I proxied this and ran it last night. It's as incredibly ridiculous as it looks. I got two counters on each creature and a concession... twice.
Best bit is you only need minimal green aggro support. I splashed it in W/B/g with Garruk Relentless and Lotus Cobra. Costing only 1 green made all the difference, and I even got a T2 Sorin followed by it, which was sweet.
This thing seems absolutely bonkers. Give your guys counters instead of just a +1/+1 buff makes all the difference. This seems like a must answer card in any aggressive deck or your creatures will just be ridiculously hard to deal with after a couple of turns.
For those that want to proxy for testing before they pick up the real deal, I made this last night:

Nice. Was the deck a pretty midrange-ish or control-ish BW deck?
I've been building green to be the primary token supporting color for white so this is definitely worth a test. People considering this should also look to add or test Thelonite Hermit in addition to the Deranged Hermit most people are already running.

It was B/W aggro splashing for good green stuff I got as collateral picks including the Curse I seeded in the packs, as well as Lotus Cobra and Garruk 3 as I was lacking more aggro four drops. I had a Blade Splicer and a Bitterblossom alongside several black one-drops. I didn't have many other token makers beside the Sorin, Blossom and the Garruk, but the Curse was tremendous value every time just with my attacking creatures.
Holy crap was this card amazing today. I didn't have any tokens outside of a master of waves/deranged hermit, but oh boy did it make my g/u deck hum. When you have a bunch of durdly shadow/islandwalk/flying or just 2/1's in play and you drop this, things get real bad real fast for your opponent.
Turning your BOP into threats is HILARIOUS.
I think this is the card green aggro has been dying for.
Wow, is this not the best Anthem ever? Easy to cast and in a color with a lot of creatures AND a good amount have trample/hexproof/shroud. Green aggro is a go go! Finks is sweet, sorry Strangleroot though still very playable.

Plus the power level is exceed-lying good.
I love attacking with a powerful BoP
I was playing it in a blue devotion/bant aggro deck. It was the absolute nuts with edric and geist. =). Not to mention playing a hermit or master of waves into this thing.
Yeah this card is easily on Shackles power level, but in a way that destroying the enchantment doesn't stop the bleeding, unless you have it that turn. Also enchantments are harder to hit.
Are you serious here? This card is playable, but it not a power card. It is definetely not on par with Shackles, which is one of the strongest card in the cube.
Sorry if this was meant to be irony, which is always hard to spot online.

Now I'll just be sad when the real card doesn't look as good as this
This is not as good as Vedalken Shackles: unless you have the artifact destruction that card is just miserable to play against with any creature based strategy.
I always wanted to push +1/+1 counters as a theme in my cube, and recently we've been getting more cards where they are relevant.

Okay so maybe it isn't on Shackles power level (Shackles is insanely versitile while this Curse isn't) but it's a very powerful card, not just a playable one. Sweet with Kalonia(?) Hydra, Experiment One, and Triskeleon

I would even go as far as saying Curse of Predation is good with creatures. Shackles are good with Islands, though, which is clearly better
Yes, it is a powerful card and I am looking forward to play with it!
The only time I saw this this weekend was when it turned a turn-2 Porcelain Legionnaire into a 4/2 first striker on turn-3... which eventually wrecked me thanks to removal backup.
The player who played Predation said it was amazing in the aggro mirror.

This seems like a no brainer include. Its great in tokens, turns aggro into midrange size creatures. Love it.
i'm excited to add this card. I have minimal aggro support in green, but I do support tokens which is where I think this effect is best anyway. And man do I love the mini-combo with persist guys. Wow.
You pay 1 and live to tell the tale!
