If you actually had a real way to choose all three modes it would be pretty good, but you get one, and your opponent can control which one to some degree. Seems pretty bad.
I mean I wasn't intending to use any of these cards (since they aren't in modern) but this is just a normal card... does it already exist somewhere? There is the blue one from amonkhet isn't there, but warrior creature type is relevent and its better in red.
2/1 prowess is a bad idea. Prowess is a grindy ability, unlike say a Kiln-Fiend-like explosive boost. You really want prowess on a 1/3 with some ability, so you can get value pumps and potential blowouts while you cast your draw spell or cantrip. A 2/1 stat line will never allow you to do that.

Or you play a 2/1 then cast removal precombat and get in more damage in your aggressive red deck.
I put Umara Entangler in my cube but it was a mistake for the reasons stated above. I never wanted to play it. I think it might be an overstatement that you can 'easily' get the minotaur to 4 power. I don't know how often I've cast 2 non-creature spells in a turn. It certainly isn't impossible, but even in the decks where that might happen, the other conditional red 3 power 2-drops are still likely to perform better on average.
I don't get what this card is doing in Unstable. Even the name doesn't seem funny to me. Maybe there are some black-border cards that say 'Target Minotaur gets...' that make this silly or something?
EDIT: only Anaba Ancestor which doesn't do anything different than normal.
I've read that it's a joke about minotaurs being struck by lightning in lots of red spells, but there aren't all that many spells like that that I recall.
target minotaur is a reference to minotaurs being killed in the art of a ton of spells. There was an old article series that joked about it: this is part of it. Minotaurs also used to be the sorta mascot of MTG way back in the day
We somehow got another dozen or so cards spoiled due to certain cards having different rules texts on different versions. A quick recap of everything new:
3 different versions of Garbage Elemental:
the original- a 2/4 with Frenzy 2 and cannot be block by Wordy creatures
a 6/5 last strike with batallion- creature cannot block this turn
a 3/3 with cascade and ETB deals damage to a creature based on a d6 roll.
4 different versions of Sly Spy:
the original- a 2/2 that discards the card with the longest name from that player's hand when it deals combat damage to a player
a 2/2 that destroys a creature looking left when it deals combat damage to a player
a 2/2 that causes a player to lose a d6 roll of life when it deals combat damage to a player
a 2/2 that reveals a card from the opponent's deck, puts it into your hand and you lose life equal to its CMC when it deals combat damage to a player
6 (!) different versions of Knight of the Kitchen Sink
the original- a 2/2 first strike, protection from black borders
a 2/2 first strike, protection from even collector's numbers
a 2/2 first strike, protection from odd collector's numbers
a 2/2 first strike, protection from loose lips (artwork with a creature with an open mouth)
a 2/2 first strike, protection from watermarks
a 2/2 first strike, protection from two-word names
I will definitely say the cascading Garbage Elemental is pretty good, it's a potential 3-for-1 (AND is another reason to run Proper Laboratory Attire). Two different 2/2 first strikers with protection from ~50% of the cube seems pretty good, and not as crazy as the original.
Not sure on the others, but will run some numbers to check them out.
Average damage is nice, but we're not talking about a 2d6 roll and a nice curve, we're talking about a single die and loads of variance. You're never going to roll that die often enough to create a meaningful average.
If you like some Hearthstone in your Magic cube, go for it. If you don't I'd advise people to stay well clear.
Just house rule any die roll to its low or high average if you don't like the randomness aspect. I'll probably give the choice of choosing either high average or rolling; removes most randomness, but keeps the card interesting if you need the 1-2 more damage.
You know, I had completely misread the version D Garbage Elemental to deal a d6 worth of damage to a creature instead of a player. It is funny that this makes the card both worse (cannot kill creatures) and better (a lot less variance in outcomes since you can never target a creature and fail to kill it). I get that the dice rolling aspect is a little wonky, but this feels fine to me.
Speaking of Garbage Elementals, version C is a 3/2 with Battle Cry that makes (on average) just under 2 tokens as ETB. The variance here is much more impactful, since you are directly affecting the board, but if you consider it to be just the average result, you get a pretty good package there as well.
Skyshroud Elf.
Vildin-Pack Outcast/Dronepack Kindred.
I didn't find anything else that was above very fringe playable (Soldevi Simulacrum, Initiates of the Ebon hand, etc.)
Did I miss anything?

Correct, that'd be a cost of R instead of 1 so it does not work.

Right, I was just curious if it applied to the color costs, once you flip it (for -1 after your More or Less!!!) it's pretty good.

You gotta have, like, a 900 card cube before 2/1 prowess is good enough.
This is why it is better in red than blue but that doesn't nessairily mean its good
I refuse to play an energy cards in my cube. but... Borderland Marauder,Stormblood Berserker, gore-house chainwalker and War-Name Aspirant are all "3 power" red two drops.
Perhaps the marauder is just better, just Target minotaur can easily get to 4 power and above in the right circumstance.
