I'm going to echo what was already stated about bad hands. You want to scan your hand for lands. Depending on how many you have you automatically know if you have a good or bad hand. One or three land hands are a risky, but they can be keep able. If it is explosive keep it, but it is a little sluggish I would pitch it. Good hands are two lands. And of course, a lot of multiples of one card is typically not desirable.
When playing, always go for Kuldotha first then other spells. Why? You already have three power on the battlefield, which can be followed by a whacker or other hasty creatures.
So, i'm really liking GoBots but not having bolt or something to do some spot removal really feels wrong to me. What's ya'lls opinion on trying to add bolt?
Add one or two if you like, but it does take away from the decks synergy and probably win rate.. the deck comes hard and fast, and if you have a hand like 3 Mountain, a Bomat, a BTE, and two bolts well they could have been creatures instead
Well, the deck isn't the only one comming hard and fast...
...
Revolt Zoo, Merfolk, Zoo, Allies, Collected XY, Humans - they play sometimes PtE or Bolt but that would make our draw worse 'cause we NEED as much creatures as possible for making the best out of our +1/+1s they don't

Today I will try -1 Devastating Summons +1 Frenzied Goblin. This goblin has it's home at regular goblin, I think this guy can find a lot of hate at ours opponents, being able to remove a kitchen finks as a blocker is big deal.
I find Devastating Summons to be too much of all in for me, in long games you discard yourself from the game when you cast it.
I faced junk, won 2-0. Then Naya Midrange (Knight of the Reliquary), loss 1-2, my last turn the deck doesn't wanted to giveme a win (some wacher... any xD), surprisingly even match!
Last game I was stomped by Grixis Death's Shadow. I was able to play a legion loyalist and then he counter all my spells, then landed death's shadow or the fish and simply won.
I remained worryed about the last match, it is too oppressive. I think if we resolve an Genesis Chamber we could be able to deal some damage, bot not enought to win.
Maybe it is just an horrible matchup and we better forget about it.
The deck doesn't have a real way to deal with death's shadow grixis, yo can't create a massive army neither. I was thinking in adding a Goblin King to being able to win via mauntain walk, this could also be helpfull against zoo/naya matchups.
This weekend I'm attending to an medium size event, are expected 60 people. And I feel confidant that this deck has advantage against bant eldrazi/ tron/ wich are the most expected decks. Maybe I keep in mind that concept and keep the aggro going.
Leyline of Punishment may be perjudicial because it is a bad draw. Although it helps to improve the burn hate most decks side in.
-On any counters it destroys Chalice of the Void.
-On zero counters it destroys Tokens.
-On one counter it destroys Zoo, Death Shadow, Boggles, and heaven forbid Authority of the Consuls. (which I'm now have a mono white agro control deck for)
-On two it destroys Kor Firewalker and Merfolk.
Its a very dynamic removal tool. But, yes, it can hurt you too. Just be mindful when using it.

imho the Leyline wont help you there, I don't see much lifegain in most lists these days. Goblin King is a nice addition BUT not in Gobots, since you attack with Memnite, Signal Pest, Myr Tokens, Bomat Courier or Elemental token and not just play Goblins. Beside that he has cmc 3, pretty high and easy target for bolt or every other removal.
First of all, I really apreciate your work on this lovely and hyper agressive deck. Gobots is strong but I prefer regular 8 Whack and wanted to push some discussion about this version of Goblins. I have had some success with mono red goblins at various fnms but I sometimes struggle with sideboarding. Anyways, here is my current iteration of 8 Whack: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/16-02-17-goblins-8-whack/
I am open for questions and suggestions.
The last time I played, which was yesterday, my oponend was sure of winning until I played 2 Goblin Grenades for 10 damage to the face. Thats why I like this deck but creature decks like knightfall coco can be really though!
I recently lost to 2 E.E. followed up by a chalice on 1 drawing 5 1cmc spells in a row. But honestly I think the best you can do is boarding in artefact hate. 3x Smash to Smithereens should be enough. Goblin wardriver looks tasty though but I don´t know what to cut. Any suggestions?
I think the only numbers that should be changed are Devastating Summons (flex),Frenzied Goblin (flex), Mogg Fanatic, Goblin Piledriver, Goblin Chieftain and Reckless Bushwhacker. The rest is set in stone but those numbers can be tweaked as well as the Sideboard.
Also, do you guys know what can be cut when sideboarding? Sometimes I want to have more lords or Piledrivers but I never know what to cut. Devastating Summons and Frenzied Goblin are often the first to go with some exceptions, Mogg fanatic if the opponent plays no creatures with thoughness 1. Also, sometimes Chieftain is too slow, but he can also be a powerhouse.

-> Imho Blood Moon isn't meant for this kind of deck. It does not deal damage and T3 is mostly 2late.
I Love the Devastating Summons and would make em 2-of but thats my risky playstyle. In my sample list for monored goblins (didnt play the list for months) I just cutted 4 Bolts for make room for the full playset Chieftains/Piledriver/Fanatics mainboard, cause of no need for interaction
Furthermore it all depends on your meta:
Need to win fast and your opponent doesnt play much interaction? 4x Piledriver. See much Fish around? PILEDRIVER! See much UWR around? PILEDRIVER!!
See many Noble Hierarchs or Birds? 4x Mogg Fanatic. See even more Allies or opposing Goblins? ... MOGGS!
Beside that I usually don't play the Chieftains, cause we got 8Whacker, 4Guides/Loyalists...we got so much haste even without em -> would make room for the 4. Piledriver, the 3.-4.Mogg Fanatic and -1 Mountain.

It's all on your matchup... don't board to much :)and mostly the chieftains are 2 slow :S

Are you sure Blood Moon is bad? It destroys manabases that are not prepared.
I like Devastating Summons as a 1 of and don´t want to cut it but I never want to see 2 obviously. I´m too chicken.
Goblin Piledriver is really great especially in combination with legion loyalist or with a bushwhacker for 4 mana, that´s why I play the full playset in the 75 and 19 mountains. I would play 18 lands in an atarka or gobots build though, but reaching 3 lands is important as it´s the only way to Surge Reckless Bushwhacker and sometimes evne 4 mana can be good to play Piledriver+Bushwhacker or Devastating Summons for 3.
Lightning Bolts sometimes have to go game 2/3 in favour of Artefact hate or other creatures but it´s still the best red spell and offers great reach.
Sometimes this deck runs out of gas really fast against slower decks and creature heavy matchups like Bant Company or Knightfall can be though. Thats were I like the constant buff Goblin Chieftain offers and I usually board in 2 Chieftains for a full playset. Might be too much but they have ben very good.
Mogg Fanatic is a though call as well. I play 2 main which is as low as I would go and 1 in the Sideboard along 2 Forked Bolt agaist dorks.
Do you think the Atarka build might work better includng Atarkas Command and BTE?

Simple answer: Yes
BUT, it destroys the flavour - on my LGS FNM I will enjoy playing Monored-Goblins but if you have the cards to play Atarka's and there's no stylepoints or fun playing monored, go and play Atarka's.
You can play Atarka's Command, Destructive Revelry, Tin Street Hooligan -> Love it.
Blood Moon isn't bad BUT when a good opponent sees you on Monored he will always try to fetch basics -> its usually a dead card and u dont want to draw it when ur opponent is on 5life and u need damage...
Beside that I just dont like the Chieftain much :x maybe I'm not the right person to talk bout that card
And yes, you're right, 4Mana is important for Piledriver+Whacker...I forgot about that, didn't play the deck for 2years now x)

All this talk about Chieftain has made me think where I used him. I had to think way back on an older version of Gobots, before we had access to Bomat Courier and Hope of G...I cannot spell that cards name for the life of me. But anyways, here it is.
So I've been jamming goblins in frontier and I'm in love with kari zev's expertise. T1 1 drop, T2 more junk, T3 steal your best blocker and jam an atarka's command just feels so great every time.
I have goblins, gobbots, 8 whack etc built for modern and I'm wondering if it has a place here, maybe in the side as a 2-3 of. It's also pretty good against death's shadow if your life total is high enough as you can just steal it and let it die...or just bash face with one of their creatures.
kalitas, traitor of ghet was always a big issue for me in my meta and I'm thinking this may be my cleanest answer to him and pushing through the last few points I need. With just one token, an atarkas command and expertise in hand against a tapped out opponet with kalitas I can swing in for 6, burn 3, gain 4. That's a 13 point life swing which is pretty groovy.
Also great against anything rushing out fat dudes like grixis delve variants.
Thoughts?
