Dude - the reminder text is golden (and it's not the first card in the set with great reminder text - I'm looking at you Ninja). Never thought I'd see a card that had to remind you not to hit other people/players.

At release day drafts, this card will be nuts. Just get up and run down the rows. Pure life gain spells suck but 20 life for 1 mana? Might be getting there.
I like this card, but it clearly has the "playing the game at your local card shop" mentality like the other cards that rope in random players. After pre-release, I'll most likely be playing with friends at home, so these kinds of cards are less exciting to me.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
It's a White card from the Selesnya faction, Crossbreed Labs I think it's called. So, of course, it's going to be all about the community that White is known for.
Wizards says that they want to reduce "loading screens" in Magic by removing shuffling.
Literally makes a card that stops the game for half a minute.
kden
Still like the design tho.
I know right, think of all the sanctioned tournaments that will be slowed down by this Constructed-legal Magic: The Gathering card.
Oh wait
Honestly, I can't help but laugh at the people who complain that these silver-bordered cards are breaking Wizards rules and guidelines for black-bordered Magic sets.
"You said that storm cards and spells that make tokens with names of nontoken cards are high on the Storm Scale, why did you print Crow Storm???"
"Because the Storm Scale applies to Standard-legal sets, and this isn't even legal in any sanctioned format?"
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

Oh wait
Oh yeah, all the fun about sitting and waiting a minute because your opponent drafted two Gimme Fives and he's walking around the game store while you twiddle your thumbs.
Oh wait.
The card would be much better if it was like 10 seconds and gave 2 life. It would also reduce the variance of playing in a game store filled with 20 people (which may net you an absurd amount of life) and playing around with friends (where this card will be useless and unplayable).
Because nothing says "fun" like "card either unplayable or broken depending on the scenario", amirite?
Who's to say the game has to stop during the next 30 seconds? In a multiplayer game you can pass the turn and go around the room.
Would be fun if you attack then play this while opponent thinks about blocking.

Oh my god, you're actually complaining about the gameplay of a silver bordered card.

Cause it high-fived at least one Crossbreed Labs creature.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Well, if I buy Magic cards, it's not so I can fill my binders. And if I pay for a non-competitive, non-legal supplemental set, of freaking course I should care about gameplay. Why are you even posting in a forum dedicated to a tabletop game, if not to discuss gameplay?
So far, this is the only "fun to read, bad to play" card in Unstable IMO. At least Countdown At One is a Rare, costs a lot, is not a very good one in Limited and makes the current game easier to end.

You... you know this isn't meant for regular FNM, right?
Crap, this set has a card similar to Shahrazad, one of the most banned cards ever...
Anyway, cute way to force more actual interaction with your fellow players.
Hopefully your hands aren't sticky/orange after doing this.
