I've been playing some more practice games vs. my EldraziTron deck loaned out to test. Mixed results again. One of the problems is that the "combo" can be disrupted by a timely instant speed removal on the token you are going to sacrifice. I can reliably combo on turn 3 or 4 probably 3/4 of the time, the thing is it may be disrupted half of those instances. D90Dennis suggested Quicken a while back and I think I may be pulling Mass Hysteria for it to be able to combo at instant speed just a turn later and on opponents end step.
Its really all or nothing the way it stands. Out of the blue you can take the game but opponents catch on quick. SB is still an issue as well for me. I'm not giving up on it though.

Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Torrential Gearhulk is a control finisher (recently adopted in "Blue Moon") but I don't see how it is relevant here.
Correct. Whatever is cheated out needs to be a game ender. That is the point of the deck in my estimation. I can say I've thought about Urabrask the Hidden as a compliment with Emmy/Ulamog for the Haste it gives to Emmy. But it would only work with Creativity and 2 targets and not Polymorph. And it would be too easy to "whiff" into Urabrask. For my list the current need seems to be how to cast the combo at instant speed on opponents end step. Just too much removal out there for tokens to disrupt the "combo". I think I will go -4 Mass Hysteria and +4 Quicken in the main 60.

Have you ever tinkered with craterhoof behemoth, it could make tokens lethal if we have multiple tokens out.
It could, but we have to sack a creature and that works against Craterhoof. I've never had more than 6 tokens out on the board at one time as well and usually have 1 or 2 when I combo off. Seems more of a mid to late game play and I'm often dead by mid to late game with my all in list. I'll keep it in mind.

Yep I think the in order of "end-the-game-ness" it goes
1. Old Emmy
2. Old Ulamog
3. Worldspine Wurm
4. Blightsteel Colossus
5. New Emmy

So I've been thinking of an extra utility fatty out of the SB. Akroma, Angel of Fury Not necessarily a game ender, but flying evasion, can't be blue bounced or Path'd. It also has the ability to come onto the field as a 2/2 Morph (dodges NoSB) for 3 in a pinch if you draw her and don't have any token generators so she could be sacked to Poly/Creativity. Her pump ability for red would be good as well as you would be bound to have somewhere from 2 to 5 red mana (or more with any Rituals). And theoretically you could hard cast her or more realistically pay her 3RRR Morph cost if she stayed on board. Terminate or Dreadbore still kill her though. I may wedge a copy of her into the 15.
Also had a thought forHellkite Overlord due to its haste, evasion and pump-ability for the SB as well. Has no protection though.

Well now I'm on 4 Peer Through Depths. Digging 5 cards deep helps when you are looking for a certain Sorcery piece. I may be trying Blinkmoth Nexus or Mutavault in my Khalni Garden slots as it never seems I get a chance to combo turn 2. Or I may try a 2/2 split of KG and BN and see how that goes. The sorcery speed of the spells and fragility of the tokens just seems to much to overcome at times.

Have you guys tried 1 Kher Keep as a way to make another token Eot or incase they answer your other tokens at instant speed late game? It also doesn't suck at nuteralizing a goyf or something else big without evasion if you should play against a discard heavy deck.
I will keep it in mind for sure. I've decided on a 2/2 split of Khalni Garden and Mutavault for that instant speed creature for right now.

I like Mutavault as it can survive through a Night of Souls' Betrayal as well as its ability to tap itself for mana, activate itself then sack it to the combo.
Now I have a kind of crazy idea I might need all of you to talk me out of. I'm thinking of including a copy of Lightning Greaves. Polymorph won't whiff on it but Indomitable Creativity will have a 1 in 3 chance of whiffing (considering Emmy and Ulamog are the 2 titans available). Greaves can be cast for 2 mana as well. Its 0 attach cost could be used if you set X=2 on Creativity and hit a titan and Greaves. The Shroud would also protect Ulamog from Path as well. (although not at instant speed) Basically I'd be going from a 100% sure titan to an 86% surety of a titan and 14% chance of whiffing into Greaves. Worth a try or scrap the thought?

The problem with greives is that shrouds your guy. So you can't save a token since the token won't be targetable by you any longer. So it would only be good to have it in play when already going off... To protect your big you. Not the token they would have killed to prevent you from going off in the first place? I think you see what I'm saying.
I do. It would be there for the haste on a Titan and the shroud would just be a side bonus. I suppose Swiftfoot Boots would be better to protect the tokens but it equips for 1. I've even wondered about Akroma's Memorial as well. 7 to hard cast is a drawback as well as "whiffing" into Memorial, although it wouldn't feel quite as bad it still is missing. I guess it could shut off Creativity targeting tokens as well. Just a thought I guess.

The best way to get haste imho is Xenagos, God of Revels as the second creature like it is played in the Tooth and Nail combo, but it would make Polymorph less consitent and require Indomitable Creativity x=2.
These are all good suggestions if we were not playing poly main. If you go to only two targets and 1 is as fragile as a flame kin or do nothing like a god card then you are effectively making poly into a coin flip.
There are probably no good haste options that fit the deck naturally as far as I can see.
Maybe Burst of Speed ? But it doesn't even cantrip and is a dead card most of the time.
So have looked at using the card madcap experiment combo instead of using polymorph? Madcap would allow us to hit platinum emperion. I just saw a mono red version of this deck played on youtube by Matthew Orletti
The problem with Madcap Experiment is that it combo's almost solely with Platinum Emperion (and Platinum Angel but it is actually pretty bad)
and it is more of a stabilization creature than a legitimate finisher.
If you want to go with artifacts payoff cards there is Shape Anew (usually for Blightsteel Colossus).
The deck isn't bad but it is clearly weaker than the U/R (URw) version we are discussing here as having the blue cantrips and counterspells in the SB makes the deck much better.
Jamming in the "Madcap Combo" in the maindeck isn't worth it imho as it just dillutes the main plan and I'm not even sure if it serves the deck as a SB plan because it is usually weak to the same things that the main combo is weak to (and more) and doesn't actually close the game.
Waht I did like is the SB Iona, Shield of Emeria which seemed to work pretty well. Progenitus is rather interesting too but I'm not sure if it is worth considering over Ulamog/Worldspine as a backup to Emrakul.
I was running 4 Quicken in the Peer slot. It never seemed to come up at the right time and I always seemed to be a mana short. Opponents basically hold up the mana for removal and kill the targeted token and its lights out for the "combo". I am actually thinking of running a 2/2 split of Peer and Dispel instead of 4 Peer. 2 Mutavault seems good right now. I still have the slim chance for a turn 2 combo but Mutavault can give you that 2/2 token at instant speed if needed. Who knows, I may switch to 4 Mutavault at this rate.
As for Iona, I have thought about her in the SB as well. She can still be removed rather easily as most decks have access to 2,3 or even 4 colors. A lot of Maelstrom PulseTerminate and Dreadbore in my meta. Emmy and/or Ulamog need haste so badly. I just played a turn 4 Ulamog vs. Jund yesterday and still lost the game after an attack on turn 5. Setting X=2 on Creativity and possibly cheating out a Titan AND Urabrask the Hidden seems like it could work. Whiffing into Urabrask would be a hair better than whiffing into Xenagos. The more I test and try it just seems like the deck just can't hang with the Through the Breach and Goryo's of the Modern world that give the big creatures haste on entering the battlefield. Token weakness to removal and lack of haste is making it VERY challenging. Maybe finding a creature to cheat in that gives your tokens Hexproof could be a possible solution. I will have to look.
