All five dragons for Kamigawa, all with new art, at rare.
So this would be the first fail of the set for me, I love the Kamigawa Dragon Cycle but that new art seems like a clear downgrade to me, this could mark the first time I'd ever be sad to open up another Kokusho.
Edit: This leads me to wonder why would WotC go market this set as Iconic and then go out of its way to make these Iconic cards unrecognizable to the player base, seems like an oxymoron.
Alternate perspective here. I LOVE the new art and if they are going to reprint these I want it to be with new art. Not sure what you're suggesting about them being iconic and having alternate art. I can't see how it would confuse anyone...
If their market is for a player base that is familiar with the cards - which it is - there will be no problem recognizing what these dragons are. we are enfranchised enough to understand their history, and have been around long enough to have seen the cards receive multiple reprints with the same tired old art. There is no confusing the cards via card information - that is why they are iconic. Even the art itself, while fresh, still depicts the dragons in a similar likeness.
Now, if they are marketing to a player base that isn't familiar with the cards, those players wouldn't know the difference anyway...
So, a large part of iconic masters is reprinting Masterpieces, Expeditions, etc.? I can get on board with that as I don't enjoy the frames on those cards much
This is exactly how I am feeling about this set currently. Any Ixalan spoilers is on the back burner in my mind. I can't take all this excitement. My head is going to explode.

Well, a large part of masterpieces was reprinting in-demand cards from Magic's history, excepting reserved list. A large part of any masters set is reprinting in-demand cards from Magic's history, excepting reserved list. That there's a lot of crossover should be unsurprising. Masterpieces didn't exactly flood the market with staples.

And urabrask.
So the card price fell by 50%, so I guess the reprint worked out. I play a lot of EDH and see way more Crypts then I did before its reprint.

Aaaand, apparently I didn't realize how expensive Vorinclex has gotten. Nice to realize that my two playsets are no longer worth only $40 in total.
