1) I activate Mangara of Corondor, targeting opponent's, say, Skullclamp, which puts that trigger on the stack.
2) With that ability still on the stack, I activate a flicker effect, say Roon of the Hidden Realm, targeting my own Mangara of Corondor, which puts that trigger on the stack.
3) The stack then resolves, with Roon's trigger resolving first, exiling my Mangara of Corondor. Then the Mangara trigger resolves, exiling the Skullclamp. Mangara is already in exile and cannot be exiled again.
4) I move to end step, and my Mangara returns to play.
Exile Duplicant under the wave then exiled itself and he re-enters exiling a creature....repeat...repeat. Creature based decks at the table hated me.

Hey guys so I've actually moved on from commander on to 60 card decks so I don't have any commander decks.
Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)
An interaction that my friend shared with me, which he is playing in his Zedruu deck I think, is Homeward Path + Perplexing Chimera + Prophet of Kruphix. I don't know if you've considered this before, but it creates a type of spell lock that is really hard to get out of, for your opponents. It's also selective, which means that you don't have to take the spell if you don't want it. It's almost like having a cool type of counter lock, but not quite. You can get control of a creature spell for a limited time, if you need it, but being able to continuously gain control of non-creature spells is quite useful. And the neat thing is that you already have the engine, excepting the land, which can be an easy inclusion.
Personally, I have a love/hate relationship with Bant. I have a deep respect for it because of its broken ability to abuse ETB effects and it has incredible synergy with every card, it seems. My friend, who played a Jenara deck, dominated our tables with his Bant deck. I love Bant because it forced me to become an much better player. But I hate it because I still remember losing so many times to his deck. It was pretty unreal for the first month or two how much our table would lose to him.

That's a great soft lock in the deck I've been abusing. However Roon bounces the chimera back to our side end of turn anyway so we don't need the land, same works for gilded drake.
Roon gets great locks until opponents wipe this way. Gives you lots of advantage and time to prep for that with cards like Saffi/Revallark.

I understand that Roon does the same exact thing as the Path. I'm merely suggesting that this could be a useful addition to the deck because Roon isn't always going to alive to take advantage of this interaction. Roon has the inherent advantage of being fleshy, and there are quite a number of ways that he can die because of his fleshy-ness. Lands are usually a little harder to target and destroy. Perhaps your play group is different and there aren't as many theft and Bribery's running around as there are in mine, but Homeward Path usually finds a home in decks in my playgroup. I know personally that if I were playing against Roon I would kill him basically on sight because of my prior experience with Bant. By the way, I enjoy your Mimeoplasm Primer a lot. Well done, sir.
Homeward Path does not do the exact same thing as Roon. If we steal a creature with the Chimera, Roon will get us the Chimera back and we get to keep the stolen creature. If we use Homeward Path, our opponent gets his creature back. That is a huge difference.
Pretty much this.
I don't run path due to how often I steal things and since I run so much blink (even without Roon) I can just bounce it to my side if need be.

What are your thoughts on mana doublers like Mirrari's Wake and Mana Reflection? In my experience casting one can draw a lot of hate but if you untap with them (which can be really soon with a prophet or a seedborn)then you can just run away with the game at that point.
Crystal shard has given me good bvalue by allowing me to recast creature spells or save key creatures, Stick a Value creature on mimic vat and just recast it every turn (love putting sad robot on this) and I have won games by just recurring Thragtusk, 5 life and a 3/3 beast each blink is a lot of value.

Hi Fulminous,
The mana doublers you listed indeed good cards, but they feel like a "win more" for me - generally if I have something to do with that much mana, I'm usually already winning anyway. For the amount of hate they would draw my way, I'm not sure if I want to use them.
Crystal Shard would be good if it blinked the creature; however, I have to then recast the creature. It feels too slow for my list.
Thragtusk is a great card and works well in the deck, but I replaced it because of my current meta (cutthroat, combo oriented). If I were to play in a more relaxed meta, or one that frowned upon combos, I think Thragtusk would find a spot in my deck again.
Mimic Vat is an interesting option. Have you had much luck with it? The only issue I see is how to trigger it - I feel like my opponents would not kill off one of my value creatures if I have Mimic Vat in play.
I tried Strionic Resonator for a while, but it felt too slow for me. Granted I only cast it a few times while testing it, but I have not missed it once I cut it. What has been your experience with it?
9/16/14 Changelog:
+Sower of Temptation, - Control Magic.
Reasoning: Sower is the better card, but I had not come across one that was available to me!
Unrelated: Not sure if we can talk about upcoming Khans cards yet, but Clever Impersonator looks really good. Not sure what to take out yet, perhaps Progenitor Mimic.
Anything else people are excited for in a Bant bounce deck?
I had fun last weekend with my Roon deck. I had Gilded Drake in play and ended up taking two of my opponents commander's, Iroas and Erebos. It is great getting two indestructible enchantments in play alongside my own - Kruphix and Ephara.
While it's a "mean" card I absolutely love how Cataclysm has so much synergy with this deck >:]
It's become one of the best cards in my deck

Have you guy considered spellskite? His attributes follow all or our benchmarks:
-Recur-able with Sun Titan
-Recur-able with Reveilark
The Spellskite seams like a cheap way to make your board even more resilient by making targeted spells less of a factor
Hi Fulminous,
Spellskite is a very powerful card, but this deck is already pretty resilient to targeted removal, as we should be able to blink away the target in response. In a meta filled with more targetted removal, I could see an argument for including it in your list.
About Clever Impersonator, I'm continuing to play Progenitor Mimic because I can bounce him every time. Clever Impersonator lose creature status if clone a non-creature permanent and not have a populate effect itself.
I'm setting up a new Roon revising my old idea. When the list is ready I share it with you.
About drawing, You play only three card in your actual deck. How many times you remain with few cards? Your list seems strictly related to Prime Speaker Zegana drawing abilities, what happen when you lose her?
I'm thinking to put almost four or five drawing cards in my list: Prime Speaker Zegana Mulldrifter Fact or Fiction Consecrated Sphinx and/or Arcanis the Omnipotent.
About the last two cards I know they haven't no EoB effects and I want to play one of them to avoid Torpor Orb effects. I need always to have a B plan for worst situations. (i.e. I'm playing in deck Wickerbough Elder, you can bounce it and can destroy enchantments without use EoB effects).

I dont like so much Wickerbough Elder, i think he way too expensive and his ability cost expecific mana, i like more Qasali Pridemage, he cheaper, he has exalted and his abikty cost 1 coloress and you can bring him back with Reveillark

Hey all! Sorry it's been a while, since Khans dropped I've been playing primarily standard and have spent quite a bit of time testing for and playing a few bigger tournaments. Finally got some EDH games in over the past few weeks.
That being said, the Commander 2014 spoilers have begun, and it looks like there will be a lot to discuss! I'm not positive that we're allowed to talk about them here yet, so if not then mods feel free to let me know. Otherwise, here's a list of cards I'd like to try out. Let me know if there are cards you think will need to be tested that I missed.
Nahiri, the Lithomancer - not on theme, but so powerful that I can see an argument for adding an equipment package to this deck.
Myriad Landscape - very nice fixing. We already have access to some good fixing, so this might not make the cut, but it's worth consideration.
Gravesifter - probably not something I want to give my opponents access to, especially since we aren't running a particular creature type.
As to the previous discussion, I think we all know how annoying Torpor Orb is and what answers are available to us. I'm lucky in that my meta does not have a deck that regularly runs Humility.
I still didn't test a copy of Clever Impersonator, but it's on my list of things to test (TBH I forgot about it until yesterday). How has it been working out, for those of you that have played with/against it?
I've honestly liked Phyrexian Metamorph more than impersonator. The double blue makes it harder to cast early on in most cases. I can copy with three generic mana early. And the most important targets for my deck are creatures and artifacts anyway so I haven't bothered with impersonator.
I also am making heavy changes to my deck to welcome Titania. I can't wait to cataclysm/Armageddon with her out.
