Another candidate for the token might be Huntmaster of the Fells's wolf I feel he's a pretty iconic Transformer, probably the only werewolf from the original batch to see anything like serious play. Speaking of wolf tokens, Mayor of Avabruck never saw much but he makes puppies too.
They could also potentially include some chase card from Ixalan too. Maybe the new Gaea's Cradle one--people seem pretty jazzed about that one. If they are planning a The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale one, as some are speculating, that might potentially also go in..
the thing about transform cards is that there are no hugely valuable cards they could put in to help sell it. Or even hugely played cards
Flip Jace and Archangel Avacyn are about the most expensive transform cards right now. This FTV won't be crazy, but that is alright and means you don't have to pay crazy marked up prices for no reason.

Archangel Avacyn can be had for under $4 at the moment. It is not anywhere near one of the most expensive transform card right now. Garruk Relentless and Westvale Abbey are about the same price, and Huntmaster is about twice as much. Gisela, the Broken Blade is about $1 more expensive.
Vault cards are foil, no? Foil Archangel Avacyn's still over $20.
Though heaven forfend this set actually be priced anywhere near a level where it's bought by players who want to play the cards rather than hoard and invest.
Each of the cards is supposed to represent different aspect of transforming, therefore all of the origin walkers are a no-go. I do have few predictions, however:
Seems like a legit list. I would venture a guess that the #15 card would be Huntmaster of the Fells though versus a preview from Rivals - especially considering the fact that there is a token in the set.

To get a Grimlock, it's $50 or more right now. With the popularity of Dinosaurs, this might be a good place to increase the supply of this card that is going to skyrocket with commander players.
As far as the token, I think Garruk Relentless is a shoo-in for this product, and thesetwo would make a pretty neat doublesided token.
The fact that the 2/2 side also works with Huntmaster of the Fells leads me to believe that this guy is right on the money. The safest bets for this set imho are Garruk, Huntmaster, Delver and Jace. I also feel confident that Elbrus will make it, as it's both unique and flashy.

FTV foils are regarded nowhere near as desirable as pack foils, and usually settle pretty close to their non-foil counterparts. So you should count a Linvala as in the 5-6 range.

This looks reasonable, except we will probably get 1 card from this block at most. IIRC, we don't get much FTV cards that are in standard (I think Shivan Dragon and Serra angel?). The price is at around $60, which is reasonable.
I don't understand what the point of this set is. There is only, what, 50 transform cards total? (I don't have the means to search for all the transform cards right now) It is like doing a best of album for a band that has only released two records. Whyyyyyyyyyyy

Keep in mind that these are cards that have minimal chance at reprint outside of other DFC sets and maybe a DFC heavy masters set because they're logistically locked out of regular sets and precons. While calling an expensive FTV set a reprint is a big stretch, this is as close to one as we're likely to get without a concerted effort to boost the number of DFC in circulation.

There's 101 (98 if you could meld cards as a single card).

Okay, so there is 101 transform cards. Now lets reduce that number to the relevant transform cards by removing the majority of irrelevant limited chaff commons and uncommons, and even some rares that never saw play casually or competitively. Being generous, let's just say that is a pool of 30 cards to choose from to make a top 15 essentially. I mean, the set makes itself and from what I understand, transform wasn't a popular mechanic for the majority of players. So again, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

When did this happen?
Legends....and Relics(?), I believe.
Sword of Body and Mind was first spoiled in FtV: Relics
Having an Ixalan transform card in there would be very cool. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

The token will most likely be the 2/2 wolf at least. I still hold out hope that it may be a token from a Rivals of Ixilan preview card.
