I doubt he'd get "bomb" returned co soldering that's noylt my actual role. I'm now a bomb because of my role. Briefcase that Tom turned down.
Well, it depends on if he gets current abilities or what you started the game with, but either way if he gets ability text he'd be able to tell if you were actually a bomb or not, right?
Because even if he cops your "briefcase" ability it should say that you/the target become a bomb.
I'm a bomb. I switch roles with the person and make them a bomb, or they decline and I'm a bomb. So. Now my utility is ****ed. Don't lynch me. Lynch real scum.
A protection ability is a deterrent from scum shooting players the town wants to keep alive. A protective role is doing their job as long as a protective role can be left alive. Hunt being one shot doesn't matter unless he says he can only offer one time in which case ????
I thought he meant that he could only offer once per game, yes, which would make him just a bomb now. Obviously being a bomb is one-shot, you can't really use it twice, you're dead.
I thought Hunt was pointing out the incredibly obvious because Hunt or because weird Iso wording.
I don't understand why Huntzilla of all people would assume that he would be getting nightkilled.
skimmed through nacho
didnt really learn much
shadow very unlikely to be partner based on trying to blame him for bur lynch and some opportunistic pushes. some soft defenses of DV that are worth noting, but nacho seems to have been townsiding pretty hard between wheat bus and osi/tammy defenses. probably unlikely anyway based on his action claim leading us there.
Got two minutes so quick post:
I agree with the above, if silver and I are both alive then hunt lynch is optimal.
If DV is town I still think targeting me is the way to go, because even if Rod is town, he's lynchable, meaning I'm pretty sure the only way I live is if it's too risky to kill me.
I'm not entirely sure who to rolecop, but having nacho flip scum means we'be got some wiggle room, so I'm going to ponder overnight. Still probably won't target tom.
If there's a double kill, a governor-induced no lynch might lose on the spot right? It'd be 4/1 then me+rodemy+extra -> 1/1 = a loss.
If there's only one kill, yeah, 5/1 no lynch goes to F4 if they kill me+Rod that Night and F3 if they have, like, one extra kill and hold it toNight for some reason.
It's like, 100% between Cantrip and Huntz as far as I'm concerned. That's my legacy post. If I live until F3 I might consider Rod, but obviously if I die there's no reason to consider it.
Nah almost all of the worlds I see involve nacho being responsible for extra kill. Via ninja or pgo.
Can't be cantrip unless it's a factional ability
Dv/huntz/shadow/rodemy would have to be able to use their role and an extra kill
Could theoretically still be dv if he superwatches his kill target but that requires exactly AG being bodyguard and saving me. Which I guess isn't impossible. But is still a bit of a stretch.
Silver doesn't have any account for his night actions, but anak and nacho treating his role the same way (which at first blush I would describe as "frustrated that he got cleared for a pretty lame role") makes that not pass the smell test.
Yeah, maybe. Unless Horseman abilities are /like/ factional ones without actually being them.
I should probably say that if you decide to give us an unloverize power, try to make it a day action. Otherwise it probably won't help since they could still double kill us the night we activate it.
Also the revive shot is kind of risky since you ~might give it to scum, but. It /is/ worth considering.
Also also, if you have a better idea go for it, wine, etc.
The crowd was rowdy, but steadily growing silent. They knew it was close to the time, they've seen this happen twice now, and they know the drill. Everyone traded glances except one individual, who seemed to be scowling.
"I haven't got all day." Everyone stopped being so frantic, and systemically pointed at Nachomamma8. He shook his head, and willingly stepped forward.
"Do you think you are guilty?" Apocalypse asked. The chosen individual remained completely silent. After asking, he looked to the crowd. "Confident he's not one of your own?"
Frantic glances returned to the faces of everyone around. Someone finally spoke up. "No, but its the best we got until we can find out more."
An amused Apocalypse suddenly turned sour. A few sighs of relief were to be heard but others weren't as instantly convinced.
"If you doubt your best, I'd hate to see what confidence looks like." As a hand from Apocalypse reached out, Nachomamma8 closed his eyes and tilted his head down, accepting his fate. A bright flash ensued and a specter was ripped from his body as he slumped over lifeless, a Horseman who seemed to wail in agony on his way out.
"No matter. you'll all die soon enough."
Nachomamma8 has been lynched. He was Jakob Ytfelin, The Rebel, Death.
It is now Night 3. Night actions are due to Iso and myself within 72 hours of this post.
A brisk breeze passed through the room. Stale. The smell of death lingered.
A figure in a trenchcoat quickly walked by Rodemy and performed a blow to his neck. Rodemy exploded into messy chunks, the trenchcoat fallen to the floor amidst the scene of gore and confusion.
Silvercrys3467 dropped to his knees and let out a wail. "My only friend in this time has come to pass...I can no longer live with this burden."
Silvercrys3467 rifled through Rodemy's pockets and pulled out a bottle of whiskey, downed the last bit, pulled out his flux capacitor, and aimed it at his head. A portal in time ripped open his skull as he fell to the ground, dead, crushing the time travel device, and closing the portal.
Rodemy has been killed. He was Devin O'Malley, The Drunk.
Silvercrys3467 has died. He was ???, The Time Traveler.

Works for me, but I want to hear from Tom and Shadow before we just lollynch. Not gonna stand for some "oh, you just lynched town? Bummer that the Governor ability got nerfed in the Night" baloney. I want to hear from Shadow (WITH KERFUFFLES) that he still has it.
And we save Hunt if town and Lynch Cantrip tomorrow.
Um, there's a big problem with this, though, because I'm town. So if Hunt is town, gets governed, and then gets NK'd because conf!town, please don't just speed lynch me.
Only one scum left; should be safe to:
Vote DV, Vote Tom
Just to demonstrate that I still have it.
And Hunt, will you please unvote so that I can hammer you with both my votes (when the time comes) to prove to DV that my two votes actually count toward the lynch? (There's a question I never thought I'd ask in a game of mafia...)
Tom, did you specify the text of the ability you gave Shadow? Is that something that's quotable (by either of you)? I'm guessing asking Iso hypotheticals about the situation won't get me anywhere because I can't specify the text of the ability. Can both of you ask Iso if we lynch Hunt, then use Shadow's ability on him, if we learn Hunt's alignment?
Only one scum left, so can't be Tom AND Shadow. Feels reeeeeeeeaaaallllly unlikely that scum!Tom gives town!Shadow a legit governor ability, so I think Tom is cleared as town? If Iso confirms that we learn Hunt's alignment, then we lynch Hunt, governize him regardless, if he's scum, he kills one and we lynch him tomorrow. If he's town, then it's between DV and Shadow. Unless Shadow doesn't governize him, and then it's obv!Shadow.
Someone smarter than me should work on a plan if Iso says we wouldn't learn Hunt's alignment.
I will be posting carefully to avoid screwing up. Though I'm not entirely sure if I'd even use it at this point, as we won't get alignment info if I do.

The way it's worded, it prevents the lynch entirely, makes that person unlynchable the rest of the day, resets the vote count and extends the deadline by a week for us to lynch someone else. I'll ask Iso for sure, but I would be very surprised if we got a flip from someone who's lynch was prevented.
I guess I reevaluate on Shadow/DV today. Huntz and Cantrip probably needed the possibility of Rodemy or Silver being scum to even approach 2 mislynches.
But if both town I guess one of Silver or Shadow absolutely had to die last night.
So I guess they didn't actually have that many choices.
And we save Hunt if town and Lynch Cantrip tomorrow.

will do. I won't get nk'd though. Scum won't kill me and die. They can't chance it.
I copped Rodemy, figured that if he was scum, he was probably the least likely to get lynched. His ability was called whiskey.
Given that his ability had already been confirmed by Silver, why didn't you go with me or Hunt? Rod would have been at the very, very, VERY bottom of my rolecop target list.

It weirds me out that DV, Hunt, and Cantrip all got on board with a fast lynch of hunt despite silver being dead.
Well...since we can't all three be scum, what does that tell you?
@Cantrip
If Rodemy had been alive today then we would have gotten to see both yours and hunts role/alignments anyway, so I went for the tinfoil play. I was guessing that if he was scum, then silver might not have gotten the whole story.
And obviously; only one of you is scum, so it's just kind of weird.
Either:
-DV went for a derp clear play
-Hunt went for a self vote clear play
-you sheeped and hoped no one would catch it in time?

But...we had one scum, so Rod and Silver couldn't be scum together, and Silver had mod-confirmed info that said he and Rod were lovers. So he and Rod were significantly more likely to be killed than any of the rest of us.
I can totally understand you not rolecopping me if you thought I was a likely NK, but Hunt claimed Bomb, so I would have thought him to be IDEAL for a rolecop target.

As in, I hoped someone (not me) would hammer Hunt and then you'd have to decide to governize without the benefit of Silver's knowledge? If that were the case, why would I explicitly announce that I wanted to hear from you and Tom before doing anything? That would be the perfect time for scum to lurk and not comment, hoping that you or Tom came in with the lolhammer. Or even to hammer and go whoops, later (given that two town had already made that mistake). It feels off that you're attacking all three of us like this.
Except...you're likely cleared on the basis of two kills when there were only two scum AND having used your ability. So it's GOT to be Hunt or DV. Hmm...
@Shadow: What was the thing that was not true that you referenced in 1989?
But...we had one scum, so Rod and Silver couldn't be scum together, and Silver had mod-confirmed info that said he and Rod were lovers. So he and Rod were significantly more likely to be killed than any of the rest of us.
Mod confirmed info =/= all the info necessarily. But yeah, it was tinfoil hat theory.

Hmm, more that you wanted permission to move forward...it seems risky for you as scum to hammer there, but at the same time there isn't much of a play that you have at this point? Also, I wasn't attacking anyone, it just weirded me out because that's a pretty big oversight.

Nope. DV is cleared for the same reason, proved his watch/track targets N1.
Unless scum!Tom gave town!Shadow a governor ability (or unless scum can kill AND perform an action), it's Hunt.
Nope. Hunt targeted Tom N1.
So either scum could kill and perform an action N1, or Tom is scum and gave Shadow a governor ability.
In which case, I think it's between Shadow and Hunt, and I'm leaning Shadow.
This post makes no sense. What are you actually saying?
Oh, carp, right. I was trying to figure out if night actions confirmed who made the second kill, but all that logic goes out the window if Nacho was a PGO, doesn't it? Nacho could have killed Ophidia and been targeted by Zionite and that alone could explain both kills. So never mind the blathering idiot in the corner...
I'm thinking that going to a 12 hour night with a no lynch might actually be one of the better plays.
I can get behind this. No matter what we decide, I'd like to have 2/3 of the votes to prove that they both function.
@DV/Cantrip: How is this a good idea at all? This takes us from 2 Lynches and 1 kill to 1 lynch and 1 kill.
Whut? We're at 4-1. If we mislynch and someone dies, we're at 2-1. If we no lynch and someone dies we're at 3-1. Either way we're at mylo tomorrow.
Eh, but a mislynch and a kill does narrow the field. And if the last scum decides not to kill to keep it at 3-1 toMorrow, we have more investigative opportunities.
Hmm.
So I know that I'm town, but you guys don't have that guarantee. My ability is nice, but it won't actually do anything to save us, will it? On the other hand, we have DV-Watcher/Tracker, Shadow-Rolecop, Hunt-Bomb, and Tom-Genie. With 3/4 of those roles being true and town, you guys ought to be able to sort out the last scum. And I've already demonstrated that I'm bad at this, and I get even worse when it's down to me and two other players, one of which is town and one of which is scum. I think I've chosen wrong 2/2 times I've been in that situation.
So I think I'm the optimal lynch choice. Take me out of the equation and then win the game. My money's on Hunt or Shadow, then DV, with Tom as least likely (which probably means Tom is scum, smh).
I could get behind a shadow lynch w with the Rolecop being traditionally mafia aided. Cantrip as a double voter AND scum would make me cry, because being a scum double voter myself recently, gives me PTSD. No more scum double voters please.
Tom and his role seems super geared towards town.
DVs is just kinda meh, could go either way.
The random role stuff throws all of this out if whack and is really pointless to speculate on.

Silver dying nerfs significantly.
But at least they (probably) only had one kill.
Keeping what I gave last night quiet. I assume the recipient will agree and that's the last I'll say about it.
