How important is the one-of Noxious Revival in the mainbaord? I do like what you can do with gifts piles so I think I will try it out.
I have more games where it comes up and does something the opponent hates than where it doesn't.
Like EOT Gifts getting countered so I just put it right back on top and Gifts again on my own turn and set up for a combo turn next.
Or gifting for a reducer.
Or getting a binned PiF back into the hand so I can use it twice when the other has been exiled by TKS.
Or saving something from Surgical Extraction.
Or getting a Reducer back on T3 that was played and killed on turn 2 so I can combo off.
I've even turned it into a ritual during a combo turn ; Reducer, Ritual, Morphose, Noxious, gifts in hand. I go Ritual (RRR), Noxious the Ritual back on top, Morphose to draw Ritual (UURR), Ritual (UURRRR), Gifts + 3 mana floating. Noxious reduces the randomness of Morphose (and all cantrips) draws. Anyone who has used this card and mastered it will know what I mean.
inb4 Noxious is Card Disadvantage: This deck doesn't win using card advantage.

Hello storm players, I have arrived on a solid 75 cards for the meda's I gave but there is one slot I can not decide upon in the mainboard. It used to be filled by a peer through depths but now I might change that. I'm considering either a singleton empty the warrens to hedge against GDS or the third grapeshot or a pieces of the puzzle as a more neutral hedge against death shadow. What do people suggest and why are so many people playing 3 grape shots?
How important is the one-of Noxious Revival in the mainbaord? I do like what you can do with gifts piles so I think I will try it out.
Noxious Revival is similar to Past In Flames because it recurs something that got dumped into your graveyard - I've had one local say "It's a copy of whatever the best card in your graveyard is".
Also, as Marc pointed out and I came up with, it also allows gifts piles that only have 2 redunant effects into effectively 3 redundant effects (For example, to get rid of an Eidolon of Rhetoric we can make a pile of Echoing Truth/Dismember/Noxious Revival/Draw Spell - they either give us a kill card, or revival plus a draw spell to go get it)

Maindeck Pieces of the Puzzle is a very interesting call, and against decks that main tons of discard it seems pretty good. Having a 2/1 split between Grapeshot and EtW used to be standard, but I'm personally on 3 grapeshot main with 3 EtW in the sideboard for two reason: First, 3 copies of grapeshot makes getting 20 damage grapeshot a lot more consistent, and second by not having any goblins to smash with in game 1, my opponent may be less likely to board in a sweeper to countercall EtW that comes in when I see grave hate - and if they bring in both graveyard hate to stop Shapeshot/PiF/Grapeshot wins PLUS sweepers to stop EtW wins, it's likely to dilute their deck to where they can't easily win the game.

Hey guys I am very worried about the current meta with both Death and Taxes and Grixis Shadow putting up good results. I find that both of these are very hard matchups for us.
Taxes especially due to Leonin Arbiter all but shutting down Gifts and Thalia cancelling out your cost reducing effects.
What are your thoughts on these matchups and despite their presences is storm still a viable strategy in this field?
They both suck a lot. Grixis shadow isn't quite as bad as it looks. I've said it before but play skill is a huge factor in this matchup. Pieces also makes it much more winnable.
To fight against D&T I reccomend trying out pyroclasm (much easier to cast under Thalia than Anger) and some number of Dismember. I would trim on Blood Moon to fit all of this.
I just won my first match of UR Storm online. I know I shouldn't be hyped because I've been playing Storm for years but it feels good to win (especially through a relic).
Hey everyone, I just picked up this deck and have been finding jund to be a really rough matchup much harder than ds or hatebears. Preboard it seems they are slightly favored but post board I have had insane trouble between what they get as opposed to what I get. It would probably help if I posted my list, anyone have any tips, there is enough ds, jund and rock style decks that are making me want to try leylines in my board -_-

P.S im sorry that this "wall" of text is very scary and menacing but i believe you can do it the lack of gramer and punctuation is because i have a blood fued with it due to the fact when i was four and the teacher said i would die poor and lonely and the kids would dance on my grave when i died because i could not correctly punctuate with commas

I already run 3 Bolt, 2 Dismember, 2 Echoing Truth, 2 Dispel, 3 Empty the Warrens, and 2 Vandalblast. What should I cut for PYroclasm?

You listed 14 cards, so apparently you already were prepared to add a pyroclasm.

Haha sorry I actually have a 3rd Dispel in that slot. So yeah I suppose I will need 2 cuts for the Clasms then
I don't care for 3 Bolt and 2 Dismember. It seems like a bit much spot removal for me. I would go:
2x Lightning Bolt
2x Dismember
2x Echoing Truth
3x Empty the Warrens (2x if you're running one maindeck)
2x Vandalblast (I like Shattering Spree or Shatterstorm more though)
2x Dispel
2x Pyroclasm
My first Competitive League went well. I went 4-1 with a pretty standard list. My only loss was to grixis shadow. I played against: 2 Titan Shift, 1 Grixis Shadow, 1 Affinity, 1 Grishoalbrand. I did lose a game against Grishoalbrand to: double spirit guide into manamorphose into dispel which was hilarious.

I like Vandalblast because it can kill a Chalice on 2 for one mana instead of 3/4 but you may be right that Shatterstorm/Spree is better
Hey, for which matchups do you guys side in Empty the Warrens? Whenever you suspect graveyard hate or are there specific matchups it should always come in for?
EtW is a card you board in for either Grave hate (in which case you also cut some number of gifts/PiF but probably keep 1 grapeshot) and decks you suspect Leyline of Sanctity (in which case you also cut grapeshot and some gifts but keep PiF in).
I'm still working on the specifics, but in general you want to cut remand against aggro decks, cut 2-3 gifts against Leyline/Graveyard hate decks, 1-2 PiF against GY hate decks, and sleight of hand if you need more room.

I have been using truth as a catch all, I have been Siding in a repeal and a truth in matchup where I am not 100% sure what I need to worry about, truth is great against leylines but also work great because you can gifts for it, but, it doesn't get around chalice. It is randomly can just be helpful. I side it in just because it is hard to know what people will bring in game 2. I don't normally mull for it, depending on the matchup you don't normally need it immediately. But, I am definitely a novice, take what I say with a grain of salt. Just my musings

Loving the 2 apostles blessings main. Played a game against grixis shadow where my turn 2 reducer was facing an eot push. Saved it, followed by another save from a terminate, followed by my turn3. Ritual, ritual, PiF, FB: ritual, ritual, blessing, blessing, cast grape, then FB PiF and grape again for 18 damage.
