I'm currently playing Intuition but it's not doing much of anything, might try just gifts for a bit but I've been pretty unimpressed sadly.
I understand what you are trying to bring, but that combinaison gives you the card you most desire not just once, but twice. That's hell of a diffrence. But yeah, they make look the same at first glance.
I tried Intuition mostly as a reanimation enabler. For your typical single-target reanimation spell, it worked like an expensive Entomb that never put your best available fatty into your graveyard, only the second best. I replaced it with Frantic Search after a while, since it was pretty narrow. (Even if it tutored for Life from the Loam plus two lands a few times.)
Both Gifts Ungiven and Intuition would be better if we had more cubable multi-reanimation spells, like Living Death. Then the ability to put two fatties from your library into your graveyard would come in handy.
I tried Victimize once. It just has too many restrictions/drawbacks.
I am currently testing Twilight's Call though. It costs 1 too much to be truly good in cube, but getting multiple creatures back after you set up your graveyard accordingly is still a strong effect. Use Gifts Ungiven for two fatties at end of turn, untap, cast Call is a good play (as long as the opponent doesn't have a Wrath on their turn). Also, I once had that instant speed blowout after my opponent declared attackers. Oh, you attacked me when I only had a Looter out? Well, here is a Grave Titan and a Sphinx of the Steelwind and a Shriekmaw - can I declare blockers now?
I know most people are off this now, but is anyone still playing it? It's such a cool card and at 450 unpowered I've got a little room to try things for a few drafts.

I can't say I'm pleased to see you and must warn you I may have to do something about it.

I've run Gifts + Unburial Rites for a long time as I think it's pretty powerful to double entomb if you fail to search the 3rd/4th card, but it's a good card as is even without that in your deck. I could see cutting it, but I like it for now.
Yeah. Gifts + Rites is definitely a strong combination.
Depending on your cube's power level, Gifts doesn't have to be a combo piece though. It can also just be a value play. With minimal/no synergy, it's still a semi-conditional instant tutor for 4 mana that gets the 4(ish) best cards in your deck and gives you the worst 2 of those 4 (and putting the other two just out of reach). There are plenty of decks where this is easily worth 4 mana. Fact of Fiction is almost certainly better in those decks specifically, but Gifts does a decent impression and having some redundancy of this effect generally helps Ux decks. Maybe your list needs that and maybe it doesn't but consider all angles.
^ This. It's also pretty easy to draft an "almost constructed" deck in cube and once you have such a deck, Gifts is really good value.
It probably works best with green due to all of the Regrowth effects, and now that we have Magus of the Crucible, UGx Loam is even more of an archetype.
I have Gifts in my 450, but not Intuition. After this thread I am now wondering why not? I guess I will put it back in and test it.
Intuition is still playable but a lot worse than gifts. It's a lot easier for an opponent to stick 1 out of 3 in your hand instead of 2 out 4 and since it doesn't specify what kind of cards you have to find all 3. I also run gifts but only gifts at 720. Intuition is good, but most of the time decks that pick Intuition are even happier with a loot effect.
