Do you guys think dinosaur tribal could work in a smaller (360-520 range) cube? After today, I think there might just be a deep enough pool to spice up the generic green red ramp strategies of most cubes into a dinosaur tribal deck. Many of the new dinosaurs are more than playable by themselves, and the few which would be "bad" are significantly less so if dinosaurs are a supported archetype. Here is what a deck might look like:
I don't think it's viable in a higher powered cube, not sure about a slightly lower powered one. Besides Regisaur Alpha, the rest of the enablers seem too narrow / parasitic and the other filler dinos are pretty filler-ish.
Come Rivals of Ixalan, I can see there being enough enablers / payoff for a small theme, but not a full-blown archetype.
Not only that, but this is an example of a deck that probably has all the dinosaurs you might want to run + a bunch of others to reach dino-threshold. How often will that come together in draft? Arcehtypes work because of redundancy, and I don't think there's enough yet to begin considering the archetype.
