ETB effects don't trigger after Iconic Masters release.
ETB effects didn't trigger under a Moon, even before this change. Abilities triggered on a land entering the battlefield (like, say, Khalni Garden's token creation) were suppressed by Moons before, too.
The change is that as-enters-the-battlefield clauses no longer occur either. Now, that Khalni Garden still doesn't make a Plant - but now it doesn't enter the battlefield tapped either.
You must be selectively remembering your own posts. It was you right, posting the gif of the table flip?
That was my point. It's not adding anything to the discussion. You'd have been better off not saying anything, or maybe having a go at phrasing your opinion in a critical, useful way wherever possible.
I always find it curious that people take such issue with complaints and criticisms about spoiled sets "not adding anything to the discussion" but have no problem with the endless completely worthless "OMG THIS CARD IS IN THE SET I NEED TO BUY A BOX RIGHT NOW!!!!" posts.
Well let's be honest, naive empty negativity, there because someone just wants to vent and doesn't really have a filter, is harmful.
The same can't really be said for naive excitement and positivity.
I'd have thought that was fairly obvious? These aren't two sides of the same coin, they have different social effects entirely.
Anyway that's that.
I'm excited that aether vial is seeing a reprint. I already have mine, but as a card that's always had immense casual interest it'll be great for more people to get their hands on them
I disagree that unfiltered naive positivity about consumer products is a good thing, especially when we're talking about a consumer product that is designed to exploit gambling impulses. A hype echo chamber benefits no one except Hasbro shareholders.

Except we're here on this forum to get excited about the content of an upcoming fantasy game release, and maybe share the odd anecdote or whatever. I'm not here to push some gambling Impulse driven agenda. At most I might say I'll be tracking down a certain specific card... I mean there's levels to how deep one should consider this stuff and I think we may have crossed a line here. I think the 'unfiltered negativity' comment I made was loosely fair considering why people might want to talk on this forum (bearing in mind that this is a hobby, something people invest time and emotion into, beyond the financial stuff. The last thing anyone wants to see or hear is someone trashing a part of your hobby that you actually quite enjoy! That's my point, and the same can't be said for unfiltered positivity when looking at this whole thing on those terms)
Shall we call it a day? I don't think we should be flooding the thread with this nonsense. If you want to continue it, private message me or something, just for everyone else's sanity!
