I've been playing around with these 4 cards as the base of a Sultai or Golgari aggro deck for the past week. When it works, it works disgustingly well. It seems to pair up best with support cards like Traverse the Ulvenwald to ensure smooth mana and fetch a small toolbox late game, and CoCo because CoCo. Beyond that I'm not sure if I'm just not building it correctly or if it's still waiting on another card to come help.
Actually glad somebody had the same idea as I did. I'm actually going Sultai and running Sidisi, Brood Tyrant as my mill engine. Running a zombie theme in it.
I have a similar deck for Modern that I need to adjust for Frontier as soon as it gains some traction in my area. Stitchwing Skaab and/or Advanced Stitchwing are more options to trigger Amalgams and get to delirium. They conflict with CoCo unfortunately. I am trying Advanced Stitchwing as a 2 of currently.
A full decklist of what y'all have been working with would be great.
Amalgam needs two things to work. An outlet of mill or discard to shove him in the yard and a recursion engine to keep him coming back. My issue with amalgam in frontier (and his supporting cast) is how quickly he gets shut down by anafenza, the foremost. She blocks your threats for days and kills the engine. Yes you can remove her/discard her but she's just as easy to recur or coco.
Imho maybe ditch scrapheap? run renegade rallier. anafenza owns other GY strats. Rallier gives you an other enabler and you can run thalia's lieutenant to outgrow the opposition who is also a fantastic rallier target. At that point your creature base is mostly human. You can run a few instants and sorceries (duress) to help enable delirium. Lands and creatures are a given card type for the GY. Heck walking ballista is a bad coco target but will take anafenza counters all day while giving an easy outlet for delirium. You have a choice in 3 strong artifact creatures. Also, amalgam loves to be sacrificed.
Will try and post a decklist later. But my phone isn't the best for it *no computer*. But yea I forgot Foremost is a thing. Damn. Also Tormod's Crypt is a thing too to watch out for.
Actually, there are basically two lists right now that sort of do things with the graveyard. One is abzan and uses Renegade Rallier in place of the amalgam, while the other one is the sultai build. I've been working with the abzan one, but it's sort of expensive due to the fact all to most of the cards are in standard at the moment. Both lists can get up to 7 power on the board on turn 3 and if you include things like Freewheel liberator as well it gets nuts.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
I would recommend playtesting all these cards. Fatal push can take out anafenza. lily, baby Jace, and the charm can all feed the GY while interacting with your opponent.

Has anyone else toyed with these guys together?
