Haven't seen any discussion about this kind of deck so far, so I thought I would bring it up. Seems like it has been performing decently over the past month or so.
Here's a decklist for people that don't want to check the link
Vessel has brew potential at least. And the Demon land could be janky fun in a tokens shell (watch for it in the casual MTGO rooms folks, I'll be playing with both. :p)
Pentad Prism brings us up to 12 ways of developing 5 mana on turn 3. Anything strong we can do with that, particularly in red?
Ad Nauseum came to my mind as being the most popular deck that relies on acceleration not named ritual.
Vessel of Volatility has been spoiled and it seems like it could be a nice upgraded accelerant if we can drop this turn it gives us access to more turn 3 kills. Bloom only comes off suspend on T4.
Here's a note. I think the remands are somewhat counterproductive to the inclusion of Eidolon and Monastery Swiftspear. Swiftspear really wants you to be tapping out for prowess triggers and Eidolon will hurt you even more if you're behind on life against another aggro deck.
If people really hate Roast we do have the option of Harvest Pyre It scales to kill even the meatiest goyf and hits flyers as well. Of course it won't answer the early x/5's that frequently kill us, but it is an option people were trying before roast was printed.
Also I did just get 5th at my SCG States. Here's my list if anyone wants to check it. Don't mind the off color fetches, I'm a bum.
Hi, working on a Modern deck recently I liked the look of some of the new cards Black and Red got so I put this together. It's sort of like Greenless Jund or Blueless Grixis Midrange. The Small Poxes and Crack the Earth's combo really well with Young Pyro as you can sacrifice the elemental token on the resolution of the spell. Currently every creature in the MB creates value and the rest of the deck is removal and disruption. Let me know what you think.
Hey guys looking for a strong anti-meta deck that can smash Grixis Control and GW Tron. I'm currently thinking about Bogles but I wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions.
terrible, unplayable. what matchup do you want this? if you want 4 drops play Thunderbreak Regent or Jace Architect of thought. or even gifts ungiven.
Might even rather play venser.
How about any matchup that wants to trade 1 for 1? Thunderbreak dies to a terminate/path and Jace is not putting 3 bodies on the table. Basically they can bolt the Parents and you still get 2 power in the air which can be used to whittle them down or chump. The card obviously isn't proven, but I don't think you can dismiss it so easily.
Hey guys, I've got more sb questions. So I play this guy who runs GW Tron and G 1 usually goes OK but in G2 and 3 like 40% of his deck is twin hate. Like 4x spellskite, Torpor Orb, Ghostly Prison, Nature's Claim and mainboarded paths. Is it correct to just try to beat him down or should I keep the combo?
What tools can people think of besides maybe Keranos, Jace AoT, and Teferi to sb in G2 and G3? Are there other things that improve our Grixis Control matchups?
Not sure if this has been pointed out yet, but now that we have confirmation that the Thopter Cabal has infilitrated WOTC at the highest levels of development it's only a matter of time before Sword of the Meek is unbanned to fuel the thopter revolution.
I've had a Jace, Architect of Thought in my sideboard for a while and I never seem to bring him in against anything. Is he really only good against souls decks and maybe the mirror?

This deck went 4-0 in a daily. It's running 2x Pia and Kiran Nalaar what do you guys think about their inclusion?
