Animate Library looks cute, and definitely good for a Battle of Wits deck.
I like how the enchantment dies instead of your library-
that makes this much less Thought Lash-y.
Momir Vig, Simic Visionary

Animate Library is going to be ridiculously huge most of the time. Sure makes mill a lot more relevant.
Cue people complaining about Novellemental "only" being funny for its goofy name and artwork instead of forcing its controller to do weird things during a game.

Hmmm... how is this going to work in conjunction with Split Screen?
I guess you could only enchant one of your libraries in that case.
Novellamental is another one of those "oh, this is a black bordered card" cards, but the art is hilarious.
Animate Library...YES.
But what if you played Split Screen after Animate Library? Would you chose one library to be enchanted or would they all be enchanted?
It specifically says on Split Screen "If anything refers to a library, choose one." so I'm inclined to believe you'd end up with one enchanted library and three that aren't.
What happens with a Mind Control? Can you draw cards from a library that isn't under your control?

My apologies, children, for I am afraid I cannot save you all.
What if you animate an opponent's library and then steal it with something like Zealous Conscripts? Do they lose next time they draw? What if you steal it altogether with something like Control Magic? Can you draw cards from their deck? Oh, and this card is ridiculously broken in Commander.

Its enchant "your library" so you can't animate an opponent's library. Its kind of vague on whether or not it stops being 'your library' if an opponent gains control of it, if this is the case, which is probably likely, then the enchantment falls off.

Corner case, what if your opponent steals your library and Animate Library with the same effect. Can you still draw from a library you don't control?

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)

The card says enchant your library. So how I would interpret is that even though you control the enchantment and you control the library it's enchanting, you don't own the library and therefore it's still enchanting an illegal target because the library isn't "yours."

I'm pretty sure the joke behind cards like Novellamental is they're doing a five-color common cycle of cards that have been functionally reprinted way too frequently.

It could be interpreted that way but they are also potentially reprinted so frequently because they're simple designs that make limited work. The complexity of Augments and the booster space eaten by contraptions means that there's a strong need in this limited environment for simple and cards that you can toss in the main deck without hesitation.

Alright - what happens if you phase out your library-creature with say Reality Ripple
It doesn't leave the field so the replacement effect of the Aura doesn't happen... if you try to draw a card... then what? You aren't trying to draw from an empty library, but a nonexistent one so I don't think it's a game loss... can you still draw from a phased library?

My inclination is to say that No. You can't. Phasing specifically states that you treat things that are phased out as if they didn't exist (if it doesn't exist you can't draw from or in any way interact with), but that phasing doesn't trigger any leaves/enters the battlefield abilities. Your animated library would phase out and because it's not technically "leaving the battlefield" Animate Library's exile clause wouldn't trigger so you just wouldn't have a library until it phased back in.

Battle of Wits anyone?
Perhaps the most overpowered card in the set next to crow storm

If anyone gets the reference in the flavour text please share
The story of the "crow".
I love using the library as a creature. That's awesome!
