Sorry for my ignorance, I'm new to this deck, but I have a doubt, I've seen quite a few Death and Taxes decklists that use Selfless Spirit, could you tell me why ?
I think the deck is pretty weak against global removals, especially without the Selfless.
I would like to take a question, i currently play R/G Tron and would like to hear from you guys if in my SB I should put Pithing Needle or Sorcerous Spyglass.
I think Spyglass is very good for giving information about the opponent's hand (and consequently the deck), since with these unbans and the great diversity of decks in the modern, having information of the opponent's hand/deck is very strong, however it comes in the turn 2.
Since the Needle is faster by entering Turn 1 and so it makes you interact/disrupt your opponent earlier.
Taking the question of Phelpssan, I've seen a lot of discussions about whether Blood Sun should play, on the Sideboard or Main Deck, you guys testing the card, what do you think ?
Still quite keen on some number of pyroclasm potentially. I'll have to look around at what needs killing. That magic 3 toughness might push me into bolt territory.
Which of the cards do you most use (according to the meta) and in what quantities ?
I currently use 1 Pyroclasm and 2 Kozilek's Return on the main deck, as the Kozilek's Return in addition to being tutored by Ancient Stirrings, and be Instant, it helps against HUMANS or MERFOLKS who are more than 3 Toughness whith his "flashback" ability.
I'm a R/G Tron player and in my opinion the card Blood Sun is wonderful against some decks whith the R/G Tron struggle's to deal, like VALAKUT'S, HATEBEARS, Eldrazi & Taxes, G/W Company and Etc.
I would definitely put around 3 copies on my SB, however I do not know which slots to put.
In case you had to put Blood Sun on RG Tron, with the current meta, how many copies would you guys run and in which slots ?
Would you run it in MD or SB ?
Has anybody actually tried To the Slaughter in the sideboard? Vizier of the Menagerie have a home here?
Hello my friend I think the Vizier of the Menagerie does not work well on the deck equally to Nissa, Steward of Elements both are good cards but for an aggro deck as we have enough magic on the deck I do not think they work well.
To the Slaughter, it is a good card, however its cost is quite high and for it to be used in its totality your meta must have decks that use planeswalkers because to sacrifice creatures we have Liliana of The Veil (that is used in some lists) Which does its job a lot better in my opinion.
As for Tasigur, the Golden Fang I think it's a good card because it does not necessarily need to be cast for 1 mana, for 3 or 4 manas it's still a good card and his ability especially in games against jund and abzan is very useful to the deck.
But my friend, since the list is new and the meta varies from city to city, I believe that all the tests are valid and maybe in the near future we will get to a definitive list.
On the main deck I took -1 Mishra's Bauble and placed +1 Architects of Will because it works best in the late game and it's easier to trigger delirium.
I put +1 Dismember instead of -1 Murderous Cut because I particularly think it fits more in the deck proposal.
And I put +1 Overgrown Tomb by removing -1 Liliana of the Veil to see if the mana base is more concise (but if the deck usually runs with 19 lands I'll put LotV again).
As for the sideboard I changed cards according to my current meta which has many Dredges, Grixis control, Trons, decks derived from DS and the new Counters Company deck's, so I put a copy of Disdainful Stroke because it is good against decks that use Cryptic Command, Damnation, Collected Company and bombs like Tron and Eldrazi Tron usually play's).
What did you guys think of the changes that i made in the new list?
Any advice ?
Any thoughts ?
Fair enough, although the deck is already almost entirely reliant on the graveyard. Another Delirium card isn't going to make that more of a problem than it already is. If we had Strix all of our prayers would be answered lol.
O man that looks really good to me. A fusion Between my original list and willy edels abzan traverse. I think my list was a bit ambitious with higher cost cards and utility traverse targets, and those higher cost card made lotv much less appealing as plusing her early made them hard to use. So trimming those cards and adding an s tier and still synergistic card like lili is great. I will have to talk to snook about it next time I see him at an event.
Hello my friends, I also really liked the list, but I have a question.
With 19 lands instead of 22 is the mana base still concise or is bit too ambitious ?
Can I ask if there is any room for Snapcaster Mage in this deck?
I've played with one in the deck before and it was useful. The downside to Jace is he has to survive a turn to flash anything back, but there are times you just need that spell in your yard now, which Snap is better for.
I believe that the space of the Snapcaster Mage on the deck is already filled by Jace, Vryn's Prodigy and I think for the deck proposal the jace is better overall.
Obviously there are times when the Snapcaster would shine on the deck but I believe the 3x Jace's and our beloved Eternal Witness are enough on the deck, but anyway the deck is brand new and tests are always welcome.
I think Damping Sphere can come to replace the slot of the Magus of the Moon in the SB somehow.
Sorry for my ignorance, I'm new to this deck, but I have a doubt, I've seen quite a few Death and Taxes decklists that use Selfless Spirit, could you tell me why ?
I think the deck is pretty weak against global removals, especially without the Selfless.
Do not you miss Magus of the Moon in this deck ?
It looks like a key creature on the R/W (BOROS) version (either on the sideboard or maindeck) because it works great against many kinds of decks.
What did you think of the card (revealed in the leak):
Broken Bond
1G
Sorcery
Destroy target artifact or enchantment. You may put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield.
I think it's a great sideboard card that can easily replace / add to Nature's Claim, as well as destroy what we need, it still helps to ramp up mana.
Any thoughts?

I would like your opinion
Should BS be side or main ?
Great question, I would also like to know according to the current meta, which of these cards do you guys like the most: Pyroclasm, Kozilek's Return, Lightning Bolt and Firespout.
I just forgot to post my current list, so there it goes:
4 Grove of the Burnwillows
2 Forest (#247)
4 Urza's Mine
1 Ghost Quarter
1 Sanctum of Ugin
4 Urza's Tower
4 Urza's Power Plant
Creatures (7)
1 Walking Ballista
1 Emrakul, the Promised End
2 Wurmcoil Engine
1 World Breaker
2 Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger
4 Ancient Stirrings
4 Sylvan Scrying
1 Pyroclasm
Artifact (15)
4 Chromatic Sphere
4 Chromatic Star
4 Expedition Map
3 Oblivion Stone
Planeswalker (6)
4 Karn Liberated
2 Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
Instant (3)
1 Lightning Bolt
2 Kozilek's Return
2 Thragtusk
3 Warping Wail
1 Crumble to Dust
2 Orbs of Warding
1 By Force
2 Nature's Claim
3 Relic of Progenitus
1 Seal of Primordium
I'll probably take out -1 Warping Wail too, and -1 Crumble to Dust, to put +2 Blood Sun in the SB (I could not find the third slot to put it).
Anyway, i think the Blood Sun is a good addition to the deck.
I'm a R/G Tron player and in my opinion the card Blood Sun is wonderful against some decks whith the R/G Tron struggle's to deal, like VALAKUT'S, HATEBEARS, Eldrazi & Taxes, G/W Company and Etc.

Would you run it in MD or SB ?
It is definitely a bomb and difficult to be solved by the opponent.
Any thoughts ?

That's sucks
