Hey there, I'm having a tough time finding my deck that I'll stick to. I started out with affinity, but got tired of it quickly because I grew tired of pretty much gold fishing. Next came bant eldrazi and eldrazi tron. Bant eldrazi wasn't as fun as I thought it would be and I hate tron. Next was knightfall. Which got boring do I added the Vizier combo which got boring too. I would love to have it be competitive but fun with multiple lines of play. Also not Aggro. I want to interact a lot. I am on a budget but not really. Just no goyfs and the like. I have bant lands but that's not mandatory. I'm not opposed to combo but don't want to goldfish
Please help, I love modern but don't know my deck.
Maybe try a Jeskai Control deck with Nahiri/Emrakul.
Yeah, you want something UWR, and you can go any number of ways. Counter Burn, Geist, Spirits, Nahiri, or even Kiki if you want to slum it outside the Tier decks.
Is there a deck where I can play the most boring, grindy, go wide deck that takes over 20 turns for any action? Something that can just go wide and wider and wider until there's 40 creatures on the battlefield?

I've got a modern PPTQ coming up in a week. I don't play much modern, but I have a large collection and access to most cards played in the format. I'm looking for a deck that can take down the tournament that is relatively straightforward since I've only got a week to learn and practice with the deck on MTGO. Turns or Mono Green Devotion are probably the most competitive of those,.
Turns is probably lower Tier 2 if your list is good. If your list is good, Mono Green is probably upper Tier 3.

in fact, with the URx manabase you could jump from one to another, even grixis deathshadow if you want.
the 2 best manabase in modern are UR and BG, but i think that BG is more expensive (tarmo, liliana)
