^Congratulations on the new additions! The sideboard looks good. I would recommend playtesting postboard a bunch against decks like Sun and Moon, Ponza, etc. with both Sundering Growth and Fragmentize to see which you prefer. The former sounds great in principal and I ran it for quite a while, but I do think the latter is more practical in relevant matchups (including Merfolk because of Spreading Seas) and made the switch a couple months ago.
2) Dunno, UW spirits were a good standard deck, but aside from Spell queller and Selfless spirit, I don't see a lot of them in modern. A card like this could potentially push them to tier 2 I think? I'm not sure. almost all Spirit decks I saw were pretty tempo.
Question 2: How good would this make decks like Esper Spirits?
Yes I would run that for sure. a 2 CMC +2/+1 buff is easily worth it. That speeds up the clock you put your opponent on once you have flying spirits out as each of them dealing 3 damage overhead is a lot.
I use that split because I didn't have 2 surgical extractions at that point. But I still kind of like both effects. Running only 2 makes it not so likely that you will have in your starting hand, and there is where extirpate shines (in the late game), because, other than a chalice, there is no way they can counter it.
Disenchant is worth considering. Instant speed can be well worth the additional mana.
I second this. Disenchant is my favorite for this exact reason.
Same here. Sundering Growth leaves you soft to Blood Moon, and Fragmentize leaves you soft to Chalice. Both are cards that see a lot of play and can easily come down Turn 2 and instantly lose you the game. Disenchant is the safest option.
Back to focusing on modern, i wanna try some weird ***** on. Got my hallowed fountain ready, only need to borrow 3 polymorphs and 1 emrakul from a friend

I know what you're doing.
Don't forget to max out on Windbrisk Heights. I don't like the land, but if you manage to hideaway an Emrakul you can even get your extra turn.
Oh okay so it's the color screw potential that gives Disenchant the edge here. Hm.
Exactly. Technically speaking Sundering growth is better because it does the same job as Disenchant, but also has the potential to produces a token. However if your opponent is a merfolk deck (that tend to enchant land with Spreading Seas) or a red deck with Blood moon, you can get mana-screwed. That's where Disenchant safer mana cost become's a strong point.
fragmentize is also a good option. Few modern enchantment/artifact have mana cost higher than 4, however if your opponent drops a Chalice of the void for 1 (Which is the usual number it's dropped at) this is useless. Also sorcery speed. Doesn't seem like a lot, but it's actually a pretty big deal in my book. If it was instant speed I'd actually consider it a lot more.

Various Leylines (Void and Sanctity especially) and Worship see play. I personally would not run a sorcery-speed card with another major restriction.
BW tokens probably isn't concerned about Leyline of the Void, but Leyline of Sanctity and Worship are both significant problems. I like a main-deck answer in addition to some side-board answers. These sorts of things along with troublesome artifacts such as Ensnaring Bride are why I run Anguished Unmaking main-deck.
That's cool you main deck it I was actually going to ask why it wasn't maindecked earlier but I decided it was probably because there was already lots of removal in the deck that has a lower CMC.

Sorry you don't get the extra turn, it says play not cast on windbrisk.
Make sure you run collective brutality, an Emrakul in hand SUCKS. I run a surprise Emrakul! tokens deck, and it's no fun when that happens.

I'm gonna stay my ground on that; Windbrisk heights works, however I can see why you'd think otherwise. Here'a thread that specifically answer the question "Does Hideaway works on Emrakul"
A quote from that thread that explain why the card uses the wording "play" instead of "cast":
The term "play" here, as a verb, means either "cast", if the card is a spell, or "play" if the card is a land. So you will indeed be casting Emrakul. It doesn't say "cast" simply because you could use it to play a land, and lands can't be cast.
With point one taken care of, I agree that having a way to discard Emrakul is needed. Liliana of the veil and Collective Brutality are probably the best way in our colors. I'm also pretty sure that blue can offers a couple of very good options at card filtering, I'm however way less knowledgeable in that department.

Thanks for the clarification! That makes a big difference in the games where Emrakul is hiding in a land and I "cast" him... which is never so far
But here's to optimism!
Is anyone planning to run both Lilianas following the change in the planeswalker uniqueness rule?
I know we have a few on this forum running Liliana of the Veil (myself included) and at least one running Liliana, the Last Hope, but AFAIK nobody is currently running both yet.

Disenchant is 1W, whereas Sundering Growth is WW in this deck (requiring two Plains if there is a Blood Moon out).
