U-Pact is a left over from the days when we were running Hive Mind mainboarded, I think. I like having it mainboarded in an attempt to force through threats against counter matchups (which are reasonably common in my meta), but I wouldn't think it odd on your part if you wanted to cut it.

Well, I can saw a woman in two, but you won't wanna look in the box when I'm through.
Cutting U-Pact main-deck wouldn't be the end of the world. There is quite a bit of path to exile where I play, so it often is almost like copy #5 of Primeval Titan when trying to force through removal, and the broad ranging utility on top of that means I prefer mine in the MD.

Modern Decks
------------ URW Jeskai Control GUWRB Amulet Titan GR Ponza
R1: Eldrazi and Taxes
Win 2-1
I lose game one after a mull finishing the game with 4 mana an amulet and 4 Titans in hand.
I win games 2 and 3 on the back of some solid dismembers and some sick thragtusk action. Oh and a double amulet draw in game three.
R2: Gw value town
Loss 0-2
Well, he's the ghost quarter excavator deck with mindcensor main. He won a long first game after casting all 4 collected company. He wins game 2 off of a major misplay on my part. Pacted for a tracker when I only had 2 green sources. Mindcensor and gq is GG.
R3: Kiki Chord
Loss 1-2
I keep amulet, scout, azusa, stirrings and lands. Didn't draw a spell the entire game. Drew literal 12 lands before my opp killed me. Game 2 is grindy. I fought through three magus of the moon but ground him out. Vesuva becoming an additional forest was huge. He wins game three off of a reveillark returning all sorts of nasty stuff. I definitely got punished for not playing bog.
R4: Affinity
Win 2-1
He crushed me game one. Games two and three I cleaned up with k return. He went all in on nexus and allowed me to tutor up gq. It was GG after that.
R5: Mono white taxes
Win 2-0
Got out ahead early with tribe scout and was able to use it defensively to dodge his LD. 4/1-ed him with a walking ballista and won easy after that. Game 2 involved a 6/1 with k return. Courser also gained a lot of life.
R5: Grixis Shadow
Win 2-0
Double relic game one slows him down a lot. Eventually I found a courser which found me two groves. I was able to kill two of his shadows with the groves. Hell yeah. Game 2 was Titan finding tolaria west to tutor for hornet queen. GG.
The relics and groves were a meta call that wound up biting me big time. Serum visions would have been outstanding today. Solid first run with the deck though!
@daviusminimus I like the list, and I've been thinking a lot about ways to make the deck more consistent on turn 3 or get another angle. I actually like the Wargate as well, as I think it's a cool angle (doesn't work well with EE/Chalice/Ballista, but you can put some silver bullets for fast combo/ago like Meddling Mage or Ethersworn Canonist and with an amulet or ramp cast it by turn 3). I also think I would rather have Scouts over Explores, which would make game 1 against BGx worse and turn on removal, but I think it's important to be able to have access to 4-5 mana on turn 3 in case we need to cast Wargate on 1-2 or transmute and find Relic/Pithing Needle/Ethersworn Canonist/Meddling Mage/EE/whatever, but also I don't want to tap out on turn 2 in case we need to defend against Affinity/Elves by playing EE/Ballista/K-Return/Pyroclasm. I think a deck that goldfishes for turn 4 wins isn't good enough in modern, and without the EE and Ballista, we are basically non-interactive with this deck with just the one Slaughter Pact. I think there is something here though. I also think we can hedge to have better match-ups against BGx decks by putting a couple extra Colossi or Baloths if needed. Nice job on this.
My list:
1 Walking Ballista
4 Sakura-Tribe Scout

1 Tireless Tracker
1 Chameleon Colossus
1 Thragtusk
1 Ruric Thar, the Unbowed
1 Hornet Queen
Round 1: Grixis Death's Shadow (play) W | 2-1
G1: He had a quick gurmag angler, and I had some ramp with scout. I get down a t4 titan but he has the terminate and wins w/ a 8/8 death's shadow and angler.
SB: Out: 4 Amulet of Vigor, 4 Sakura-Tribe Scout, In: 1 Chalice, 3 Dismember, 1 Tracker, 1 Chameleon Colossus, 1 Thragtusk, 1 Hornet Queen
G2: I have grove of the burnwillows to keep his life up. He manages a quick tasigur, but I have courser gaining me life and getting thru my deck. I land a titan, he attacks with 2 8/8 death's shadows with me at 11 I tank for a long time and chump with just the courser, and go to 3. I attack into his tasigur for the land triggers, get 1 trample, transmute for ballista and tap it in.
G3: We don't have much time, so play pretty quickly. He gets a fast death's shadow, I have a tireless tracker. I play my titan, get triggers, he terminates it and surgicals it. I then topdeck a land, crack it for an EE, play it on 1 to kill his shadows and attack him down to 2. He casts a street wraith, which i dismember for 3 mana (no life) and win.
Round 2: Grixis Death's Shadow (play) W | 2-1
G1: He quickly kills me
SB: Same as above
G2: I land a t2 chalice of the void on 1. I then get a t3 tireless tracker and win. He casts into the chalice a bunch of times and I successfully triggered my chalice.
G3: He has early discard where he takes my summoner's pact. I have an azusa that ramps me. He had 2 mana for a long time, a quick tasigur, then a death's shadow, but wouldn't tap out after seeing my dismember in the opener. He obviously is representing stub, so I get him to counter my EE and then dismember his death's shadow(?). I then land hornet queen, which I give +2/0 + haste to and am able to hit him down to 5, then next turn attacked w/ all and had walking ballista to finish it off.
Round 3: Grixis Control (draw) W | 2-0
G1: I had an amulet in the opening hand, proceed to draw 3 more. He taps out for Jace, AoT, I topdeck a bounce land and get essentially infinite mana with summoner's pact into titan, x4, then give them all +2/+0 haste and vigilance, then give them all double strike. (this is all allegedly because he conceded when I told him he was beyond dead)
G2: There's more back and forth, but he trinket mages for a chalice of the void, puts it down on 0, I beat him down anyway.
Round 4: Dan on Kiki Chord (play) W | 2-0
G1: I have an amulet, he has a bird. T2 ballista kills bird, he plays voice of resurgence, then eternal witness. On t4 I have a titan i give haste and transmute for a pact of negation. He path's my titan, I counter (he fails to trigger voice), and then I win the next turn.
SB: In 2x dismember, 2x kozilek's return, 1x hornet queen, out: cavern of souls, 2 explore, ???
G2, i have T1 sakura tribe scout, t2 amulet. He has bird into ewitness into hard-casted kiki-jiki. In response to him trying to copy e-witness, I vial in a land for my 3 mana kozilek's return. After that I get a hornet queen and attack with it a few times to win. He chords into resto to trade, but i have walking ballista to finish him off again.
Round 5: ID (affinity)
Round 6: ID (dead guy ale)
I was 5th in t8.
Quarterfinals: George on Affinity (draw) W | 2-1
G1: He has a quick plating and kills me on t4.
SB: In 2 dismember, 2 kozilek's return, reclamation sage, hornet queen, ghost quarter, out: 3x relic, 1x bojuka bog, 1x pact of negation, 2x explore
G2: I keep a hand of kozileks return and two dismembers. he lands a ravager, so with 4 mana i cast kozs' return and dismember the target he tries to modular onto. He almost rebuilds with etched champion, but I EE on 3 to blow him up after landing a titan.
G3: He has t1 vault skirge, t2 ravager, and t3 plating. I have EE I play on 2 to wipe him out. As I keep making land drops, I play a titan and get a GQ and Tolaria west. He attacks with plating equiped inkmoth nexus that makes me blow the land. I get summoner's pact for rec sage, blow up plating and attack him to 9. He then gets a ravager, which gets me down to 2. He then scooped as I had 12 dmg on board.
Semifinals: Luis on RW Burn (play) W | 2-0
G1: I have a double amulet hand. He gets me down to 10 life with goblin guide and eidolon. He misses 1 eidolon trigger (judge was next to us and said it's ok to miss), but I get titan on t4 and attack for 20.
SB: -1 EE -2 Relics -1 Bog -1 Ballista +2 Kozilek’s Return +1 Thragtusk +1 Rec Sage +1 Ruric Thar
G2: Goblin guide keeps finding me lands, radiant fountain + vesuva gain me 4 life. I get a titan and swing into 1 open mana (don't swing into 2 without pact of negation). I get a pact of negation, swing again, he helixes me and double blocks with swiftspear and guide. I summoner's pact for ruric thar and it's gg.
Finals: David on Dead Guy Ale (play) W (2-0-drop), but played out L 0-2
Going into this matchup i thought he was on smallpox so kept a land heavy hand. I end up getting 6 mana but not double green until way late. at that point, bob's drawn him 4 extra cards, lingering souls have been flashed back, and i've seen a few paths get revealed to bob. I land a titan, but he has path path for azusa and titan to attack for the win.
SB: bad
I still don't know how to play this matchup- in retrospect I should've boarded like it was grixis shadow, taking out amulets and dorks for action.
He has a t2 copter, t3 bob, then liliana. I'm not doing much of anything and liliana makes me discard when I have my 6th land and 2 titans. I discard my titan, which he surgicals, and from that point I just concede.
All in all, a good tournament- the deck feels fun. Not as many free wins as I'd hoped for, but got lucky enough to dodge Blood Moon.

Current thoughts: Online I'm playing a version w/ Saheeli and Sakura-Tribe Elder and extra basics. I like being able to copy amulet, thragtusk, hornet queen, and find action when I'm not copying. Not sure if it's better, but will keep playing leagues to level up.
The goals are 1) ramp into Titan as early as turn 3 like the OG build, 2) set up and cast Believe targeting Emrakul or Titan on turn 3 (or cast Reason on turn 1 or 2 to set up Believe as early as turn 3), or 3) Breach Emrakul or Titan into play as early as turn 3. Believe in the yard in the mid-late game turns your Visions and Reasons into possible live draws at action, as you can scry creatures to the top of your library. Shout out to @djhova for the Endless Sands and Breach interaction tech - with an amulet out (or a lot of mana), you can cast Titan and grab Sands/karoo, and tuck the Titan before end step to recast the following turn. Also, as an aside, I really just want an excuse to play Endless Sands because the art is so freaking beautiful! This is a very rough draft, but based on my limited testing on MTGO it's respectable, I haven't lost yet in the 1v1 queues and I've played mid to high tier decks. It's not as glass cannon as it looks, since all the cantrips/scrys dig three cards deep, so rarely do you have two Breachs or all your fatties in hand, which is a common problem with Breach decks in my opinion. Dropping here as I figure you all might be interested, comments welcome and appreciated.
Also, as an aside, here is the Discord server invite link again for the chat where we discuss Amulet Titan tech, results, innovations, etc, just an extension of this forum in the event you are a huge amulet nerd (like me and others) - https://discord.gg/Bb8rPfv. Not trying to spam this, just want to make sure people who don't visit this forum frequently get a chance to see it.
@daviusminimus I watched him, he's a really nice guy and pretty solid on the deck. I agree, any coverage is good! How have your results been? Still on a bit of an amulet break?
I think another negative with lotus bloom games 2 and 3 is that your opponents can react to the lotus bloom coming off suspend with grudge or EE which will not give you the needed boost to cast a titan turn 4.
But I would definitely consider building this just so I can call my deck Amulet Bloom again LOL

So I just got into the deck online, played it for years in paper. How do i stack the amulets correctly when you have two? It keep messing up and i cant give my titan a double stronghold.
@Doozay MTGO updated last week or the week before and now the triggers are random, I believe. I clicked Boros first last night and it worked. I think it's luck, unfortunately, until they fix.
@tarotplz I would target the amulet and ramp early - do the math on how soon they can get a Titan, and take the piece you can't beat. If you have a path, take Scout, Azusa or Amulet. Generally, ramp is a good idea, because we have 11 live cards to find a Titan, so we are going to find another fairly regularly. Postboard we are bringing in more threats against your discard, so your Nevermore isn't great either, since we'll just target Hornet Queen with our Summoner's Pact. It's not terrible though. Blood Moon and Ensnaring Bridge are both great against us. Chalice on 0 or 1 is good too. Just a few thoughts.
No, only bugged for double amulet triggers to hit for 20. If it layers x2 Stronghold triggers to resolve and then x2 Boros Garrison, just let the Strongholds resolve (float one colorless then leave untapped after 2nd trigger), then use the boros triggers to activate. You just can't swing for 20 on turn 3 - going to have to settle for a measly 16. Every so often this is the difference, but typically you can just get Ballista the next turn anyway and do the remaining 4 or whatever, so it's more of an inconvenience and slight problem. You can still roll with Amulet
@daviusminimus- If you get a vesuva to copy a Boros garrison and get a sunhome the sunhome untaps first. This is true even if you click the vesuva first.
@Bob449 Well, 1) it depends if you can respond to the first land drop trigger to stop one land drop, but 2) I meant to type Seize/IoK, not path. I meant to say that if he can take the ramp early he can set us back turns on our titans.
Playhing against BW tokens was a virtual bye post-bannings. A Hive Mind instantly kills them which you could dig for with Serum Visions and Sleight of Hand.

I've been playing friendlies, but I've had great results recently. My sample size is not as high as others though. My toughest matchups right now are Hatebears and GR Ponza (and any other deck with t2 blood moons). Decklist is here, nothing fancy - https://deckbox.org/sets/1662958. The best innovations we've had recently have been working on Breach lists (which are probably not in a good place in a GDS heavy meta, but they're interesting), Ramunap Excavator in the board for Hatebears and to establish a GQ loop to lock out greedy decks (not sure if we can get the loop online quickly enough against most decks, but out of the sideboard to play three strip mine'd lands against Hatebears seems like it could swing the match-up, and it's not searching a library so Arbiter can't stop us), and trusty Sigarda, Host of Herons out of the board for GDS and Esper Shadow variants running LotV to break the mirror. My local meta isn't heavy on either of these, but on MTGO I may board out the 3rd Dismember or Chalice for an Excavator just to see if it shores up the Hatebears match-up. People are brewing with Saheeli Rai as well to some decent results, but still a small sample size.
On Satudarday I went to a PPTQ event with Amulet Titan.
I performed poorly with few big mistakes but a lot of learning, since I don't play online this are my best improving experience platform.
I finished 3 wins -2 loss -1 draw
First Round I was able to beat Skred, sided in 1 reclamation sage, 2 swan songs, 1 beast within 2 dismember and 1 thragtusk.
first game was with turn 2 bloodmoon...
second game on turn three I had a swan song in hand, simic growth chamber, and an amulet and an untapped sakura. He played the red planeswalker and after played a bloodmoon, that I countered with swan song. was pretty cool.
Third game I was able to destroy bloodmoon and win, it doesn't affect the game.
Second Round I draw against GBU Midrange.
I played very poorly the first game, miss played my relics that would reduce the dmg of tarmo..., I had a glare on top of my cards that really distracted me. Second game I won via Hive Mind keep 2 tolaria west in hand, double summoners pact =D. Then the time ended.
Third Round I loss against dredge 2-0. On second game I dry a Gemstone mine, that ws crucial to keep alive to properly ramp to play Hivemind. Nevever forget this...
Fourth Round. Won 2-0 against Mardu Control, I thought the deck had blood moon, So I played so paranoid about it. At the end my opponent confirmed the inexistance of the bloody card.
Fifth round. I loss against A boros aggro deck with rituals.
First game, he started, and played blood moon on turn 2.
Second game, I was able to control the blood moon, but he had also enstaring bridge.
I destroyed blood moon with reclamation sage.
Then I had to destroy a 6 Loyalty chandra with beast within.
I casted a EE at 3, while having 2 amulets and a titan in play. He was able to deal me exactly de points of damage to killme. This was a fun match, I did my best and wasn't able to win, but proven not to be impossible.
At this point I was out of the top 8. But still played the sixth round, won against burn. I think the game is really manegable.
I sided in ranumap excavator It didn't showed up, I swaped it for Chameleon Collosus in order to eventually chain combo destroy with Azusa & GQ.
Beast Within is best against planeswalkers and is kind of the best answer against Karn, Im going to still test them. Im happy with my 75, Just need more testing.

But I would definitely consider building this just so I can call my deck Amulet Bloom again LOL

edit: so im going to assume its the reverse order because i just did that and it didnt work.
