My favorite deck in Legacy has been Nic Fit, and I was looking at Séanace a month back and it got me to thinking what it could do so here is what happens.
This is a deck I have been testing/messing around for a while now. I have finally got it fully sleeved and playing this week (instead of xmage/cockatrice)
3-0-1 23 player Monday Modern
(2-0 humans, 2-0 living end, 2-0 affinity)
So the way it has been winning, is to slowly poke the enemy down with rhino, sorin. While controlling the game and using Séance as a never ending stream of creatures and effects to stay ahead. Ramp ahead early then control and just bring out more threats then they can deal with.
Cool, I would love to give this a try. Would you be able to give a little more detail on how your game-play and strategy has been and some sideboarding insight?

You basically just want to use early game to ramp up/get them to top deck mode/mid game setup/late game just drop the recursion train and decks just can't handle the nonstop value.
Turns 1-3 work on ramp/Game control/filling GY.
turns 4-6 turn on the recursion game and just keep throwing damage at face, use smaller critters to chump if needed.
Turns 7+ you are in control for rest of the game 60-70% of the time.
During their turn is the best time for Fulminator/Shreikmaw/Lark type of recursion.
try to only bring back rhino's with Seance if closing out game/need a blocker or life.
Use fulminators to keep decks off 1 color. vs Grixis hit blue, vs burn white or green after SB.
anything that could run Anger of the gods drop the amalgram package.
Vs tron/valkut/Control
abuse as many fulminators as possible
Use the discard spells to slow them
Vs Burn
go after gaining as much life as possible. when you start whipping/bringing back Thragtusks/Rhinos at their face its game over.
and using witness+Collective brutality chains to tear apart their early game.
Vs anything using GY
Agent of erebors is a godsend, and surgical win cons away.

How do you slow down the aggro decks long enough to take control? Also, what kind of changes would you make in a meta with a decent amount of blood moon?

To slow down burn, just rip apart their hand. try to drop a turn 3 rhino.
To slow down fish/D+T shriekmaw is a good friend, but also the 5 kill spells help.
I have been contemplating throwing catacylmic gearhulk in the MB to help where the meta does clog up the board more.

I'm returning to the game, but it seems to me that you could make the recursion more powerful by by swapping Parallel Lives for Doubling Season and adding in Growing Ranks. Populate doesn't need a target, so it can go on the stack before Seance and you'd have a permanent copy of the creature in play.
Viscera Seer seems like a good outlet for tokens that are gonna poof.
Also, if I was gonna abuse recursion and token making, I'd use a Juniper Order Ranger. It'd get hefty in a hurry, especially if doubling was in play.
I do agree about cutting the mana base colors. Wall of Omens would give a little more security vs aggro than Coiling Oracle.
About the only thing I wish I saw here was a way to bounce creatures to your hand so you could make better use of Reveillark and Restoration Angel.
Would Fauna Shaman help at all or is it gonna just get insta-targeted? If you could keep it alive it's a decent tutor you could run here. But maybe my old brain just wishes Survival was an option
I'd rather go with Evolutionary Leap or Vampiric Rites as the sac'-outlet for more value than just "scry 1" of Viscera Seer.
Being enchantments also makes them harder to remove.
Juniper Order Ranger is pretty bad for a 5-mana creature as a 2/4, sure it grows but so does the cheaper Champion of Lambholt
which also makes your creatures harder to block.
If I'd play any 5-mana creatures in this deck they would be Thragtusk or Reveillark.
(the new Regisaur Alpha looks pretty good too).
Fauna Shaman can be playable especially if you focus the deck on running many 1x-ofs and silver-bullets to tutor for.
It would be especially good with Reveillark.
Grim Backwoods is actually really fun to play with! Plays very nicely with Séance. Really REALLY wanted to play a 1 of Profane Procession, but I'm not sure if it's worth it

I'd appreciate it if you'd check out one of my lists, and tell me what you think!

Now that is something I overlooked. I'll keep playing with the list I posted, but I'll be looking in what to put it into the list over. Any suggestions?

This one has been running smoother than trying the whole 5 color thing. I loved god of the forge, but sorin is a lot better in the end

Going 5C over Abzan seems a bit questionable to me and doesn't seem like it's worth it just to add:
1x Coiling Oracle, 1x Avalanche Riders, 1x Huntmaster of the Fells and 2x Mulldrifter.
All of them can be replaced (3x Wall of Omens, 1x Blade Splicer, 1x Acidic Slime) to have a better (or at least less painful) manabase.
Viscera Seer seems like a good outlet for tokens that are gonna poof.
