Way to buy into propaganda. And the Trump reference about "locker room talk" - way to push your political agendas on a card game forum and assume your opinions are the status quo, and the only right way to think. That's why everyone is sick of liberals and SJWs. Arrogance and ignorance. No one gives a damn bro, we're here for card games. Get over yourselves and off your righteous soapbox.Posted in: Articles

I am pleased to finally have a Calix I can use as a Commander. I hope he will have a regular art version, instead of strictly constellation one. Seems he and many PWs returned to their respective home planes.
Kiora is interesting, especially as sea monster support. Rather unwieldily at 5 mana though. Making her a 2/3 for 3 might have worked better. I'll need to re-read a clearer image of her, but I wonder if her ability can keep triggering. She is surely on Zendikar though, there's no chance or reason for her to return to or strand herself on Theros.
A potential return to Theros sounds exhausting, with all the ground and residual plot it must cover, assuming it ever resolves any of it.
So brilliant, so excellent, so exceptional
So everything
that upon seeing it, I ran down the stairs, threw myself onto the bed with a dramatic thud, sending the sheets skyward in an eruption of fabric, buried my head into the pillow like a Disney princess, and wailed the pure agony of overflowing tears into the saturating cotton
for I knew in this moment
that wait for these, I could not
I asked my friends to use this as a Simic Growth Chamber so I can play both this and the original in the same deck (original as Arixmethes himself)
I'm still so shell-shocked (yaaaas puns) that I have yet to even properly respond to this actually. I freakling ADORE this constellation Arixmethes. He deserves to be represented in Nyx!
I really would love new versions of him as well, with new, creative takes on his abilities to capture the unique nature of his size and status as Thassa's pet <3
He is so adorable. I love how the Theros gods have pets. Hopefully Polukranos will be healed. His new art is absolutely stunning, and Nylea finally has him back. Here's to Arixmethes having multiple iterations like Polukranos does (And Thraxes finally appearing on a card....)
I feel like certain gods were always predisposed to side with Phyrexia by nature, such as Phenax, who had no qualms stirring chaos with Ashiok previously, compleated or not. I would really like to know the status of the pantheon on Theros, how the invasion transpired and resolved there in detail, and especially Ephara's place in it in the end. It's unusual to see a minor god defeating a major one as depicted here. Yet we only have direct confirmation of one of the three compleated gods.
I'm rather surprised such a massive creature isn't in Nyx like Polukranos originally was, frankly. There's no way he wouldn't at least have his own constellation. Such an elegant beauty of a kraken.
I remember missing the pincers at first back in 2018, but noticed them shortly afterward, underwater. Arixmethes appears to have tentacles near his mouth in the original art, which are a bit underscored in the new art, but the constellation artwork isn't meant to be as detailed and still appears gorgeous. I love that there's a subtle indication of the Arixmethes city as well.
WHICH I HOPE HAS A LEGENDARY LAND CARD SOMEDAY LIKE OLANTIN
