Not that I'm usually in the market for 6 mana dragons without ETB effects, but I thought it was worth giving this a bit of discussion. Steel Hellkite is probably the closest point of comparison, and while missing out on the combat damage trigger is a bummer, this can grow to obscene proportions quickly even without real support and likely be ready to activate within 1-2 turns. Maybe that's too speculative, but the raw power feels at least worthy of comment.
I like this card, and I'd be satisfied with putting it in my cube, but I don't think I'll bother ordering a copy, as it's not all that exciting for cube play. It's got all the value, but at six, you want an effective finisher, not a value monster. Steel Hellkite, and Thopter Assembly both seem a little better. Still, if someone gave me a copy, I'd run it. It's a damn cool card.
AntiPox said it all. This card seems terrible. Steel Hellkite can threaten to blow up their whole board and/or end the game if you pump it, making it a must-remove threat. This card doesn't do anything on its own.
I think people are underestimating how fast this thing gets HUGE. But still, this is by no means a cube card by typical standards. Comparing it to Wurmcoil Engine is sad. This card is always fair, which I like, but doesn't go over well with most cubers at 6 cost.
