Yeah. Martyr Proc is my literal least favorite matchup to play. It's nearly unwinnable. Luckily, it makes up like .02% of the meta :). I kind of agree with you Stevomat about the new cards. I am really excited to try them, but I don't see them changing my deck too much. I just can't wait until Modern Horizons. I really think we will get some awesome model spells which work very well in our deck.
I did try c]Dreadhorde Anarchist[/c] in the deck a couple of time. He is really awesome and will definitely keep trying the war of the spark stuff, but I am really just waiting for Modern Horizons.
They are better than last years art. They aren't my personal preference. I am not a huge fan of Anime style art and am not a fan of foreign cards so they aren't really my style. However, I love any masterpiece, alternate art, borerless, etc style cards for people to really personalize their decks. Just because I don't like them doesn't mean other people won't love them. I always like to see fun different versions of cards for people to really make their deck feel like their own personal style. Very cool WOTC.
I printed some proxys so that I can playtest with Feather next week. This is what I am going to use:
The deck should run pretty smooth with 6 draw effects and 4 Scry effects. I chose Dawn Charm and Valorous Stance because it they're modal and still can target my creatures and therefore trigger Feather.
A friend from my LGS who'll help me with the playtesting has Zoo, GB Rock, Grixis Shadow, Burn and Infect. Let's see how this build will do against these decks.
Finally got to playtest yesterday.
Played 4 hours against several of my friend's decks and here's how it went:
2-1 vs Naya Zoo
2-2 vs Infect
0-4 vs Grixis Shadow
1-1 vs GB Rock
All in all not really impressive, especially considering that GDS is a good matchup for my usual Jeskai Delver deck.
Attacking with a double-striking Feather while drawing an extra card each turn felt great, but that only happened during 1 out of these 13 games.
Modal spells like Valorous Stance and Dawn Charm felt always good when I had them in hand. I might give (one of) them another chance in my usual deck.
And I am going to try the new Gideon besides my other little Gideon. I also want to give the new Chandra a try, even though she seems like she doesn't really fit my game plan. If they're good in testing, then I want the Japanese art Chandra and the Mythic Edition Gideon
I think you're trying Feather in the wrong deck, thus reducing the focus the deck. I'll build a Boros deck with growths/dreadhorde champion/swiftspear to compliment feather's gameplan.
Have you thought about Boros Charm, Curdbros? It targets your creature for double strike (I've given Geist's angel token double strike on numerous occasions) but it can also protect your board from wraths or be used as burn. Since you said that the modal spells felt good in your hand, I am suggesting another option. (I may or may not wanna try a couple charms in a Geist variant for that reason).
Speaking of Geist, I found a UWR Midrange deck that is more towards the tempo end of the spectrum than the control end. I may try it out, but adding my signature Chandra+ Elspeth and a couple other personal touches.
I guess, I will end up keep playing my usual Jeskai Delver deck anyways. I love it too much
My current build does very well (you can see it in the attached pic).
I played 18 matches on MTGO during the last nine days and I am 15-3 with the deck!
Since then I played 4 more matches on MTGO of which I won 2 and lost 2, and today I took it to FNM where I went 3-0, so the score is now 20-5!
Today I played 2-1 vs UB Mill (lost against Crypt Incursion G1, won with Geist+Elspeth G2 and won with Clique, Delver, Bolt+Snap G3),
round 2 I played 2-1 vs UW Spirits (lost G1 because I couldn't find burn, won G2 with 3 burn spells and Snap in my starting hand, and G3 was crazy:
opponent had Geist and 2 Drogskol Captains on board which attacked me from 17 down to 3 life, I had a Geist but didn't block, opponent was at 7 life, with a Vial on 3 and a Selfless Spirit which he played that turn. I had Bolt in hand and drew Jeskai Charm. I attacked with Geist because he could have had a Queller but instead Vial spilled out a Deputy of Detention which exiled the Angel token. Then he had no answer to my 7 points of burn damage.)
Round 3 I played 2-1 against UR Thing (Gideon and Geist won G1, Blood Moon combined with mana scr*w lost me G2, G3 was awesome, it went back and forth and was decided by Deflecting Palm on flipped Thing backed up with Dispel). All in all the wins all were close ones but I had a lot of fun and my opponents also enjoyed the matches.

I did play a single copy of Boros Charm for a long time. I actually cut it recently because I didn't think it was errated to hit planeswalkers. However, I may have to add it back into the deck given that it can still hit pesky lilianas.
That's part of the reason I just keep coming back to this deck Stevomat. The games are just awesome most of the time. It's just a really fun deck to play. I'm glad you are doing so well. No matter what the tournament is, it is always fun to play great games and win.
Man I wish someone would have brought our deck to this pro tour. It would have dominated a meta game of Tron, Humans, and Izzet Phoenix. Hopefully everyone picks up some of these decks.
I also wish I could have played there. Humans and Tron are really good matchups. Affinity in the top 8 also would have been a good matchup.
I am already registered for Barcelona in July but I wonder what's going to await me there. 1000 new cards from WAR, Modern Horizons and Magic2020 will be in the card pool by then and I guess the metagame is going to look quite different...

I assume Modern Horizons will make some MAJOR changes to the meta. My hope is that horizons slows things down a little bit.
I really wish we all went to the pro tour and we could have all played in the top 8 together :).
Very cool. Let us know how the new cards perform. I tried a couple copies of Dreadhorde Anarchist and it can really run away with games. However, I have a natural aversion to two drops because it kind of throws a wrench in the tempo plan. He seems much more suited to a aggressive version of the deck. The card is great, but I have to find the best possible version of the deck for him to fit into. I haven't tried Kefnet yet so that will be interesting to hear about. The deck is on the low side for spell count for a delver deck, but the does have enough cantrips that you may not need any more spells. Worst case scenario you can cut a creature and add an additional spell.
Thanks for posting your list! Keep us posted on how it plays.
Hi Anuben, I have to be straight with you: This deck is far too greedy to work.
You want Delver to flip and at the same time you want 18 threats so you went down to 19 lands even though you're using two CMC4 and ten CMC3 cards (including Snapcaster). This deck needs 21 lands imo. Sure, you have 4x Opt and 4x Serum Vision to find lands but while you cantrip over and over again your opponent develops the board and you fall behind.
You don't need Colonnade because you can't even activate it reliably with 21 lands.
I also loved Kefnet when I first saw it but I think he's a trap. He has no real protection and costs 4 mana without any enter-the-battlefield-trigger.
Hello StevomatUWR, thanks for your view. My main goal is not even the Delver of Secrets. Mostly I win by Geist of Saint Traft. Sure, sometimes I can win by good carddraw through pace. But most of the time it really is the Geist of Saint Traft. I do not know about God-Eternal Kefnet either. I'll give it a try anyway. I find the aspect that you additionally get a cast quite interesting. There is something possible like: pull a Lightning Bolt. caste this. cast this from the hand and through Dreadhorde Arcanist an additional graveyard cast. 9 Possible damage from 1 card. Of course I know that you never have exactly that, but the possibility still exists. Celestial Colonnade is inside the deck for the simple reason that I just own the card. I had also won a game before. I know that she is a bit slow. But my deck is a bit slower than the normal tempo decks anyway.
Hi guys,
I just played a really nice match against Affinity (well, it was nice for me - for my Affinity opponent no so much).
Since I haven't shared any videos lately I decided to upload both games.
You can watch them here: Game 1 & Game 2
If you'd like to see Gideon Blackblade in action I recommend you check it out

I love these videos. I really need to start playing MTGO more. The kiddos seem to get in the way of that :). This is a classic view of our deck. We draw just enough disruption in game 1 to pull it out and then post board we are their worst nightmare. They never see the [d]Deflecting Palm[/c] coming.
Gideon definitely did some work in game 1. There is no doubt that he is super powerful. I just don't know if I can run a WW three drop in my deck.
I finally got to play a four match "Fake FNM". My playgroup gets together with about 20 decks and picks randomly and we play 4 rounds of modern just like an FNM would go. We keep the decks are recent as possible with the most recent meta and we throw in a few crazy decks just like FNM (martyr, boggles, grixis control, etc). My opponents were Humans, Jund, Tron, and UW Conrol. I went 4-0. I am very happy with where my deck is right now. Here is the list.
The list that I went 4-0 with did not have the Chandra, Fire Artisan in it. It had a 4th Opt. The current flex slots are the Chandra, the fourth swiftspear, and the boros charm. They are fairly recently added in or added back in (boros charm). I sometimes run a 4th snapcaster, a 4th opt, a third remand, or a second geist of saint traft. I haven't gotten to my final list yet, but I wanted to give a planewalker another try in the main deck given that the meta will likely try to shift to more conrol/midrange given the rise of Humans as the #1 deck.
As for any major changes I won't be making any major changes until we see what modern horizons brings. I pre-ordered to boxes of horizons. I think there is no doubt that it will have a major impact on our deck. I have a slot in the sideboard set aside for [c]Containment Priest[c]. It is currently just a flex I change all the time depending on the meta.
Awesome CurdBros! I love how your list is so different from mine and yet both our lists are pure aggressive Jeskai decks and very competitive.
Against which four decks did you go 4-0?
I am now 28-5-1 in my last 34 matches. New Gideon continues to shine. Won me a match against Burn yesterday.
Now with 2 Plains for my three WW cards, to keep the amount of mana sources right I switched from Eiganjo to Shinka
23 Spells
Disruption package on top (Echoing Truth is still good, won me a game yesterday against Enduring Ideal by bouncing Leyline), below that is my card draw/card selection package, below that is my huge removal/burn package
The new retarded Neoform deck makes me want to add a Mana Tithe as well, next to Pierce and Snare, but I don't know what to cut.
16 Threats
Delvers as first line of attack, Pyros go wide, 3 PWs all support my three Geists but can also finish games on their own
SB
Dovin's Veto and Narset are new here, Narset against decks with many cantrips like Phoenix, Storm and Control and against attrition decks for card advantage
