Hello, I need help with a ruling. Me and my mates play SUPER casual, and ran across a situation that confused me. Its a 3 player game, free for all, and for simplistic purposes, we'll just call us Player 1, player 2, and player 3. Player 1 controls Mind's Dilation . Player 2 controls Erayo, Soratami Ascendant flipped. I am player 3, and I'm screwed. I cast my first spell, which of course is countered. What happens next? Does player 1 get my top card? If its a non land spell, does he get to cast it? Is it countered because its the FIRST of his spells cast that turn? Thank you for your time.
When you cast your first spell the Mind's Dilation and Erayo will trigger. The exact order the abilities resolve depends on turn order, but it doesn't really matter for your scenario. Player 1's Mind Dilation will trigger and if they cast the exiled spell it will trigger the Erayo again as Erayo triggers for each player on each turn.
Erayo, Soratami Ascendant + Minds Dilation ruling
