So, I feel weird bringing this card up, because I don't have a commander cube and this specifically references commanders, but this caught my eye as an interesting include.
May not be good enough, since it's competing with Kiki-Jiki, Thundermaw, and Conscripts, but it's basically a 4/5 trampler with an end-step double-Sulfuric Vortex trigger (that domes you first). It at least provides some reach, and can trample over while surviving Wildfire. Thoughts?
It's tough because at 5 mana, aggro decks can't really play it, and with the damage hitting you first, control decks don't really want it. But the 5 toughness, trample, and Vortexish trigger, it certainly gave me pause.
So let's say you cast this t4 or t5 in a Wildfire deck. Hits you for 4 on end step. Pass turn. They do whatever. Hits them for 4. Pass turn. You Wildfire their board and attack. That seems okay.
But what about you spend a turn casting this, the end step happens, and then they kill it. So they just cast Time Walk with a Boros Charm staple to it for free. That seems bad. My 5 mana investments don't want that kind of risk.
If the trigger were at upkeep, it'd be a totally different card.

I thought about this card until I re-read it and realized it did damage to yourself too. Would rather run every Thundermaw Hellkite variant before this.
Card is pretty bad.
Hitting you first is a huge deal breaker..
It's damage potential is high but takes too long to realize considering how much it costs and how fragile the card is.
5 mana Agro only spells have to have a crazy impact the turn it comes into play and this is far from that... with a significant liability attatched to it.

Seems fun in a Commander cube though.
