Urza having normal eyes with pupils would be a mistake considering I can't find any other art of him where his eyes aren't white including the newer Urza's Rage from Phyrexia vs Coalition.
Sorry to disappoint you, but he has green eyes here, it's just hard to see in card size.

Ah, but no pupils. Either that greenness is just a big of magical energy, or it is a mistake, because Urza hasn't had irises, pupils, or sclera since Mishra died around 64 AR. I think we're around 4600 AR or something, so about 45 hundred years ago. Urza's Rage takes place around 4205, so he hadn't had normal eyes for as long as it would take to get to 2017 in Earth years from when Noah was on his Ark.
How certain are we that his contact lenses don't have pupils and tints? I mean, they're not even legendary. He could have multiple sets of contact lenses, some with pupils, some with green tints...
The thing about Urza surviving decapitation isn't just an Un-set thing... he does live on for a while as a disembodied head during Apocalypse, before Karn has to harvest the powerstones keeping him alive to complete the Legacy.
The main difference is that he's survived and stayed as a head in Un-world. (In normal magic he's super dead, I think? Not very well-versed in old lore)
In "canon" Magic the head is dead. Un-land is the only place Urza is still alive.
How funny would it be if the first card to explicitly represent Urza was his dead head, though?
It won't be, though: Blind Seer is a disguised Urza, although if you mean the first Urza card with his name in the title, I don't doubt that'll be the case.

My personal headcanon (pun intended) is that at some point during the events of Time Spiral, a version of Urza's head from a "bad future" -- one where he never died and the Legacy was never completed -- found his way into the current timeline, and planeswalked away to a plane of mad scientists.
Seriously, as much as I would love to see a squirrel planeswalker, I think I would be even happier if the set's planeswalker was Urza's head.
The basic story behind the appearance of Urza's eyes is that as an old school 'walker, his entire body is basically made of pure energy, the appearance of which he can control. Normally he appears like a human, especially when dealing with other humans. However, when his concentration lapses for any reason, such as stress, calling upon a large amount of magic, his true eyes - the Mightstone and Weakstone are usually the first to show through.
What do we think the color identity of Urza's Head will be?
I suspect that we're only getting 2 PW's in UST, and Squirrel is probably going to be mono-G. If he is, then Urza's Head is likely WUBR for color balance.
I hope that that's the case, because I feel that Urza is the only character in Magic whose personality is definitively four colors.
Additionally, what are we thinking of his abilities being? I'm willing to bet that his ult will be something along the lines of "destroy all permanents." Because killing his allies is what Urza does best.

I'm now going to be super disappointed if that isn't the name.
Sets most likely done and finished before that episode aired.
