Your claim that it has a bigger share online is most certainly false. That spreadsheet contains all data made available by MTGO, so it doesn't lie. Unless you're talking about Cockatrice, but no-one takes that into consideration when formulating tier lists. The same goes for 50+ people events vs FNMs.
WEith such a huge card pool aren't there any more sweet cards we missed?
Depends how tight you want to stay on the allies theme. If you want to stay strictly with them, then the card pool shrinks drastically. But if you want to think outside the box, then there might be something else out there.

There's no reason Gavony Township can't be thrown in here as a 1 or 2 of, cause sometimes games just don't go how we want them. I would keep with the Humans/Allies approach. Scavenging Ooze can be played on it's own merits, it's just that good. Not convinced Aether Vial fits in this deck, you want to play Scales turn one, and Vial turn one, you can't have both. Gemstone Cavern might be worth considering some slots for. If you're going to play Adaptive Automaton, I think Abzan Ascendancy is just better. It effectively does the exact same thing(Same amount of power buff), but keeps pressure by making tokens after the fact.
Abzan Falconer is definitely worth considering, turning all your guys into flyers for an alpha strike turn 4 would be GG in a lot of books.
EDIT: Also Throne of Geth deserves serious testing, it sacs itself, but a 2 mana permanent +2/+2 to the team is good.
Vastwood Hydra is one of the better Hydra's for this deck, in particular because when it dies each creature that gets a counter has the counter doubled with Scales.
Something I threw together. Just for fun testing. Remember that Graft creatures stack once for coming into play, and stack again when moving a counter.

Not sure about Gemstone Caverns, Seems like a poor man's Cavern of Souls. I like Township, it's just you want to be playing creatures with that mana, especially if you have allies in hand.
I think you are right about Vial though, I've jumped off that particular bandwagon.

Not convinced Aether Vial fits in this deck, you want to play Scales turn one, and Vial turn one, you can't have both.
Well, the point is to spread the utility 1-drops as wide as possible so you reliably start with one in hand. Also, holding Vial and Scales in an opener is fine. Turn 1 Vial, turn 2 Scales means you're a turn behind on a 2-drop, but can play another scales or vial-in a 1-drop. On turn 3 in that scenario, you can vial in a 2 drop AND drop another 2 drop, which in the end, only puts you behind on a swing on turn 3. And that's to say nothing of the uncounterability/flexibility of vial.

I think you are right about Vial though, I've jumped off that particular bandwagon.
Not sure why I was thinking Gemstone Cavern, I was just being cute. Gavony is something you like to have when you DON'T have allies in hand, you're not exactly overflowing with Card Advantage in this deck.

Still not sold on Vial, this is an aggro deck, not a tempo deck. There's a reason Goblins don't usually (some do) play Vial. Worth testing, I would just rather more 1 drop threats.
Abzan Ascendancy is three colors, which I'm moving away from. And unlike Automaton it doesn't pump Allies that you cast after it.
Any 2-drop Human Ally does the same thing as Throne of Geth (plus you get an extra body), which is why I cut it. I have Harabaz Druid in its slot now.
Fair that you're moving away from 3 colors, but don't underestimate the power of the lingering tokens. Is mayor of avabruck being considered? Automaton will just never get bigger so he's on the iffy side for me.
I think Retribution of the Ancients is amazing sideboard tech in this deck. It seems like it could single handedly win you the game against affinity. And the fact that you can choose the counters from among any number of creatures makes the card seem really good. In some situations we can use it like affinity uses Arcbound Ravager to gain value out of something that has been targeted with removal. This is yet another reason to splash black.
Also I highly recommend running Throne of Geth and Æther Vial together if you are going to run either of them.
This list has Throne of Geth because it has less allies and 16 creatures that benefit from proliferation more than they would from another ally. I like Gore-House Chainwalker because at worst he is a 3/2 for 1R, which is not the case for the other 2 drop non-ally humans that are competing for that same spot. The other thing he can do as well is pump Champion before the attack phase, which the other 2 cannot. He benefits from both Hardened Scales and Throne of Geth.
I would include Lightning Bolt, but I don't know what to cut.
I know Scavenging Ooze doesn't really help the themes you guys have going here, but what creature is better mid to late game? Imagine they survive your early attacks. He is a great mana sink. Life gainer for those grindy games. Must be SB if not main deck material.
I suggest him along with township. I prefer to have reach or resiliency in my decks. Township is a beast late game, mid game if you play the mana ally.
A one of root kin looks broken. Gives every dude you have 2 counters. Is a 5/5 or greater a lot of the times and beefs your guys a lot when they come into play from top decking. And later he breaks games open even more by grafting to them then taking the counter back.
Let's say lateish game you play him with 3 dudes out and just 1 scale. He brings 11 power to the board for just 4 mana. Ever 1 you pay after that brings another power to your board.
With 2 scales and 3 guys he brings 15 power to the board. And another 2 for every mana you spend.
Hellgrammites I think your deck needs Retribution of the Ancients. This has so many neat tricks you can do as well as just beating some decks. Twin can't combo out when you have this out. It will destroy affinity. But the cute tricks is to remove a counter from exp1 to give itself -1/-1. Assuming you have scales out. This will make it a 1/1 to evolve. Next turn it becomes a 4/4. Itll make geist almost unkillable. Only path can deal with it.
Ooze: I threw a pair into my list, we will see what happens.
Root Kin: not sure what creature you mean... Root-Kin Ally doesn't seem to do what you are describing.
Retribution: I think it's a great card, but I can't figure out a good manabase for all three Abzan colors and only 20 land.
Edit: So you meant Cytoplast Root-Kin. Cool card. Some people are not going to like that it costs four though.
I'm really liking how the deck is goldfishing. The recent additions might be pushing it more towards a midrange strategy than strict aggro, but I'm sorta okay with that. It should be a lot of fun to play when the cards come out for real.

thanks for the advice. I cut a throne and the two Oozes for three Sunptal Groves. I was a bit reluctant to use the Groves with so few basics, but maybe with the fetches as well it will be okay. Growth has proven to be a great finishing move, especially with Scales out.
Yes it does. Also makes stinger playable. Kinda. That probably is a different affinity variant though. This thread should probably be named harden allies or something cute. Mostly because we have so many ideas floating here. Some don't want to go the allies but would rather go the good stuff route. With ooze, blood thirst, and such.
Ooze: I threw a pair into my list, we will see what happens.

I'm one of those. If I'm playing a one drop it's from the sideboard vs Scapeshift or burn (Spike Feeder).
But, we get a treat in the form of Renegade Krasis. ETB - Put a +1/c on each crea with a +1/c. Sounds good to me.
A card I'm surprised no one is talking about - Savage Summoning. Anything that comes in with a oounter is Bolt-proof. You're not as worried about counterspells. Combat tricks are always fun.

You just spent 7 cards, and in the end you ended up with a vanilla 5/5 that can't block and a nearly vanilla 3/2. Krasis only triggers on an evolve, it is NOT ETB.
Savage Summoning is just terrible, really just bad. It is like Scout's Warning, but without card draw to replace itself. I mean combat trick with Cackler? You know he can't block anyways with Unleash right?
Please take the time to read the cards next time. I find play testing on MTGO or Cocktrice helps since it lets even play solitaire with a deck you create.
He listed a few cards and Savages uses. I'm sure he know what unleash is. You singled out something out just to be a dick.
hey, Jake
Renegade only puts counters on other creas when it evolves. It's not etb.
and apparently you can't play creatures anymore because there's to much removal. Consider what decks you're playing before using savage because you open yourself up to get 2 for 1ed.

I also see some potential for a Naya list as well because we get Stromkirk Noble, Rakdos Cackler, Bloodhall Ooze, and Wild Nacatl (who has the warrior subtype for those interested) as options for 1 drops. Right now our options for that 3rd 1 drop are not great. We also get Lightning Bolt, Lightning Helix, etc. And then at the 2 drop slot we get access to Gore-House Chainwalker, Akoum Battlesinger, Highland Beserker, and Stormblood Beserker. Then at the 3 drop slot we also get access Taurean Mauler who is a bolt proof human ally when Hardened Scales is in play. This seems like a decent Naya list:
4 Champion of the Parish
4 Oran-Rief Survivalist
4 Kazandu Blademaster
4 Gore-House Chainwalker
4 Taurean Mauler
1 Kabira Evangel
4 Path to Exile
4 Throne of Geth
