Some decent reprints here. If the rest of the decks are good, I wouldn't mind picking some up. At the very least, I am a huge fan of the new Niv and Aurelia arts and happy that they finally brought back Niv Mizzet's flavor text.
I've posted elsewhere about not feeling compelled to buy these, but I will look at singles. Some that come to mind are: Treasure Nabber: Breya can sac what it steels and it seems like a good card to have around in any case. Could also be a source of ramp for Kalemne. Echo Storm might be strong in Breya. Estrid's Invocation looks useful for copying pillow fort effects in Oloro. Tawnos, Urza's Apprentice might go in Breya. VS Kurkesh, copying triggered abilities is big but so is tapping and paying an extra mana.
Wow what a letdown. I guess the artifact and enchantment lists are okay but I kind of have those things covered with my current decks. The lack of exciting reprints and the omission of the on theme reprints that are only a few bucks (Titania, Angry Jellybean, Gitrog and Splendid Reclamation come to mind for the abysmal Jund deck). The decrease in overall value and power combined with a five dollar raise in MSRP make an otherwise meh product feel almost like a slap in the face. I do like the new cards, and will keep an eye out for some of them for my decks. I don't see myself buying a sealed one of these however.
That these are the deck that get moved up five dollars is, quite frankly, laughable. Sure, there are some notable reprints, but not as many as in previous years. The Jund deck in particular is a mess. It is unfocused and misses key cards for lands.decks. I hoped the five dollar increase would at the very least signify some more rare lands (checks, cycles, tangos), but the mana bases are the same if not worse than previous years (last year's decks had some rare utility lands at the very least). This seems like a good year to focus on singles and tweak my existing decks. There are some interesting new cards, but I could probably pick up what I want for less than forty and have less chaff sitting around. Very disappointing considering the usual quality of this product.
This card is a beating; I love it! In Breya, I can even gobble up their mana rocks for my benefit. The sol ring in the art is on the nose and very much appreciated.
This is a really interesting card. In the 99, the closest comparison is Kurkesh. Captain Kurk is more expensive and only hits activated abilities but doesn't need to tap and only costs one mana per activation. I'll probably try this in Breya because copying triggered abilities from cards such as Sharum and Sharding Sphinx sounds fun. For those not into Breya, this seems like a sweet UR commander - definitely my favorite of the deck.
All of these were designed specifically for the tutorial, so there probably isn't a reason to freak out too much. With that said, I strongly dislike the precedent of favoring digital to paper, even if it seems an opportune way to get new players. Hopefully these stick to the tutorial, where they do their job admirably.
This is an interesting design. In most cases (read: inexpensive generals), it wont cheat much if any mana. I'm not sure those are the decks for this, even though it is worth noting that you can use the mana you save to cast something else. Being able to cheat your general in and cast something else could be relevant in voltron, which wants to make sure its general is hasty and/or protected. Where I think this card will fit best is in decks with enormous generals. The dream match seems to be something like Bosh, Iron Golem, since this an be recurred in that deck and constantly represents five damage. If this doesn't pan out anywhere, I suspect it will be because combat damage is too difficult to procure, though hopefully trample will eliminate that. A cool card, but I can't help but miss the days when spoiler season started with a general previewed at a large convention. Oh well.

The cards are:
Explosive Vegetation
Rampaging Baloths
Scute Mob
Centaur Vinecrasher (already in its own thread)
EDIT: On a related note, Gavin says there are three more new cards being shown today, two of which are land matters (why these weren't shown earlier to promote a lands matter deck is anyone's guess).
