Hi,
I tested your list yesterday against bant spirits and it did not work good (at least as good as I expected). My list worked better against that deck (although my list is not perfect and think can be improved a lot).
I'm playing a Boros soldier version and it's working really fine. I´m trying to center also the deck (besides winota) in preeminent captain which can function as a backup plan. The bad thing is that in pioneer there is no soldier lord (hope wizards print anything to solve that).
If you are interested I can post it.
The problem I see with Arashin Foremost is that you need that the other warrior trample (and have a high damage ratio) ir order of being able to kill in one attack. I see you are using goblin rabblemaster and goblin piledriver as creatures with high attack ratio and legion loyalist to give them trample (but I think you would need more trample here to ensure you are passing opponents defenses every single time). The embercleave can help here also, but I also don't like the clause in rabblemaster making every of your gobbos having to attack each turn because sometimes they are going to die before being used profitably with winota, isn't it?
Anyways I'm going to test your list also to see what happens. It seems to be funny
I'm still in doubt. If I have Zirda, the Dawnwaker for example as a companion in my Sideboard, can I have the other three copies inside my deck?
I mean, it would be legal to have a companion (and declare it at the begining of the game), and the other remaining copies (x3) in my deck in order to being able to have the first one (that was outside the game) for casting when I want it, and three more copies in the deck so, if the one that was in the sideboard is killed I have chance to draw another from my deck to replace it?
I'm building a RB deck based on hazoret's favor, god-pharaoh's gift and creatures that his strength matters(beside combat I mean).
I've been playint it and wins lot of games, although sometimes is bit inconsistent and I have the feeling that I'm missing some cards to finally broke it.
As you can see there are lot of cute combos and synergies inside.
Only for marking some of them:
- Favor + kingpin = hit with a 4/5 and put 4 goblin tokens
- favor + butcher = deal 3 in combat and 3 more when dies
- kingpin/butcher + stamina = LOF, put tokens or deal damage and keep the creature to continue the party
- gift + kingpin = fill all the board with plenty of tokens
- gift + butcher = beat with a monster that deals 4 when dies
- propector + goblin tokens = Cast GOGP from your hand
- Prospector : reach 3 mana on turn 2 and put aother creature to GTA
- Supplier + Stamina = Mill 9 cards to the grave
- favor + supplier = mill 6 and deal 3 damage
- Judith + any other creature = profit (more when you have lot of gobbos or creatures that look his power to do something)
- Bloodsoaked champion + favor = 4/1 haste each turn
- Relentless dead + any zombie + it dying= reusable zombies
- Relentless dead + any zombie + favor = reusable zombies + 4/2 amost unblockable guy
- Dreahorde arcanist + Stamina = Reusable trick that also pumps
- and much more fun Wink
I'm very satisfied with my list right now, but I think it needs little tweaks and feel that something is missing.
Things I would love to have:
- I would like to have more creatures that act as removal. Something like shriekmaw, martyr of ashes, etc. The options in this slot are very expensive (being ravenous chupacabra the goal of this function (but it should be better if it would be cheaper (and even better if it would be a zombie or goblin also)). The options i have in mind here are goblin chainwhirler (the RRR hurts a lot), fleshbag marauder and friends, and ravenous chupacabra (which is very expensive).
- Creatures that act as mass removal (something that is a creature and deals 2+ damage when enters the battlefield)
- A way to recover gates when they go to the grave (sometimes you mill them but can't recover). Something like goblin welder would be superb but you know....
- Another creature (besides butcher, krenko) that does obscene things looking to its power (so favor increase this effect).
I'm going to share with you my list because although it wins lot of games sometimes is bit inconsistent and I have the feeling that I'm missing some cards to finally broke it.

I'm working on my own list of rakdos sacrifice deck (based on hazoret's favor which is a card I always tried to break) with medium success although I'm liking it a lot!!
i have doubts about how the new cards can be played. I mean: Foulmire Knight can be played in each of his modes? Should be played in order (first draw and later the guy)? Can be haakoned in both modes btw?
I also always loved the haakon route, and right now, I'm very intrigued in a list I developed in the past (although it worked really fine, it was discarded because all the grave hate), but now I would like to see if it can compete in the new meta (and even more with eldraine cards!!).
The deck has some plans A) swarm cheap knights and tokens and win via history. B) Use haakon recursiveness to kick out the opponent from the game. C) fire off the opponent with the corpse and all entering the battlefield triggers (you can use bloodline on each turn. In previous versions Squee, goblin nabob help me on this task but in the last lists I don't have enough pay offs to include them in the deck and even more with all the grave hate ramping everywhere thanks to hogaak. Anyways it can be included with smallpox as well to get advantage of this).
Another thing I'm very intrigued abouth is if the list with colossus hammer and sigarda's aid and the so is competitive enough for modern. Does anybody tested those lists?
And combo nicely with knights, making them able to attack for a lot even at surprise (my opponent see only a knight so attack me with everything and in my turn crack fetch, search grave, cast training ground and beat for a bazillion)
There could be another combo . Sorin, Imperious Bloodlord + Arcane Adaptation + emrakul (insert another fatty of your choice here) but perhaps it would be very marginal or fringe to try it?
In my testings this list works good, any advice is welcome also!!
You always have greater gargadon for sac and more profit. I used a deck like this one in the past, lot of time ago, and used gargadon for more profit and slithermuse to refill my hand
I like the deck you posted (link) but was not sure about blood artist and asylum visitor. Have you tested it without changes?
My thoughts:
I realized about the synergy of Indulgent aristocrat and cordial Vampire which can be gross, but to work properly need a good amount of vamps in the table.
Also the deck lacks of removal and that sometimes can be an issue (and also removal will benefit to cordial vampire. I was even thinking if using force of dispair as a gross way to deal with aggro decks and win if the overextend a little (this + cordial vampire is nuts!!)
Beside of that I always thought that deathtouch & lifelink vampires are the best ones (moreover if you can recur them) so I'm thinking on using gifted aetherborn and his new friend Vampire of the Dire Moon so you have removal on legs or "unblockable guys", and even better because they are going to grow a lot with cordial and the so.
Finally there is a vamp that I always loved and that works great in madness versions Bloodhall Priest and is a finisher on legs usually when you are hellbent.
Also new Sorin seems awesome on paper. Have to test it, but because hype is probably that it will have more price than it deserves. Hope they print a promo version with a more bautiful art
I would like to test all this things together but not sure how to do it. Perhaps the following list to begin with:
I tested your list at the beginning but I'm not very sold on it (because I tested it against some pet decks I have and it doesn't win consistently), but since the printing of the new vraska I thought that she would be bonkers in this deck and well She has been already suggested
Also I think there are lot of good creatures with deathtouch for your GB list like Gifted aetherborn and vampire nighthawk that will also help you to close the game while survive a lot.
Finally I was thinking if with the new vraska a mono black list would be possible (perhaps including red splash for whip), but I've always wanted to build a succesfuld assassins deck (that by the way usually have deathtouch) and that can exploit tribal assassins shenanigans (Scarblade Elite I'm looking at you ). If I build the list and you are interested I can also share.
As all you know I'm always brewing for new decks and tying to innovate so I usually post here the decks that at least have some success.
For some time I've tried to build a deck using training grounds (yes, another training ground deck) but don't want to do the same things ather people does so I try to build my own path.
Also because I like red a lot I wondered what happens if I try to build a izzet deck that works wonders with grouns and that don't fold if you can't find one. Also because I want to innovate, then no izzet guildmage manamorphose combo is included here.
After lot of testing I've developed a list that is working very very good and that does obscene things with grounds out but works fine also without grounds.
Because the deck can't rely only in training grounds I serched for another plan that fits well here and found that red devotion is perfect for this deck so cards try to fulfill both roles. Because of that I added Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx so I have plenty of mana because Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx or I have a great reduction because grounds (or a festival with both). Because of that I use creatures that benefit from cost reduction and that provides devotion for plan B.
In the testings this deck performs really good. Also have aouts for lot of situations and side can cover the blanks against other strategies that it can fold to.
Anyways there are some doubts I have so far:
1) Does lightning bolts worthwhile?: It can sound blasphemous but I found lot of situations were I wssihed bolt was another thing. Only 3 damage for a card which costs R is not good enough :P. I thought on including some demigod of revenge or flamewake phoenix, but don't want to rely on graveyard because all grave-hate you can find and also because they didn't benefit from the main plans and only provide devotion
3) Should I include braid of fire for more fun? It sounds useless most of the time and also slow so I discarded it without testing it but may I be wrong?
4) I'm working on SDB. Right now I think I should play some kind of grave-hate (not sure what), Blood Moons, shattering Spree or by force to wreck affinity and the so and prbably some number of bonfire of the damned.

Later I'll continue writing but all your help is welcome!!
Lot of thanks!!
