Unfortunately not, they have main deck and/or SB Repeal, Hurkyl's Recall and Echoing Truth. They bounce end of turn, then untap and go off for the win. Same way the generally get around Leyline of Sanctity. Also, Chalice on 0 shuts a good portion of our deck off as well.
I went 3-1 at a local tournament with this build earlier tonight:
2-0 vs Enduring ideal - MVP Cryptic Command
0-2 vs Cheerios - brutal match up, not really sure what the game plan can be here
2-0 vs Mono W Martyr - Midrange creature decks are generally a meal for us
2-0 vs Mono W Taxes - Dessert. Although, Thalia can be a pain
The build felt great, so stream lined. I didn't come up against any Pheonix, Dredge, Shadow or Burn; interested to see how chalice fairs out of the board vs more T1 strategies.
Bonus rounds: Also played a few casual matches against my friend who was on UW Control. This kind of Ux control match up seems excellent for us as we are able to out draw and out control them. If some powerful blue cards are printed in Modern Horizons and the meta starts to shift in a more controlling direction that would likely be good for UR ElectroEnd.
TLDR:
-Midrange creature match up is great
-Cheerios is tough
-More testing vs Tier 1 decks needed
-Ux Control can be out controlled by this counter heavy build
Does anyone have a post-Electrodominance Grixis list? I've been trying to work one out myself but to little success. Not sure if it's the right direction in the slightest but playing both dominance and as foretold looks like it can result in a pretty consistent combo if you throw in mausoleum secrets as extra living end copies...
I've messed around with a list or two, but I kept feeling like it wasn't as consistent as UR with cyclers. Also i'm not sure if it's nececairy anymore, the big draw that i could tell of playing the Grixis list is that you could drop As Foretold, cast living end and then go infinite with kiki/exarch and win on the spot. One of the disadvantages of the Mono U list was that you were quite vulnerable to Supreme Verdict or Terminus on you oponents turn after you have cast living end. Kiki/exarch got around that. However, now that we have Electrodominance we can wait until our opponents end of turn, cast electro into living end (with counter backup if needed) and then swing for lethal on our turn without ever giving our opponent another main phase.
That said, I love the spice of it and I also would be very keen to see any current lists anyone is working on.
After seeing the most recent 5-0 list, this is my adaptation I'm intending to take to my next tournament:
Do we need a two threads, one for control decks with a Living End finish and another for the more all-in versions with Kiki combos?
Personally I suspect we can probably house both variants as a stronger build will likely emerge. As long as it's 'U/x Living End + As Foretold' I think it can be explored here.
This iteration of the deck is probably the best since I started playing it. White mana conflicts a bit with Bojuka Bog and the impossibility of suspending Living End from the hand (which comes handly in Midrange mus, according to my previous testing) but Path and white removals from the sideboard have been astonishingly good for me. I just have to find something to replace Relic/Surgical from the board, given that I cannot use Spellbomb anymore.
I would 100% play this again.
Great to hear you have been enjoying and having success with the deck, do you think with the stalling ability of your deck (due to path to exile) that you could afford to play drift of phantasms as a tutor for as foretold?
The second is a way to reuse Living End from GY with As Foretold (if I'm correct on ruling on this), a way to filter draw / fill GY, reuse Toolbox cards or good cards such as Remand or a late Cryptic (6 mana is huge, I know)
I've been off testing other jank, but came back to this deck because of Mission Briefing, has anyone been testing it?

Oh, there is 1 difference: I swapped one mountain for one Zhalfirin Void. I liked ZV a lot when it worked, but fear for the game that I goo myself for not having enough red land sources. Deck hums along - wouldn't make any changes at this time.
Inclusion of ZV was what I posted about on the Sep 10th; I'm curious, a lot of games I've been playing with the full 4 ZV I have always had red on t2 either from scry, SSG or mountain, Gemstone on the draw etc. from there rituals can get more, chandra also adds 2R from her ability. With all this I haven't felt at risk of not having enough red when needed. Do you think your apprehension is just a fear or have you encountered borderline situations?
Is this good in UR Balance?
Greater Gargadon is the sac outlet of choice as far as I'm aware.
