Is this going to be used in Amulet Titan decks?
It works kinda like the bounce lands but provides 3 mana and winds up in your graveyard instead of your hand.
Having to sac another land might ruin that, but I’m pretty sure the deck will at least test it.
This... is probably *also* going to be banned in EDH.
The steps needed to turn this into the Griselbrand it CLEARLY wants to be are... minimal at most.
It should be considerably cheaper than the original foil was last week.
I would guess this goes for ~$50 until it starts to get rare.
Yeah, the only hint is the fire around the ring.
This looks much better than foil would for these, imo.
It looks really good to me!
Cards like this usually lack evasion.
Since this can fly, it has a good chance of making several tokens before it’s stopped.
Because it’s not hard to build a deck that this card lets you just burn through.
That said, I’m still not convinced this is any more ban-worthy than Paradox Engine.
It also seems like something that may work well in both Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord lists.
Seems like a unique take on a demon drawback.
Seems like good value.
I’d just say this rates a bit below Declaration in Stone,
so I don’t know how much room I have for it.
Also, is this art a not-so-subtle hint that Purphuros and co. aren’t in charge anymore?
Just fill this guy’s deck with cheaper PWs, PW support, and removal, and call it a day.
but I guess they weren’t feeling quite that saucy.
A shame, this could have been an EDH staple.
Not even sure why the “different names” hurdle is here.
just make sure not to mill yourself to death while doing that.
