Sonasland is a small kingdom nestled in hills. Rolling green plains intersect lush forests and fresh-tilled fields, and speckled with castles and towns. The kingdom embodies the traditional tenets of feudalism: it's got peasants, knights, landed gentry, and the sundry other merchants and hangers on that keep the world turning. The biggest castle (and therefore, the biggest town) sits by the sea. It smells of fish - but in a good, healthy way.
King Arthur (no relation) sits on the throne. He has overseen an explosion of prosperity and growth, achieved through reasonable economic policy, an open door to foreigners (or at least their money), and a general scaling back of the kind of ruinously costly warfare so endemic to traditional medieval institutions. Beloved by almost all, king Arthur has one major detractor: his extravagantly-mustachioed, exaggeratedly evil younger brother prince Maldorvo. Deeply envious of the king, Maldorvo plots and conspires at every turn - seeking to claim the throne by any means necessary.
For the occasion of his 20th jubilee, the king has hosted an enormous commemoration: guests from all over the continent have been invited to revel in the festivities of feasting, drinking, dancing, or a combination of thereof. In the hospitable great hall of the castle, the king mingles with nobles and peasants alike. The feast spills outward in a swell of good-natured drunken revelry, jugglers and troubadours dazzle party-goers and everyone joins in singing regardless of key. Even prince Maldorvo was seen to crack a (sinister) smile.
Ecophagy stands alone this time, bringing you Low Fantasy Mafia. Bucking the trend, this game features 90% less moral-questioning bleakness, and is intended to be a light-hearted irreverent pastiche of classic fantasy tropes. Some of the jokes might even be funny.
This is a Normal game (and low complexity at that) for 16* players. This makes it a good place for any newer or rusty returning players looking to test their mettle in a larger game than a Basic. It has been reviewed by Silvercrys and Megiddo.

If I have one 'tell' in this game, it is that I always want my actions to make sense from a town perspective, and sometimes I can trip myself up on this(such as the inconsistency between my redirection target choices that Killjoy pointed out). I thought that you would work out that I was the SK, Killjoy..that was a constant paranoia for me. You were correctly on me for soooo long and seemed so close. You did a good job there.
