Really?! I'd kind of assumed it would just get bolted or otherwise scorched out in the burn match up. I guess I'll get a couple and try running them. It would be nice to have some main deck advantage against burn as that would free up a little sb space. After looking at everyone else's lists I still like 2 mb GQ but I can definitely see moving down to 6 basics and maybe less fetchs to accomadate some combination of Vents/Urborg/Eye. Purely out of curiosity has anyone else been running Ruin Processor over Rest for the Weary in the SB? I've found him to be really good at stabilizing and clinching the win against aggro, but the instant speed and cheap mana cost of Rest is super tempting.
Btw Tutti_Frutii your list looks solid. For the free slot I would personally say that in modern you can never go wrong w/ more spot removal. We have Pact and Go For the Throat if you want cheap one for one against creatures or you could try O-ring/utter end if you like the idea of a one-of catch all answer.

Manlands have been great, already made the grinder midrange match ups even better and there have been a few occasions that they have been the reason I pulled out a win against burn. I'm on 6 basics because I'm appreciating the utility ghost quarter provides, PtE in the format and blood moon. All though blood moon can be a pain its not a instawin, it just slows the match up down even more and there have been occasions where i've had purge in hand but landed a sower and let it exist because it turned on all the fetches from my opponent. I've moved from utter end back to pact, its nice insurance to be able to tap out for herder or sower and say deal with it, and Utter end was really there for Lili/Moon but this deck is resilient and i've lived thru lili ultimates on the regular and moon while a pain isn't back breaking.
Agreed with the core coming together. I like a split of Revoke and Disenchant, especially against lantern, its been nice to get rid of their bridge when they've had an active Academy Ruins and force them to dig for another.
Well, sounds good, I'm convinced. Time to pick up a couple vents while they are still comparatively cheap. I agree that we can ignore Moon a lot more than the other Processor decks and Lili isn't awesome against us because of souls.
Also, meant to say this earlier, but if anyone else is testing main deck scullers please let me know how they are working for you. I am curious to know if they are as good as I think they are or if it is just a case of my meta being very favorable to them.

Along side Miren, the Moaning Well other interesting card for Blight Herder versions is Tomb of the Spirit Dragon. With Blight Herder and tokens in play you are gaining 4 life every turn without sacrificing your creatures. Just 4 life if you only have 1 Herder but how ignorant is if you just have 2 Herders in play and gaining 8 life every turn? =)
Ive had really good success with this deck vs burn. We really want to be jamming our life gain early to stabilize. Tapping out T4/5 to try to put a creature in play to gain life is often way too late, and at best, it gets skullcracked/atarkas command. These decks are running SIX skullcrack like effects post board vs white. No thank you.

Interesting what do you sideboard against burn? Maybe against burn the alternatives for this deck are Spirit Link/Vampiric Link against Monastery Swiftspear/Eidolon of the Great Revel and/or Sun Droplet but this last one is kind a little slow if you don't have multiples on the field. Against burn we need to be careful about playing artifacts/enchantments since they play Destructive Revelry sideboard. Other alternatives are Spellskite to redirect lightning bolt and take 2 instead of 3 damage. Not a definitive answer but to gain some time.
Posting some deck lists that are winning some modern leagues at Magic Online:
I was looking over some cards and was wondering what people's opinions were...
castigate Tougher mana and more expensive, but exiles. Worth it? beckon apparition Early blocker and exiles. cremate Exile and cantrip. reciprocate Weaker path to exile, but seems solid. Titan's presence Works well with our creature package, but is 3 mana too much? transgress the mind Again, discard that exiles instead.
Castigate might work depending on how controlling your build is, but iok/ts are probably better as discard since they are cheaper, and sculler/maggot are probably better as hand exile since they can potentially take a card and leave behind a body.
Beckon apparition and cremate are decent but we already have better gy exile options in relic/bog/extirpate
Reciprocate and titan's presence are pretty conditional, and you want your removal to be as universally available as possible. Reciprocate can't save you from twin and presence is only usable if you have another card in hand
Transgress is decent against tron, but even w/ exiling this is a 2 mana discard that cant hit a lot of important cards in modern. Ts and iok are probably better the majority of the time.

Well, theres a lot to cut vs burn, so I side in 3 rest for the weary, 2 spellskite (If they didn't see a relic), 2 purge, and I think thats it. Im using the relatively stock list.
Hello to everyone, i usually play g/r tron but when i saw this deck archetype i knew i had to take it for a spin.
As budget isn't a concern, any tips on which list i sould try? EVENTUALLY I'LL MODIFY IT FOR MY META.

One interesting card I saw in one list is Timely Reinforcements in the sideboard. Seems interesting to survive and gain some life until you can stabilize.

Just 5-0ed a league with the deck. Wins against Abzan company, Grixis twin, UR twin, Burn, and Mardu midrange. The company matchup was interesting. I won from underneath a finks infinite combo by milling with Ulamog. G2, I was able to pick apart their hand with discard and had a clutch relic to shut off a finks persist trigger. Grixis twin/UR Twin was interesting. I felt pretty immune to the combo, and my sideboard has lots of options to bring in. Only lost to bolt-snap-bolt stuff. Burn is all about turning the corner. They just can't win if you're able to stabilize above 10 life and them with 1 card in hand. I resolved a rest for the weary on turns 2 and 3 while pathing away eidolons. The multiple shambling vents here are a beating if you can turn the corner on them. Processing as suspended Rift bolt to kill their creatures is huge game. I take out Thought Seize, Ulamog, Maps, and a Sower in order to bring in celestial purge, rest, spellskite. Seems to really hedge the matchup. As for the mardu deck, it felt like general midrange abusing Kommand and value creatures in finks and PK nalaar. Like any midrange matchup for us, we really just go over the top. Souls is amazing here. He was forced to path my fliers on multiple occasions which ended up ramping me into Blight herder mana. Blight herder is by far the best card in these matchups. Going wide is so strong against midrange, and Im thinking about modifying the sideboard to deal a little bit better with that game plan. Zealous Persecution as a 1 or 2 of is what Im looking at to turn the corner on these matchups, but Im not sure how necessary it is as we are pretty big favorites already, I feel. Haven't lost to Jund/Grixis yet. I think the deck we are the BIGGEST dog against in the format is actually scapeshift. I haven't beat them once, and it hasn't even been particularly close.

seems like this deck has problems dealing with big mana decks (tron/amulet/scapeshift)
Is there any way to deal with these decks besides ghost quarter?
Ghost quarters is our best bet against tron, but its still rubbish against scapeshift. They just get to 7 and win. We can't interact outside of discard. I bet the UB version has a better time, but BW is just rubbish. I think our only chance is either discard + surgical extraction a scapeshift or ghost quarters + surgical a valakut if they happen to play one early. Even then, our odds are bad. We actually have a much better matchup against tron than we do scapeshift. Maybe 33/66 against tron, but 20/80 to scapeshift. Its really really bad.

If I encounter Shift a lot, I will just have a lot more discard in my sideboard.
I'm also comfortable with the 3rd Eye. The ability to cast Oblivion Sower is noticeable.

Against Blood Moon I think Celestial Purge is the best answer for this deck since It's more versatile not only dealing with Moon but with Splinter Twin, Liliana of The Veil, Keranos, God of Storms or other thinks like Young Pyromancer that these same decks play together.
