Yeah, right now I'm running Elspeth in combnation with two Sun Titan to add some beatdown power late game.
Dragonlord Ojutai seems like an interesting addition. I assume splashing a second colour doesn't ruin the lifegain plan noticeably? Must feel a bit annoying to have Serra Ascendant out and be at sub-30 life because you fetched and shocked yourself though.
The life gain loss hasn't been too relevant, 3 six drops is a lot! Ecspecially with proc and emeria you really aren't playing until late 😝

For what it's worth, in a great deal of cases, you end up fetching up shocks tapped anyway, as our deck gets a lot of good opportunities to do so. In fact, had one been printed, I had been considering running a one of WR cycling dual land.
It occasionally comes up for me that Blood Moon or Emrakul prevent me from gaining life we want, but we still have a lot of hits, and I'm only running 2 Ascendants anyway.
Really? I've found I can really struggle again the turn 2 Thought-Knot, turn 3 Smasher. I think I might also be attacking it from the wrong angle in a lot of games, as I try to go after Tron before Temples, which seems not as good. I've only played it once since adding back Squadron Hawks to chump - is that the game plan you use? Just chump them until you can Wrath and then Ranger into our game plan?
Last night, I lost to it 1-2, getting game one through Crucible lock, losing game 2 to Needle, into Chalice, into Smasher, into Ulamog, (I still had the out, but he flashed All is Dust, I think this data is just warped because he had an absurd god hand) and then losing game 3 since Wayfarer couldn't keep them off of value lands long enough to stop the rush.

Unless I'm already on top of them and I'm confident I can keep the wayfarer engine going I never go out of my way to disrupt their torn lands. Board sweeps, o ring effects on Karen, and proclamation is how I've been winning, also, you weren't playing hawks?

No. They were gone to make room for more late game threats and then flex slots that I was never happy with (Ayli, BW God, Thraben Inspectors, Kami of False Hope.) After seeing your success, I brought them back. This is my list as of right now, with the extra big stuff and Wayfarers in the side:
Only if they're land light and close to casting endbringer or all is dust, situation dependent but no not usually

Is it worth it to run Leylines in the sideboard? Feels like burn matchups are quite easy without them, and discard doesn't really bother the gameplan too much, does it? Can be good against some combo decks, of course.
I don't play them, I don't like having a card in my deck that is a bad top deck post board.. They can still be good at times if drawn into, but sometimes they are bad even t1 if your opponent didn't keep a discard hand.

Do you go out of your way to break their Eldrazi Temples?
Kami of False Hope won me my first game of infect 2-0 when i first picked this deck up and had probably played it twice before that match. Only removal i have MB is 4 Wrath of God, 4 Path to Exile, and 1 Blessed Alliance so i went into the game expecting to lose, but paired with 4 Martyr of Sands and 4 Ghostly Prison i found out as long as i get a early Kami of False Hope i can stall them till i can slam a Prison down then Wrath and usually be in the clear. Prison and Kami also helped me against GR Tron
on a more specific note does anyone other then me run crucible of worlds paired with 4 GQ and 1 Tech Edge?
@BoBoCTiberius: i swear i see you in every other modern thread that i play lmao Do you still play soul sisters as well?

I know that isn't good as Hawk, but it's worth to mention the new spoiled card:
Legion Conquistador
2W
Creature - Vampire Soldier
When Legion Conquistador enters the battlefield, you may search your library for any number of cards named Legion Conquistador, reveal them, put them into your hand, then shuffle your library.
2/2
If Death's Shadow runs out of control, this card is a good answer.
But with our current metagame this card isn't good enough.
According to MTGGoldfish: Storm (7%), Titan Valakut (6.5%), Eldrazi Tron (6%), Grixis Death's Shadow (5.5%), Burn (5.25%), UW Control (4.5%), Affinity (4.25%), Abzan (3.75%), Eldrazi & Taxes (3.25%) and Ad Nauseam (3.25%) are the ten most played decks.
Three of them are very rough (Storm, Valakut and Ad Nauseam);
Three are bad, but winnable (Eldrazi Tron, Eldrazi & Taxes and UW Control);
Two are fair (Grixis Death's Shadow, Abzan)
Two are good matchs (Burn and Affinity)
What do you think about the new card and the metagame regarding our deck?

What do you think about the new card and the metagame regarding our deck?
I think valakut is a fair match up, and I think uw control and taxes are great matches for us. So overall I think proc is in a good spot. I'm going to Louisville for scg this weekend and my biggest concern is do I play 2 relic and 2 eidolon of rhetoric or just 4 relic. Also, planning on playing no prison mono white. Will post a final list friday
As I remeber Trawis Woo built combo like Martyr Proc with Vials, tonns of CA engine and Orzhov guildmage.
I think that new "half-hawk" will be fine there.
In other builds I don't see him playable bcs he's third drop (already full of other cards) and he doesn't have flying like hawk that doesn't help us survive.
So I don't see him playable much.
Also, guys. Don't look at mtggoldfish or other statistics - they have unreal numbers.
Take point from what: with unknown metagame ppl will take combo decks or aggro/land decks without option to play around your opponent but play your own plan. There're: Storm, CoCoCo, Valakut Shift, E-tron, Old-tron, Burn, Shadow, Some number of Blood moon/Ponza decks and etc. Half of theese matches are just bad for us.
Control decks sucks without information about meta bcs modern doesn't have universal answers especially with our "only white" cards.
I can say that preventing metagame information leaking out to ppl is the worst thing that could happen to Martyr Proc since ban of Twin and Eldrazi aggro decks.
I know that isn't good as Hawk, but it's worth to mention the new spoiled card:

I think 3 mana is too much and not having flying is also not so great. I think its good as long as GDS keeps all the combo in check. Storm is a doable matchup although its hard. The hardest matchups for me are elves and vizier combo since its hard to hate it out.
