I haven't had much success with UG.
Anyone here been to a gp before?I want to go but I'm nervous.I have been playing dredge as well but I'm loving this deck the most.If I go I'll probably take this deck if I can tune it a bit more.Lantern is still a big issue.
Now I'm using twincast as a counterspell and as extra time walks. So far it been good.Whoever suggested it I thank you.
I personally find it useless unless its late game and you can turn and this same turn.
im curious as to in what situations you play this?
It is used as a 1 or 2 of in low mine count lists if you want a strong draw 7 with Basically no draw back mid combo
Provides a lot of value early game if you finish the Interactive cards in your hand and wanna refuel
I dont Personally play it, tested just some matches.. It 's strong but nothing that you want to lose your mind for
Nice job konino. It will be cool to see the video. One thing I'm curious about: it seems like I'm in the minority with 24 lands vs. 23. I also play 4 colorless lands. Is 23 working out OK for you? I feel like I still get mana screwed more than flooded. This deck obviously likes a lot of lands. I also subscribe to the idea of "make a deck that you think is perfect, then cut one card for another land".

If you can cast a spell, you're doing well, If you can't, that's okay, too. It usually takes a few turns before you have enough mana to do anything. Meanwhile, you should figure out whether you need to discard (p.11). Then announce the end of your turn, and let your opponent have a go.
Yeah, it's more a matter of playing all the utility lands I want to play but keeping Gigadrowse and Cryptic turned on. I'll test it with 19 blue sources and see how it goes.

If that's a problem you can keep Gemstone caverns in sideboard and bring it in the main after a win

That could work. Now I have a spot for an Unsubstantiate

new banner up & some actual chunks of writing incoming as we speak.
i've made a conscious effort to really dial back on the number of images in the primer - i'm considering those of us who access the site through mobile devices or have slower connections.
i can't count the times on other primers where i've needed to quickly access a chunk of info on my phone (while playing at an LGS or at a friend's house or something) and what should have been a quick-n-easy repository of information was actually a bloated pile of JPEGs and empassioned waffle about someone's favourite deck.
I love this deck - but I feel that as a community, we need an efficient and useful primer, for everyone.
everyone OK with this? you're all welcome to weigh in on how it looks and feels as it develops.

Modern: G Tron, Vannifar, Jund, Druid/Vizier combo, Humans, Eldrazi Stompy (Serum Powder), Amulet, Grishoalbrand, Breach Titan, Turns, Eternal Command, As Foretold Living End, Elves, Cheerios, RUG Scapeshift
I never had a problem From mobile but if it is a thing i think it is super ok to drop the images
Can you rename the thread in "taking turns" instead of Time Walk? I dont know, the name of the deck is turns or at least Its How Its known for
My 2 cents

good thinking. I was just going with previous convention but you're right. Taking Turns is the more accepted name. new banner & section titles are done!
nearly done with the actual writing - it'll filter through onto the site fairly quickly.
Wow,I love it,your doing great and I really appreciate the thought for mobile users.I never get to use my home computer due to the kids and when I do I'm playing mtgo online,I spend hours on my mobile in forums.
This deck has become my personal favorite,it has serious potential for tier status imo and I have a larger paper card base to try new things such as... mystic speculation which with the buyback has been proving to be useful, possible option. ancestral vision I run a full playset in paper and zero online(too expensive),I'm currently on the fence with this one,its a savior when not hitting mine effects, dropping one turn one and another turn two ensures hitting a warp and lands.Late game it's dead though. jace beleren I run a single of,its a mine effect that usually sees a single tick before dying, dont think the value is there as a three drop. extraplanar lens is an allstar in mono blue. The ramp it provides for multiple warps or for sufficient mana to beat condescend, mana leak and such when trying to go off is huge,I feel it's a must at two. exhaustion is a must. Its so good,i run two MB. dictate and howling mine,i think I prefer mine,I've been using both and I like mine better, its that one mana cheaper and turn three I'd rather hold up a counterspell or exhaust.
That my two cents on a few cards, now for a question.Has anyone tried docent of perfection yet? I was looking at it since Titi has been a failure.
The 3 Void Snares seem a little janky but otherwise it's a decent list. The 1 Baral is interesting, as is the lack of Remand. Early Frost is actually sweet against decks like Tron and Eldrazi, didn't even know the card existed.

If I may, even though I am not a regular here it would be highly appreciated. At times, when reading the old primer too many pictures made it difficult to read or find parts I wanted to check.
So, I've finally come up with a list! Its basically just an amalgamation of things that I liked from various lists that I've seen around the internet, along with a sideboard built for my local meta. Mostly the testing I've done so far has just been on XMage, but so far things have gone surprisingly well. I wasn't expecting the deck to preform as well as it has, but I'm certainly not complaining!
Any suggestions/comments on the list are greatly appreciated.

If you aren't running Jace Beleren, Elixir of Immortality really isn't worth it imo. Also, I don't think running over 11 Time Warp effects is worth it. I'd shave the 2 Walk the Aeons and add another Part the Waterveil. Gives you 2 more slots for some more early game interaction.

i'd cut 1 walk the aeons but not drop it completely, 12 walks are fine
but the elixir without a jace yeah it is kinda meh, list should include it instead of one of the mines or just drop the elixit (maybe a snapcaster?)

I'll try cutting the Walk the Aeons and replacing it with a Snappy. Out of curiosity, why is having the elixir without Jace meh? I'm probably just missing something obvious. So far I've run into scenarios where I would have accidentally lost by drawing myself out, but was saved by Elixir.
