3 of you. I've found the one town I needed to find.

Working on it.
The GJ way path to no lynching:
The GJ way path to no lynching:
Killjoy (1): tomsloger
Not Voting (4): Everyone else
With 5 alive, it takes 3 to lynch. Deadline in 3 1/2 days.
The GJ way path to no lynching:
@KJ: who is your top pick for scum right now?
Sort of surprised at the Cantrip NK, I actually expected it to be DV or Shadow based on people's thoughts on them so far

Vote Tom
if you want to lynch me first that sucks but i get it.
dont let killjoy live
not sure why the cantrip kill is weird tbh.
going to read up
Tom is right though, I can't live today. I'm too big of a question mark.
8. Killjoy - town
2. D_V/Windveiled - me
1. shadowlancerx
4. zomgarcwind/killjoy
6. tomsloger
7. Anaklusmos
3. Megiddo - mafia
so we just need to make the last mafia not be able to endgame? and we get 3 lynches in order to do that?
all we do is we need to find ONE town
i also feel the town vibes radiating from tom and shadow.
i don't get town vibes from anak!
vote anak
megiddo felt like he was bussing anak and wanted the credit!
he also moved off to shadow went the opportunity presented itself!
let's have anak be our first lynch! dv, i will honor your wishes
Maybe I'm hilariously wrong about him.
for most of the game he was going NO BREAKS
but then he makes an actual case on anak!
he tunnels anak for a bit, then moves off onto shadow!
this is why i think anak is scum
then tom?
if it's f3 with me/killjoy/shadow i'd need to think really hard!
but i'm hoping it's just anak for the win
This is why I think Anak might be town. Scum would have thought of this, and Anak isn't very good at hiding what he's thinking. Like this seems genuine and I can't see it coming from scum.
I don't like tom's no brakes strat is what I was gonna say.
I don't like that he prefers two, but can be persuaded to follow meg's plan.

if we end up lynching two of killjoy/shadow/tom/anak and the game doesn't end..
i would need to make a very difficult choice!
Unvote, Vote KJ
Hammer if you'd like.
why would he seal off the anak mislynch if he is scum?
that's why i'm asking everyone else!
do you mean me?
unvote, Vote Anak
