So it looks like we're getting a new toy in RtRtR! Don't know about you guys, but this thing looks like a complete monster that I can't wait to test out. If you get lucky with it you can mill your whole library.
Why would a sac outlet be particularly good in this deck? And I'm currently building thisdeck with a Doomsday package, with Emrakul, the Promised End and Nexus of Fate (as much as its existence leaves a bad taste in my mouth).
You're not kidding. When God-King Prid3 was foaming at the mouth over that card I said screw it I'll give it a whirl, and what do you know it won me 2 games first time I sleeved it up. Packing another couple Damnations and white hate cards in the wishboard make this deck a complete monster.
Been doing some testing with Liliana, the Last Hope and she's pretty bonkers. Still been kinda tied down to the whole Zombie recursion theme though, and starting to wonder if the other possibilities are any better. Is there a preferable decklist you're running now?
A lot of new sets have come out in the past few months, have any of them added anything significant to the decklist? The new Lilis both seem good (Though with a pricetag to reflect that...), and I'm personally a big fan of Gonti.
So I jammed the 8x Prison style deck for about a week and it does a lot of work. You're pretty much untouchable past a certain point, even with everyone directing all hate they can find at you. While Future Sight+Top did an absurd amount of damage when it was out, I didn't get it out that often and when I did it felt very win-more.
Makes sense, black does allow running of Fleshbag Marauder type effects though. Thoughts on decent lands aside from basics or other cards to fill out the deck?
My question for you is? Is this decent enough? Are there too many taplands? Should I stick with Esper and add some spot removal (go for the throat?) or stick with UW and narrow down the mana base some? Any suggestions are helpful!
Hey, been a while since I've build anything particularly spell-focused and wondered to myself is a deck centered around Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge any decent? Using it to cast spells like Dark Intimations is obviously great, but can it consistently get to the point where it can slam out those powerful spells very often, ideally with a decent backup plan?
