Quote from nookularboy »@OfurTheSalty Thank you, glad to hear you like the deck. Also, thanks for the /r/Scaepshift shoutout lol.
Like others said, if you're looking for the effect something like Expedite would be all around better. Easily giving haste to Titan is what would make it broken (see pre-ban Amulet Titan deck), so most of the effects that allow you to do that aren't easy to use. Someone suggested Samut, which seems reasonable but would require you to cast both Search for Tomorrow and a 2 mana ramp spell to hit this and your titan on curve. If you're already playing Amulet, you could just put a Boros Garrison and Slayer's Stronghold in your manabase (that's would strictly be for fun).
@afosz The deck has no way to win on turn 3. There are a few a ways to do it with Amulet, but are a little more convoluted. You can win with 4 lands, Scapeshift, KHE, and Omen, but that happens on turn 4 as well.
You're right. Miscalculate on that one, my bad.

Decks from mid-2015 to now with Prismatic Omen
Decks from mid-2015 to now without Prismatic Omen
Decks from mid-2015 to now without Omen or KHE
As you can see, there are plenty of examples for all 3 configurations (including mtgo lists). If you want to narrow down the time window, the search function is easy to use. To me, the question isn't "which one is better" but "which one in which meta". Omen also suits some people's play-styles better.

I run that split (lacking the Catacombs). Pithing Needle is a little narrow, but Surgical Extraction comes up a lot. I agree, its free for us to do and there is essentially no downside.

I like this change on Nexus' part to group the two decks together for meta representation. If you're playing something else, you're gonna plan against it in pretty the same way so its better to have a more accurate representation of how much Valakut is running around.
@Louie, you'll find that the cards that are good against you, you can't do much about (i.e Slaughter Games). The deck is pretty grindy in that you have some level of inevitability with Valakut, so you can be favored in games that grind out.

2-3 is a good number for the SB for either card.

@AxelStollScientist Leyline is probably the most important card you can't remove. If its not prevalent in your area then it couldn't hurt to see how natural state performs. Overall, I think Nature's Claim is better since its unconditional.
Thrun is a very good card in the SB. I played with it for a while and it does exactly what you'd expect. If you're up against UWR often, can't hurt to dedicate some SB space to it.
