I think Regisaur Alpha is too slow for aggro. 5 drop that swings for 3 on the ground? I don't think that's cutting it on T5/6 in most environments. More of a midrange card I feel (and not a great one at that). Ghor-Clan Rampager is fine but I'd rather run Kird Ape or even Orcish Lumberjack (if you want to enable some bursty nonsense).
Sphinx generates card advantage too. Yes if they have swords/etc it dies, but they have to have exactly that from the point you cast it to when they untap. More often than not, you're getting min 2 cards from Sphinx.
I think Gearhulk is better than Frost Titan too. I like Frost Titan more than most, but I think Gearhulk has a much higher ceiling and is more fun for that reason.
Yeah, I think sphinx and gearhulk are better than the titan. I just can't decide if I want the sphinx or the gearhulk in it's place. Sphinx I think is better on average, but it's also more of a control finisher to go along with aetherling, where as gearhulk has a really high ceiling and has a lot of utility. decisions decisions...
Hmm, maybe I should prioritize getting a sphinx if people are rating it this highly. I assumed it was somewhat middling as a 6-drop that loathed getting hit by instant speed stuff, and gets run over by tempo strategies.
But it is quite likely to draw you 2 cards at least.
I think it's by far the best blue 6 drop available. It doesn't always live, but how many answers are there for it realistically in that time frame?
Plus it's worth including just for the times when your opponent has one too and you both just continue to draw cards playing off the triggers. It's happened for us a lot (thank you Phyrexian Metamorph) and it's always hilarious.
I actually cut Aetherling for Gearhulk. Gearhulk and Sphinx are my two blue 6s now. No regrets.

Bonus question: Dryad Militant or some other card if I don't run green aggro? It feels like White has gotten some really great aggro cards recently, so I'd almost rather run something cooler in this spot, since Green doesn't want it.
Wake. It's far more unique and exciting, and without Selesnya aggro being a deck for you guys, you may as well help bolster the decks that Wake can enable.
I'm a big torrential gearhulk fan but think consecrated sphinx is clearly better than it in a powered environment, many more decks that it is very strong in.
There aren't many instant speed answers in cube to a 4/6, and even if it gets answered sorcery speed, I'm happy enough with a 3 for 1 for 6 mana.
If it lives any more than 1 turn, it becomes very hard to lose.
In decks with plenty of answers, sphinx is grave titan/inferno titan power imo. Probably my favorite 6 drop in decks that hybridize as ramp/control decks.
(control decks with a few mana rocks and a mana vault/lotus).
FWIW there are also gold bordered versions of port you can find out there easily, if you can deal with the border it's easily the cheapest 'real card' option. Some people can't get past the border, but it's never bothered me and at worst it makes the card a good candidate for alters.
*****, you could probably buy 20 gold bordered Rishadan Ports for the price of one and learn how to paint on like the first 10-15 of them.

I spent like $3 on a gold bordered Port and then gave $25 to an alterer buddy.

This. Chart a Course has been so much better than Frantic Search ever was in my storm-less cube. Never being card disadvantage and potential for +1 card advantage at 2 mana is too good to pass up.

If so, I need help deciding
torrential gearhulk vs consecrated sphinx.
I plan on adding the following as well.
abrade
fractured identity
sorcerous spyglass
and if I can manage to get one, I might add a gaea's cradle

I'd keep Militant in though.

If you can wait until Magic 25 Masters or whatever it’s called to see if it gets reprinted there, I’d do that.

2 - For aggro: Adanto Vanguard vs Cloistered Youth vs Stormfront Pegasus ? What order ?
3 - For aggro: Dauthi Horror vs Pale Rider of Trostad vs Silumgar Assassin ? What order ?
4 - Mirran Crusader vs Kinjalli's Sunwing vs Hallowed Spiritkeeper ? What order ?
Vanguard > the other two, not sure on order of the last ones.
Horror > Rider > Assassin, unless you're bolstering a Morph theme.
Sunwing/Spiritkeeper > Crusader, IMO.
