Creature - Zombie
Last strike (deals damage after creatures without last strike)
3/3
It is a 3/3 for 2! Relevant type, too.
But effectively gives First Strike to whoever is battling it. How big a drawback is that for such an aggressive body?
Big enough of a drawback on a 2-drop, I suspect. There are tons of other 2-drops with 3 power to nullify this, and if you're on the draw, even more 3-drops. IF this had cost B, however...
This is fine, but it's no better than an army of other two-drops, and while the ability makes total sense, and seemed almost inevitable, it's not an ability that can be synergized with in any meaningful way. Unlike other cards from the set, there's really no reason to play this over a mid-level card in the slot, such as Mardu Skullhunter or Nantuko Shade.
I know it's an un-set, but I actually really like that mechanic. If they would ever be willing to bring that into constructed, and put it on creatures that are a bit more pushed, it could be really fun. I have decks that can clear the board of blockers but have trouble closing some games, a ramp level finisher for aggro or midrange mana would be REALLY cool.

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
Whilst this isn't great it's worth noting its only a common so I am hopeful for what they would do with this mechanic at higher rarity. I could totally see a 3/3 with Last Strike for R at rare.
Rules Question: What happens it gains first strike, does it essentially have Double strike then? It seems like it would deal First Strike and Last Strike damage since its not like they would cancel each other out.
Edit: Also what happens if it gets Double Strike, does it deal damage 3 times? Unless Last Strike isnt actually adding extra rounds of combat, but rather a static ability just saying you always deal damage last regardless of any other keywords (and possibly why its silver border or avoid headaches like this).
It's not terrible - I'll probably pick up a copy for my on-deck binder, but it's really a matter of how exciting this is to my group because I think the power level is there.
I think this is better than it looks (mainly because it’s a zombie). Last Strike essentially mean it can’t tussle with an X/1 where X is = to its own toughness. Fair trade for beefier stats and a relevant creature type.
If this were a regular card, I’m not sure it’d crack my cube though just because the competition is fairly high.

I mean it's basically how Spitting Slug and Goblin Flotilla work. They're not exactly modern designs, but are plenty easy to understand and play with.
Yeah this set feels more like a goofy time spiral remake than a full un set, which I like. It's silly, but it's not full of unplayably silly cards, at least self-contained. It's like they wanted to try new stuff, but didn't want to do it in a set that could effect eternal/standard/etc.

I think you got it pretty spot on; it's half exploratory design, half unprintable cards.
In an absolutely bizarre decision, First Strike+Last Strike means that the creature deals damage twice (although at different times than double strike). I don't think that has any bearing on the Zombie's playability but I think its worth mentioning.

Seems like Last Strike is indeed another combat step by the look of it, so granting it double strike works.

So far I am fairly happy with the balance though.
