    I mean.

    It kind of is.

    Like, some people just haven't posted since I said that and it could be some of them are wolves waiting to see where this ends up before taking a stance.

    Could also be wolves trying to save you and that's why Togs is getting so much heat. Whether for a later mislynch because my PoE is wrong or for some other reason.

    Could also also be that Togs is just a wolf and no one is defending him.

    I *will* reiterate that I don't think I've ever heard of a wolf medium, but he also claimed AH abilities so I want a full claim.

    No, not even a mention of Hastur or the King in Yellow from the "transformation" flavor. Just becoming incredibly sad after reading the play and deciding to take revenge on those who deserve it and bringing peace to the town, then finding a knife in the street. Or something like that.

    But no, it does not permit me to do anything. It grants a passive with a rather cryptic effect. Exposing its effect reduces its effectiveness a great deal, but I'm not likely to actually trigger the passive, I think, and once I am dead and the Sign is willed to another the effect as well as the bearer would be public knowledge.

    It simply "permanently banishes an Elder God sent against the bearer" (paraphrased).

    My speculation is that some of the cult powers are invocations of the Elder Gods and the Sign removes those powers from the using cultist if they target the bearer.

    No, the Scroll of the Elder Sign *is* a weaker Elder Sign. It's identical other than that it doesn't give us sanity.

    If I was at a PC I would check to see if Shadow and DoTA are spawn of the same Old One, if they're different that may partially confirm my hypothesis.

    Guys, I started play with a weaker Elder Sign, so either it doesn't block the serial killer or I'm not the serial killer.

    I'll let you debate that among yourselves I guess.

    My guess is that all of the wolves are spawn and the night kill involves "summoning" a specific elder god, so if they target someone with a Sign that God becomes defunct which may prevent one of the wolves from performing the NK again.

    If I shoot Killjoy and he doesn't flip SK, tom and cyan and maybe Grape will be calling for my head and the only way to ensure it kills him is to use the Ruby which takes me out of Holy Water range.

    Is that enough to get me lynched?

    Maybe not tomorrow.

    But at some point people will come around to it.

    Nope. Silver himself cannot allow this because there will always, always be people claiming I killed DoTA until I actually factually flip, and nearer to LyLo I'm a fearlynch waiting to happen that we cannot afford to have.

    I would need to somehow extract a promise that that wouldn't happen from each and every individual player, and I couldn't in good conscience hold any of you to that because as long as I'm alive, *I* could be the serial killer.

    I am sort of glad I opted to live another Day, though, and I hope I've been of some use.
