    Guys, I have a question,
I know from Dredge that "Draw 3 cards" means, Draw a card. Draw a card. Draw a card.
So... if the opponent or us use Thirst for Knowledge , all cards must be revealed? It's kind of a tricky question Frown

If Draw 3 cards is, as you said, three instances of drawing A card, then yes. You/He draws, top card revealed. Next instances resolve the same way.

the UB one is faster, u go +1 with him then ultimate for like 18-16 damage which will kill the opponent, since they dont care how much damage they take from fetch lands since they think that u win by mill, and also u generally get to swing with trinket mage once or twice a game.

Yeah, you're right. For some reason, everytime i looked at ub tezz i saw a -5 as the cost, not -4. And even though i said i was going to try the U one, i'll probably keep the ub as a further reason to splash black. Speaking of the B splash, i accept suggestions for it.

Update: So, under no circumstances i looked on the gatherer the 57 pages and over one thousands cards that are black and modern (?). After looking for a bit, im thinking of either, Unmake for Finks and Geralf's or Executioner Capsule as it can be found with trinket mage. Im also considering a couple of Espers charm as a cantrip and a way to deal with Leyline of sanctity. Others things i looked up are Zealous Prosecution, Killing Wave, Infernal Tutor and Glimpse the Unthinkable (to accelerate the normal wincon). Im gonna test later, and come up with an updated list.

I think UB tezz is way better than mono blue. It's -1 lets you kill people in 2-3 turns once you have them locked whereas U tezz requires you to ultimate and costs 1 more mana. I don't think the search is really much better than UB's +1 because you are probably only playing tezz when you already have your pieces out. UB's ultimate is also a pretty decent way to get some extra lifegain if you are up against a burn deck. If anything, UB tezz is so good, I would try to find more cards that use black to justify running more black in the manabase. Inquistion of kozilek might be worthwhile as it lets you see their hand early on and take out the early threats while also just being fantastic vs combo decks in general. Could even run nihil spellbomb as recurrable graveyard removal where relic is 1-time use and grafdigger just seems the worst of the 3. I would also probably try to run some man-lands to help kill people once you have them locked. Has anybody considered using psychic spiral as a possible wincon? I haven't playtested the deck, so i'm not sure how consistently you can put cards into your own graveyard, but it seems like it could be worth testing.

I saw the suggestion around here for Psychic spiral, but never got around to actually using it. And yes, Ub tezz costs less, but whereas you have to attack several times with it, U tezz goes something like this. 1) Play it. Untap the lock. Next turn: Kill it, swing with a load of artifacts. It's actually faster than ub tezz imo.

Elixir seems like a really good idea, it does however kill the recursion theme of the deck since you end up sending a lot of stuff back into the great beyond (your deck).

I like the idea behind condemn, that reminds me, better idea than Loxodon Peacekeeper: Wall of Shards.

I like the deck overall. And what I think really stands out about this deck in general is how easy it is to tailor it to your meta it seems, just get the core, then everything else is there for smooth sailing.

That's why there is only one in the main. Mostly for the life gain, not so for the shuffling graveyard theme. The others in the side are in case im against something with loads of countering and i need to get back the pieces.

My doubts now are set on the black splash. I set for it as adding a third color allows me to choose from a wider pool of cards and things good & cheap, but i have yet to find something that goes with the deck, both theme-wise and gameplay-wise that's worth the splash. Consume the meek fits (barely the bill) but it just isn't enough reason for the splash.

Oh, and mention. My meta is quite simply, weird. VERY. WEIRD. Last week modern was a couple of weenies, a couple of bant, an affinity, a lone jund and about HALF of the decks were RDW. Yeah, circle is actually useful...

Well, finally a deck that got interested me enough to create an account on MTGSal OMG

Silly facts aside, im testing a budgeted build with splashed black that im actually considering building for real.

I added the Elixir cause it fits the deck perfectly. You can search it with Trinket, gives you back cards countered/destroyed, buys you time AND its cheap and easily available.

CoP: Red goes in cause... well. It's a silly deck and its cheap.

The Tezz is the alt win, though after some testing im thinking of using the monoblue tezz.

The painlands are cause im cheap and here shocklands are way too expensive for me.

The Condemn also fits the deck a lot better than Path to exile. Giving them life is less annoying than giving them life.

And if you notice the sideboard is only twelve cards it's because im still debating what should go in. thought about Leyline of the void, but it makes the graffdigger redundant. Consume the meek is too slow. Maybe disenchants against challices and leylines of sanctity.

EDIT: If someone would tell me how to break, so the deck doesn't look overly long, i WILL (maybe) appreciate it.

Well, i finally made an account here. I check the forums quite often to look for inspiration for new decks and see if any new card got spoiled but only just now i saw a post that hooked me up enough to create an account. So...

    HELLO everyone.
