Generos Gift: I can't see someone playing this over all the 3 and 4 drop O rings we have. Beast Within is good because it's in a color with a lack of creature removal. And people don't play beast within.
Imposter of the Sixth Pride. Unless you are a triblal cube I can't see Changling being enough to get me to play a Blade of the Sixth Pride. Cool flavor text though.
Sisay, Weatherlight Captain I can't see a white deck wanting this. You have to have a real weird legendary cube to want this.
Pndering Mage: I don't run Kavu Climber and blue alreday has a 5 drop creature that draws cards. And this is no Mulldrifter.
Changling Outcast: See comments about Imposter.
Undead Augur: Cool if you support the Pox deck.
Planebound Accomplice: Planeswalkers strength is from getting incremental advantage. This doesn't do that.
Ravenous Giant: Peasent cubes might play this. Cool card. I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out.
Scrapyard Recombiner: I only run 4 constructs in my cube. I wish there were more playable artifact creatures in general.
This is one of those cards that if someone told me it was good I would say "Yeah I can believe that" but if someone told me it was bad I would say "Yeah I can believe that".
I will definetly be playing this in addition to Mother of Runes no porblem. It also might replace Mother of Runes in my Bohemian Cube. Mom was always a bit too good there and this is a fantastic way to slightly depower that card.
Currently I run Rav/Rev/fetch/Misc in my cube. These will be replacing the misc slot in the enemy colors. Hissing Quagmire is the only man land I am really going to miss.
Just curious as to why you didn't include the enemy check lands? They are in innistrad and are much better than the common etb tapped cycle. Since you are willing to have cards from outside Innistrad in the cube I would probably run the full cycle. And since I want 2-3 sets of duals in a 360 card cube I would strongly consider doubling up and running 2-3 of each check land.
So it's been years since I've had a traditional cube. Been looking through other people's lists and I've decided to put together a new list and proxy it out. Things that I've noticed.
1. The amount of creatures that are just vanilla or french vanilla creatures once they hit the board is pretty high. In an effort to get value out of every creature immediately once it hits the field I think we have sacrifice more interesting board states. This isn't a negative, just an observation. But one that I want to try to account for by making an effort to include more creatures that have global and activated abilities on the field. More Brightlings and Benalish Marshals.
2. White is in a situation that red was in years ago. Everything in the color is either a dude or removal. I need to look for more cards that make more interesting deck building choices. Like opposition, recurring nightmare, sneak attack or birthing pod.
3. It's always interesting after a hiatus to see what cards you once thought were 100% cube staples that you don't see in lists. Serendib Efreet was about as much of a staple as a cube could have but I see it not be used in lists from people I respect the opinion on. There are other such cards but that was the first one that really stood out to me.
4. Conversely I'm amazed at the cards that I've never felt were that good that are still in people's list. I've never liked Flickerwisp but yet it's still being played in good numbers. Glad to see Faith's Fetters finally kick the bucket.
Wow. This is a masterpiece. Highest praise. It must have taken a lot of searching to find this much perfect art.
You really managed to capture the look of the game's youth. It's amazing how much more they were doing with the art back then. Imagine if cards still looked this good... I'd hire you for art-director.
Honestly, I have nothing to say but congratulations. This is probably the coolest cube I've ever seen.
Edit: I drafted the cube, and noticed that Carrion Feeder is missing the "can't block" text. I assume it's a mistake.
Thank you for the praise.
Let me add Carrion Feeder to the list of things I need to fix if I ever get back to working on an update to this project.
i just discovered this cube, its almost perfect.

man those artworks show the difference between art and the generic fantasylook we got like no other, where did you find all those. a lot seem to be custom made for the card.
Mostly stole stuff from deviant art. Very few arts were made specifically for this project. Some minor editing in photoshop was normally enough to get the job done. I did paint the art on Pack Rat, Psychatog, and Stoneforge though.
is this still an ongoing and rebalancing project?
I'm planning on doing a 90-120 card expansion yearly.
do you have a hq source for those images and/or cards.
After the Space: The Convergence cube got taken down I've been very hesitant with sharing the card renders from my cube. I've been worried about a C&D from wotc. Especially, besides the three arts that I painted for this set, I didn't get permission from anyone to use their art on these cards.
So the box topper adds almost $56 to the price of a box or $2.33 per pack. That seems pretty *****ty.
Box of 24 packs =$335.76 or 13.99 per pack
3-pack Blister=34.99 or $11.66 per pack
11.66*24=279.84
Talk about getting raked over the coals for the box topper. For reference $60 is the amount it costs to buy red dead redemption 2. A video game that cost hundreds of millions of dollars to produce. Wotc sure has an inflated sense of what a tiny piece of cardboard with a pretty picture should be worth.
My favorite card of all time is Stoneforge Mystic. I have done really well in legacy with it. Hell I even have a playset altered to be the ninja turtles.

For reference my UW section in my first cube back in 07 was Absorb, Iridescent Angel, Teferi's Moat, Azorius Guildmage, and Court Hussar.
