I'm in the market for +1 burn spell and I've seen Tribal Flames / Galvanic Blast picking up stock. I wasn't too fond of Tribal Flames as I've found it was Fire Ambush (Or even Shock) the majority of the time and difficult to get 4 damage in the early game.
I'm wondering if this card could have a place in cube, as the front half equates to 2 damage most of the time and it's VERY easy to get 4+ damage in almost any tri color deck. There's also been an enormous surge in good discard outlets, which makes the flashback slightly more worthwhile for consideration than a normal burn spell.
I think this card is pretty awful since it's worse than every Shock / Volcanic Hammer / Incinerate variant sans flashback. This basically would only go in a 4-5 color deck, and Tribal Flames is much more cost efficient then. Firebolt works because the primary mode is so much more important than the flashback mode since it'll be cast for the cheaper option much more often than not.
There's like 10+ variants of Shock / Volcanic Hammer / Incinerate that I can name right off the bat, all which I would cube before this. I'd look into some of the lesser played variants of those cards first like Seal of Fire / Play with Fire / Roil Eruption / Twin Bolt / Purphoros's Intervention first.
This would be ok at maybe 720 if you are looking to add some redundancy for the Domain archetype. I think Seal of Fire is underrated. Id play that over this in most cases.

For what it's worth, I have played this card in cube at some point (don't remember details or why). It's definitely better than it looks, and I remember being surprised by getting four and five damage on the flashback in decks not built to get that. Treasures, Vivid lands, and such. But it's still not worth playing over any real competition. And Firebolt is still better.
