I am a little disappointed by the Naya face card. 2/5 without any relevant combat keyword but with an attack trigger? Do they actually think that it works great because of Trostani, Selesnya's Voice stats? He doesn't fit in the Naya big size theme. He should at least be able to populate once a turn or have an activated ability for the populate effect and skip the attack trigger with that stats.
My suggestions was close on the madness and flashback face card at least. I really like the mono white flashback card. I am okay with flashback Jeskai but a little confused on the Sultai morph. Well at least they give sultai something new. Not the same sacrifice/graveyard theme.
We also get sol ring in every deck and 1 Planeswalker per deck. Hmmm if I had to guess on Planeswalker:
Populate - Garruk reprint (not sure which one)
Flashback- without a doubt Jace
Madness - Nahiri (the second one)
Morph - really don’t know who? Not many commanders do morph
Nahiri? She was white or boros, never Rakdos. Liliana Vess has a discard effect.
Edit: Wait a minute... he said that every deck would have a Planeswalker not a Planeswalker reprint or? Still I don't think that Nahiri would lose white.
I posted this same thing on the mtgnexus and someone bought up Nahiri there. Yeah Nahiri can’t be madness since she is white and red and the deck is black and red. My new guess would be Ob Nix or Liliana as both are linked to discard.
Also I thought Planeswalker reprint. That’s what I’ve heard anyway and yeah Ugin for morph the new war of the spark Ugin would be great.

I’ve been checking the MTG twitter. The populate, flashback, madness, and morph themes are confirmed. I’ll see if I can figure out how to put screenshots up. If not I’ll put a link to the twitter (or both possibly).
Maybe Planeswalkers commanders will be recognized? As long as it’s not “we’re phasing out paper magic” I’m happy. Still very interested in what the announcement is. Hopefully something cool.
I’m registered to both as the same name. I like both but my main concern and determination of where I’ll go most of the time is very dependent on participation. I’ll try to contribute to both either way but I’m curious to see what everyone else does because in honesty I’m the type of person that follows everyone else. I really wanna use mtgnexus but if I see little or no forums with little or no responses I’ll probably not be around there that much. I know it sounds bad but bottom line I’ve always been a follower and not a leader so pretty much following where everyone else goes and the majority of my posts is where everyone else will post and create lots of forums.

nah we have 53 alread : 8*5=40; 6; 7; 40+6+7=53 (the projected number taking base on m19)
Now we wait to see if we get and extra rare, MR, or probably just an extra common or uncommon.

Assuming all the monocolored are even with rares and all 8 we should have the following cards left for rares:
1 green
2 Reds
2 Artifacts
As far as a 16th Mythic my guess at this point is No but as Dusk707 said who knows. For all I know we can get a new Zedru or Zacama card in this set for no reason at all! That’s probably unlikely and the closest we’ll get to a 16th Mythic will be the BaB promo.

I’m curious about 16 too. Are we getting another Mythic that I am unaware of or are we including the BaB with the Mythic count?
Again, M19 had 16 mythics in set, which is what I based this rarity distribution off off. They were 5 walkers, five elder dragons, five mono mythics, and crucible. In the op, the plus next to each number indicates cards at that rarity outside of the main set (where BaB and Walker decks are)
Edit: that’s not to say that there will be 16 mythics, but that it has been done. Given everything a sixteenth mythic could would like be a rainbow legend or an artifact of some kind
I see your point. If we get a 16th Mythic I’ll say Artifact since again. We had also had a double faced card in M19 which sometimes wizards disregard in counts. Right now it’s hard to tell but we will find out soon. On one hand, there’s the double faced card thing I said. On the other hand, m19 still had 16 mythics so I’m split over how many cards we will get.
On another note, that black Artifact Rare makes me wonder if we are getting a cycle of colored artifacts. I know we only got one colored Artifact card so far but it can happen given we got room
For another rare in each color.
Edit: I’m so dumb! It’s an Uncommon colored Artifact NOT a rare. Regardless, Uncommon colored Artifact cycle maybe?
